I knew Biomutant would eventually be a freebie! Awesome. Very interested in trying out the platform fighter. That WB one just wasn't for me. All in all a fantastic lineup.

Sony itself is the middle tier of online services. Miles ahead of Nintendo, but there always seems to be these odd hiccups that seem to give kind of a middle finger to their fans. I'm not a fanboy so I'm kinda ambivalent. I managed to get premium for a good chunk cheaper than Extra for the year so I don't mind, but I've used Premium level stuff maybe a few times.

It's a 3D Sonic game. I expected worse. If it shows up on PS+ I'll try it. That's it.

Unusual how it took years for a port! I played for a few minutes on Android, but I don't care for playing on a phone. What I played was artistically appealing at least.

Chorus is a good one for Extra because some people end up loving it, but it gets very frustrating very fast if you can't control the ship freakin perfectly. Wish I hadn't bought it.

Hopefully they will cycle in some more interesting games.

I've been having a ton of fun with it on PS4. I like it a bit more than Mario 3D World on Wii U, for some reason. I got the disc new on sale $20 last year. Couldn't beat that.

There's platformer fans on PC. It'll just take a good sale and word of mouth for it to get around.

I wonder if the Fenyx Rising DLC will be on sale, since other ubisoft stuff is. I could go for more of that game, later.

Nothing stands out to me, I'll try the puzzle game. But there's so much on Extra to still try one can't complain.

It's odd that games still cost more US dollars than British pounds. Aren't they equal these days?

@KidRisky It's worth getting used to if you like finding creative gems. Classic media molecule clunky interface but oh how the charm makes up for it.

I may give Odyssey and DQ Heroes a try. But I really oughta finish Tsushima first!

@papa_frezz The VR was something I've never had on a console before. But not really a game changer since I can only play it about 20 minutes before feeling off.

@Jaz007 I agree. I tried to get into DOS2, but the tedious combat killed it for me. I liked the world and vibe, tho. A game like that with some simple Zelda ALTTP combat would be my jam.

@warrenflatt Xbox development has to be with the Series S also in mind, so there's that. Honestly, though, after PS3 it seems like upgrading a console is like upgrading a phone. It's neat and a bit faster, but a different version of the same thing. 1996 is gone, man.

I'm glad there's no PS5-only games.

@Jeaz it's common but everyone thinks it sucks. Keeping a good ecosystem going means not burning bridges. Last couple years make it look like Sony is thinking they can pull Nintendo - style hostile moves and people will stay loyal.

I understand it from a business standpoint. Everybody prioritizes the customers they actually make a decent profit off of. It's absolutely stupid from a PR standpoint. Especially considering people who are paying for subscriptions still wouldn't qualify for better support. I'm sure they could have thought up a different perk for people.

Looking forward to an arcadey racer. I've played the others on the old psnow. They were ok. One was Mortal Kombat with different characters. Which is fine for a little bit. Super Hot was neat until it got difficult. Just didn't feel any incentive to keep going figuring out the perfect moves you need to do.

Sea of Stars looks neat. Hopefully they make it less frustrating than The Messenger. That game sucked after a point.

@commentlife I can only imagine that games keep going because of the old TV show and intense weird fandom. If it had been a game series alone it would have finally died a while ago. Many other far better series have disappeared.

Looks adorable, but man that screechy music in the trailer was sooo out of place and painful. Hopefully most of the game music is fitting.

I'm up at the cabin so in the evening I'll fiddle with some old 3DS and DS games I haven't beat like Link Between Worlds and Samus Returns.

How high would the price of a ps5 have to be for an equivalent pc to be more economical? This is a weird statement.

$50 isn't a deciding factor, but it is truly bizarre for 2 year old hardware.

Consoles are good bang for your buck hardware wise even with this increase, but they are really dumb with the PR lately. Nobody increases hardware price partway into a generation unless it's an upgrade like the Pro. C'mon man.

The lowest option is $100? I'm aghast that regular controllers have crept up to $70.

I say give it a year and see where it goes. Back on PsNow the PS3 streaming was always crap so I'm kinda glad it got separated out of the Extra tier. But I think it's nonsense that Remasters and Remakes that are PS4 games get put on Premium instead of Extra. I say either let Premium be the "extra crap most people don't want" category and have Extra be the "good one" or make Premium actually premium.

@Mattock1987 yeah it's more of an interactive art piece that you stroll a character through. It's my favorite new genre of the modern era. Kind of the opposite of souls-like.

Bugsnax and Mana are the big ones for me. That'll keep me busy for months. I already got Yakuza 0 and got very bored pretty quick. Not understanding the appeal. Not bad, just mediocre and repetitive.

@Mattock1987 Journey was a PS3 game. And it was lovely enough to be worth playing through a few times.

@PushButtons having to pay to play fortnite on XB1 seems pretty ridiculous. Having Netflix locked behind gold was one of the reasons I didn't get a 360. That plus blu ray and exclusives.

I suppose I'll make a WB account one of these days... dammit...

@AFCC we all know gamepass is better, but it's also $80 more per year (I think) than extra, so it's relative. For a guy like me who only games for maybe 40 minutes a day, whether a game gets to PS+ this year or next year is irrelevant. Also I'd prefer quality first party titles a year or 3 later over quick ones.

Was hoping for some cute indie game. Not into mafia or military stuff.
