I own the PS4 Jak collection and the store let me download the PS5 version for free, so that's nice.

All we need now is the other Jak games and the original Ratchet & Clanks to be released for the holy trinity of PS2 Platformers to be complete

What's the point of giving us Jad and Daxter when we can play the remaster version on PS4/5 for years?

@AFCC the PS2onPS4 emulation version has glitches on PS5, so this uses the new emulator and also features rewind and save states. Those features weren't on the previous emulation of Jak

Funnily enough, I'm currently playing Devil May Cry 3 on the PS3...despite having it on PS4. I have no explanation.

Just would be super cool to have Ratchet trilogy on PS5 now, then I can rest peacefully.

Sweet, the Sly games are £8 each for non-Premium members. Definitely gonna pick those up to vote with my wallet.

@AFCC The PSN store is telling me that I already own Jak & Daxter 1. I already had it on PS4. So maybe it's that version or, if it is a PS2 emulated version, it's bundled for people that own the PS4 version already.

@Nekomichu @Member_the_game Mine lapsed on the 4th December. I used to buy 'em and stack 'em every Black Friday (using ShopTo's discounted vouchers) but obviously New Sony don't want you to do that so they can fleece you of even more money.
I have enough credit in my wallet (using ShopTo's discounted vouchers again) to buy Essential should I need to but at the moment, I don't need it and begrudge paying £60 just to play online (anyone remember the free PS3 or even the £40 PS4 days?)

Are these upscaled? I played the tutorial of sly2 and it looks WAY crisper than sly 1 did? Can anybody confirm that?

i can’t believe they don’t have the ratchet trilogy on ps now though, i just finished playing through it last month, they all hold up really good & are still the best games in the series imo. if they were to add these games to ps5 somehow , like they did with the sly trilogy i think id still prefer to play on ps3 - the controller makes more sense for the games for one since its nearly identical to the ps2 controller

@WolverineBub12 the ratchet trilogy on the ps2 is so good. the first game has rough gameplay now , but i wouldn’t say its aged bad at all. its my personal fav & the chemistry & interactions between characters , and the story are the best. another issue may be ratchet himself is too much of an ass in this game, but i wish they didn’t over correct him in the subsequent games .

also which ratchet 4 are you talking about ? tools of destruction or deadlocked?

I have the Jak collection on PS3 well the digital download thing is I don't remember them giving them away and I certainly didn't buy them back in the day. I could download them when I didn't have Plus but I may actually do Jak 2 and 3 from this instead of the PS3 versions

My favourite of the OG trilogy is the third one but Gladiator is my favourite PS2 OG R&C game though.
Really hope they add all of them to PS Store at some point

@Dragoon1994 Nice choices. i have deadlocked in my shopping cart(ps3 store) & need to play it over the holidays; ive always wanted to play it and theres been a resurgence in this games reputation.

also, the third one is great too. playing tools of destruction right after finishing the 3rd game was extremely underwhelming because of how much better the 3rd game is.

i hope they bring the classics to the ps5 someday for you guys, because the original trilogy really is a masterpiece. none of the modern R&Cs compare!

This version of Jak and Daxter is a nice improvement over the ps4 one. Seems clearer and more responsive. And of course rewind.

Now pls give us ape escape 3, ico, and silent hill 3!

Yeah definitely, A Crack in Time beats all of the OG R&C games though it’s my favourite R&C game, Gladiator is my second favourite

@Dragoon1994 i prefer the content & quality of the original trilogy but a crack in time is good too, better than ToD for sure. there aren’t really any bad ratchet games , albeit i never played all 4 one & im gonna try gladiator (deadlocked) soon . cant wait

Diving in to get the platinum on Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy yet again between today and tomorrow. One of my favourite games ever, it's always such a blast. People here talking about fishing, but I think the real annoying part as a kid was the snacks in the swamp.

All 4 one was good but they could have made it better. Size Matters could have done with being a bit longer.
I haven’t played Secret Agent Clank, Q Force or Into the Nexus so can’t comment on those ones
