Since Sony bought them we’ve had Uncharted 1-4, Uncharted Lost Legacy an TLOU 1, 2 and Left Behind. What devs have MS bought and improved an brought out new, incredible games??? None!! They buy already huge devs an simply make the 3rd party games exclusive.

I do prefer third person but first person does look very good. Imo all games like TLOU should come with the option to play in 1st an 3rd person.

I got a Back Bone an it’s great if kids or missus are watching ***** on TV in living room i can still game. They’re £99 but got mine on offer for £62. Works on Series X too. You need an iPhone to play.

Never even seen a Dead Island game playing but caught a vid of Dead Island 2 an it looks fantastic. Not a serious game, just unadulterated violence an gore an great fun. Pre ordered it!!

It’s simply the price. I’m not saying it’s over priced but it is expensive. Might put people who never tried VR an are unsure off. I love VR, got the PSVR 1 and Quest 2 but at the mo the only PSVR2 game i’m really interested in is Gran Turismo 7. I’ll prob buy PSVR2 near Xmas, might ask the missus to get me it for my Xmas prezzie.

So Halo 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Gears 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Forza 2, 3, 4, 5, Motorsport aren’t exclusives? Wat does that leave Xbox??? An Days Gone apparently released with lots of bugs, i didn’t play it until about 9 pm on release, by then the bugs had gone so i never saw. Now everyone raves about it, it’s a fantastic game!!

The digital PS5 rrp is £100 less than the disc, just because stores near you rip people off doesn’t change this. An yeah the Series S is a bargain price but you are gettin less for ya money. The only difference in the PS5 disc an digital is the disc drive, it has has the same power an same memory. The pads are different an feal different to use, some folk may well prefer the Xbox pad, i had to get used to the sticks not being side by side but i’m good with it now. But even if ya prefer the Xbox pad there is no denying the PS pads are true next gen. Sony invented a NEW pad, Microsoft didn’t.

Ok, Playstation has no affordable alternative. Yes it does, the digital PS5 is £100 less than the disc version. PS5 is weaker than Series X, that’s kinda both right an wrong. Xbox has slightly more teraflops, however lots of games perform better on PS5. This isn’t my opinion, Digital Foundry have shown this numerous times in their vids. Also about 1.5 teraflops difference is nothing. The Series S is about 4.5 teraflops yet it’s visually stunning an not a million miles behind the Series X or PS5. Series X has more features, i’m not sure what ya mean here??? Quick resume? I know the PS5 has far superior pads. Whilst it’s a great pad the Series X pad is the same as the Xbox One pad. PS4 exclusives only brought Horizon, WHAT??? PS4 had absolutely loads of exclusives that scored 10/10 across the board! The Last of Us 2, God of War, Uncharted 4, Spiderman, Miles, Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone, Detroit, etc. Your popularity thing is just silly. Xbox would overtake Playstation in no time if more people deemed it the better console. Playstation 2 is the biggest selling console ever, you saying PS5 is the biggest selling console of the two because of PS2’s success??? I have absolutely no problem you preferring the Xbox, that’s fine. Opinions differ, just don’t feel you have to hate Playstation too, that’s silly. That’s fanboyish. Love them both, you’ll have far more fun!!

@Fiendish-Beaver i don’t agree with timed exclusives, it should be stopped imo. I’m all for exclusive games made by Sony or Microsoft devs, that’s a good thing imo. Wat should happen is proper exclusives, TLOU, God of War, Uncharted, Halo, Forza, etc are fine.
Timed exclusives should be stopped.
If Microsoft or Sony acquire a dev that has an already huge, multi platform game, like CoD that game must come to both systems indefinitely. If Microsoft owned Activision releases a new ip in a couple of years or so then Microsoft have the right to make that exclusive if they wish.
That’s how i think things should be.

Only diff really is Playstation devs make the best games. Hence why i do prefer Playstation. That could easily change, if Xbox started releasing mind blowing, story driven games i’d say they are equal or maybe even Xbox has the better games.

Playstation make the best games, this is fact! You could argue it’s subjective but the quality of the games is so big it isn’t really subjective. It clear as crystal.
Playstation has far better pads. PS5 pads are next gen, Series pads, whilst great, are the same as last gen pads.
Playstation loads games about double the speed of the Series X.
Playstation has far more games available. PS+ also has more games than Game Pass.
You say the Series X is more powerful? Not really. Ok it has about 1.5 more teraflops. However this is tiny! Your eyes can’t see a difference in 1.5 teraflops. For example the Series S is about 4.5 teraflops yet it still looks fantastic.
Lots of games run better on PS5, check out Digital Foundry’s numerous comparisons to see this.
PS5 has about 5 or 6 PS5 exclusives, Series X has none!! Unless ya count Flight Sim which is a PC game.

@cburg quality wise as in visuals an performance there is zero difference for me. I know a lot say Series X is more powerful or X games runs better on PS5 but i don’t see it. They are pretty much identical to my eyes. Playstation exclusives are def the best games around tho imo.

How many Xbox exclusives get an overall average review score of 10/10? How many Xbox exclusives have sold 20+ million copies? Xbox has Forza an Gears which are great but old. Halo which i’m not a fan of but i know a lot like it. Wat else??? Sea of Thieves, not bad. Playstation has TLOU 1 an 2, Uncharted 1-4, Lost Legacy, God of War, GoW Ragnarok, Ghost of Tsushima, GT7, Days Gone, Ratchet an Clank, Horizon, Spiderman, Miles, etc. There is no comparison. I have both PS5 an Series X, PS+ an Game Pass. PS def has the better games 💯!!

@Fiendish-Beaver Microsoft actually couldn’t outbid Sony for timed exclusives. Think about it, Playstation has a far bigger user base than Xbox. Hogwarts for instance, 80% of console sales were on Playstation. A dev is gonna choose Sony over Microsoft every time as they know their game will sell millions more on Playstation. Microsoft would have to cover the difference to win the bid which wouldn’t be economically viable.

Bella is Ellie, if 19 year old Ellie looks 15, 19 year old Ellie will also look 15. Some people look younger than they are, it’s not a big deal.

@Jacko11 you make zero point. We don’t know who will play new characters. Why would they look young too? Fact is Bella looks young, Bella is Ellie. Ellie may look young. People need to forget about what characters look like in the game. They have no intention of making characters look like they do in the game. The characters in the game are made up. They’re drawings done on a PC. Some people look young, some people look old. The character Ellie looks young. Makes no difference to anything.

How can the PS3 an PS4 version of GTA 5 be ranked higher than the PS5 version!? They’re the exact same game but PS5 version has more stuff, better visuals an higher fps!! For me top 4 are 1. GTA5 (PS5 version being the best), 2. San Andreas, 3. Vice City, 4. GTA 4.

Was in 2 minds about getting this as i finished it on PS2 an only recently bought it on Oculus Quest 2. Played the demo just to see what they did with it and it’s fantastic!! My birthday on 21st March so asked the missus for this. I don’t mind waiting a few days for my prezzie.

TLOU is number 1 by a huge margin!! Res Evil 4 will be second. The demo is fantastic!!

@JP80 i have Res Evil 4 on Oculus Quest 2. Onvs it’d be more visually impressive on PSVR2 but it’s very good.

@Saucymonk i’m the same. Got PS5 on release, Series X bout a year later. I’ve owned every Playstation but this is my first Xbox. I rarely use it, i mean Game Pass is good but it doesn’t touch PS+ extra. My most played game on Game Pass is Forza Horizon 5 an that’s been out a while. Play a bit of Flight Sim, that’s about it. My kids play it more than me for Roblox, Minecraft an Gang Beasts.
