I finished the PS4 version last year. I'll get the PS5 upgrade eventually but not yet. Since we're in a bit of a game drought, I'm planning to ration this and the Death Stranding DC through the rest of the year while tackling my backlog.
On another note, I can’t get over how fresh faced and young Joel looks in the top image. ND did a great job at aging him while keeping his core features intact
Navtra hasn’t been correct on the Death Stranding prediction yet so don’t get too excited folks (as someone who was disappointed by that). Still, doesn’t seem too far fetched to see a FF7R pt. 2 teaser at least
While I highly doubt PSVR2 will cost as little as its predecessor, I don’t think Sony will get away with charging more than the console itself. My bet is it’ll cost just about the same as the disk-equipped console at $499 USD. I could be very wrong but $799 USD doesn’t seem viable to me.
I found the first demo intriguing. 45 FPS with RT on is surprisingly smooth. The environments looks crazy good in HDR but some character models are deeply lacking in detail, while others are stunning.
From what I’ve seen, it feels like the narrative and the gameplay elements are solid. The piece that still concerns me is the technical side since I’m still seeing frame rate/pacing issues in this preview. I’ll still play day one thanks to GameFly. Otherwise I would wait for reviews.
I expect it to be on par with the Quest 2 and to throw in DualSense-quality controllers as a plus. I’m not expecting it to compete with some of the enthusiast headsets already on the market, but I still expect it to cost as much as a new console.

My fellow Americans, fret not about price. Sign up for GameFly! Honestly I was shocked they were in business but they’re still kicking. This way, you can probably play it day 1 and just purchase it reduced price if you decide to.
I voted Capcom but I could really see Team Ninja doing Castlevania too. I love FROM and with Bloodborne they have proven they can pull off the atmosphere and aesthetic. But even with Sekiro I’m not sure about the platforming doing justice to the series.
This is my current go-to place for news and semi-substantiated rumors (other than Era) since I got a PS5. I’m hungry for that Death Stranding and TLOU2 remaster/patch!
One way that I’m disappointed is that no one is talking about how disappointing Tempest/3D audio has been save for in two or three games. I want Sony to feel the heat to get this fixed so it at least doesn’t worsen the audio experience for most games. Make it at least as good as Dolby for headphones.

@get2sammyb What does your gut tell you? Is BB a real indie dev? Is the founder a “grifter”? Is it really Kojima? Is the IP really Silent Hills?
I feel like many people go to extremes of going all in on everything at face value or Kojima/Silent Hills when there are other possibilities.
