@Vacuumator it’s not a fictional disease, Cordyceps is real. It only infects insects tho. And of coarse the spores would get everywhere. If there’s a gas leak it spreads everywhere, spores would do the same. The wind would blow them for miles.

I never played this back in the day. Looks really good. Played Callisto an think that’s decent, looks similar.

For me, until we get some exclusives that Xbox have promised an assuming they live up to the hype, PS+ extra an premium are better than Game Pass at the mo. Far better games an more AAA titles.

How come it’s so late??? It’s hardly a big game an it’s been on Game Pass for weeks!! It’s ok, prefer House Flipper an Lawnmower Simulator.

I have it on Oculus Quest 2, far better. I can play to absolutely any music i like!! Bit of Dire Straights, Guns n Roses, Queen.

Saw a game last night that looks very good, Lies of P. It’s apparently a Souls like game based around Pinocchio but it’s very dark, not the fairy story we all know. There’s aldo the boxing game that’s had about 5 name changes, that looks very good. Hogwarts, Dead Space, Suicide Squad, Res Evil 4, Silent Hill an of coarse Spiderman 2. There’s also Redfall, Forza Motorsport an Starfield on Xbox but ya can never be as confident of ghe quality of Xbox exclusives as ya can Playstation exclusives, we shall see???

How about rewarding loyal customers too!!

The Last of Us Part 1 is def number 1!!

Special mention to WWE 2K22, was a huge WWF fan wen i was a kid, not bought a game since Megadrive but this one is great. Also Lego Starwars Skywalker Saga, Sifu and Stray deserve a mention.

Absolutely nothing comes close to the story of The Last of Us. GOAT for sure!!

@sketchturner the PS5 versions of PS4 games look and run so much better. It’s 100% worth the upgrade imo. Ya not telling me ya own every cross gen game on there!? Even some of the games ya do own are worth playing again with the advanced tech. Up to now i’ve finished Spiderman, Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone and The Last of Us PS5 versions even tho i finished them on PS4. Then there’s games like Returnal, Demon’s Souls, Ratchet an Clank, etc. def worth the upgrade.

Gotta be TLOU Part 1. Absolutely mind blowing. Altho i do love the Atari game. I remember about 41 years ago, i was in my parents back garden building a snow man, i was 4. I tried to go back in the house an the door was locked!! I started to cry an my mum came an let me in. I walked in living room an my dad an my uncle were sat in front of the TV. They had these sticks in their hands moving tanks about on the TV shooting at each other. They gave me a go an it amazed me!! It was Combat on the Atari 2600. The first video game i ever saw/played/owned!! Was one of my Xmas prezzies of the missus, can’t wait to play with my 8 year old twin boys tomo!!

@IOI wrong. This was before the TLOU 3 story. Naughty Dog are well in to making an online game based in The Last of Us world and a new ip.

@Would_you_kindly plus the extra sales of Playstation exclusive games. The % cut could be the condition Sony put to MS. I think most would subscribe to both, i do. PS+ has millions more subscribers than Game Pass.

@ReadySlayerOne exactly. People could buy a PS5, play all Xbox games and Playstation exclusives too. Or stick with Xbox an just play Xbox games.

@Would_you_kindly but they’d fill that void with money made from Game Pass and money made from increased PS exclusive sales that former Xbox gamers would spend. Swings an roundabouts. Only a few day 1 3rd party games come to Game Pass. It’s not like 90% of new release games come to Game Pass day 1.

Sony don’t want COD on Game Pass. That’s the bottom line. I own PS5 an XSX. I bought the last 3 COD’s on Playstation. If it were on Game Pass i’d never buy it on Playstation again. I don’t know why Sony don’t allow MS to put Game Pass on PS? It’d surely be a goid business move. A lot of Xbox only gamers would switch to Playstation. They could play their Xbox games but also get Playstation exclusives which are the best games. Sony could ask for a percentage of takings for all Playstation Game Pass subs. MS would prob eventually stop making Xbox an become kinda like Steam.

A big reason i stuck with the disc PS5!!! £50-£60 on disc!! Got Ragnarok for £57.99, TLOU Part 1 for £54.99. These £10 an £15’s all add up!!

@Ipslore you seen the latest trailer? I get wat ya sayin but imo that don’t apply to TLOU. The game was very much like a Netflix series that let me control the main character.

Why can’t MS simply sign a contract with Sony that states every future Call of Duty will come to Playstation the same day it comes to Xbox? Job done!!

@thatCFguy Sony’s game? Buying little known devs, investing massively and making the best games ever? I really wish Microsoft would do this instead of just buying up already edtablished devs an just making the same games exclusive to Xbox.

@Athrum how can you know? We’ve seen nothing other than a 1 minute cut scene. If we get gameplay footage soon then i’ll be more confident Microsoft are correct.

If it is 2023 i doubt it will be before the run up to Xmas. However this is just a guess. All we’ve seen is a 1 minute cut scene.

I got a new TV a week or so ago, a Sony Bravia XR i think it is, 2022 model. The only game i’ve tried at 120 fps is COD Cold War an the only difference i can tell is everyone runs an sprints faster.

This is the reason Playstation is the better console for me, Playstation exclusive games are mind blowing!! I own the PS5 an Series X, my kids have Series S an Switch and all are great consoles. PS5 and XSX are pretty much identical and the Xbox does have some fantastic games but Sony devs are absolute masters at what they do.

@Northern_munkey if the price is the same i go digital. All £70 games i buy physical, you can get them from £50-£60.

@TrickyDicky99 for example, say The Last of Us was a new game, due out next week on both PS4 an PS5. The PS4 version would be the PS4 remastered version available now, the PS5 version would be the remake version available now. No way could you say the PS4 version of TLOU held back the PS5 version.

@TrickyDicky99 yeah, i get wat ya saying. My point is they make PS5 versions using PS5 tech. A lot seem to think they make a new game using PS4 tech then basically remaster it for PS5 meaning the game is held back due to tech limitations. They don’t. They make the PS5 game using all the mod cons a PS5 game can perform. The only thing that hold PS5 games back is technology and dev expertise. In 6 years or so games will look and play better. Games that come out in the run up to PS6 release will be pretty much the best a PS5 can do.

@OrtadragoonX but they make 2 versions, PS4 an PS5. The PS4 version is the same game but with lower quality visuals, lower fps, lesser enemy ai, etc. look at The Last of Us remake, the world is much denser, more interactive objects, plaster an wood flying off walls as guns are fires, enemy ai is much improved. In the PS4 version say you’re fighting 20 enemies, only 5 enemies are active at any one time, the others are loaded as ya focus on them. In the remake all 20 enemies are active simultaneously an can woork together to flank you, get behind you, cover each other, making it much more realistic. It’s the same principal. If The Last of Us was a new game and came out today you’d have the PS4 version as it is an the PS5 version as it is.
