@Yor-sama no stamina would take away the fun of climbing up mountains and planning a route , you can one shot ore if you punch it , if you stand in the middle of a bunch of trees and hold r1 and r2 it will chop down a bunch , i dont think the controls are that complicated , there's a lot i agree and could do with a more simplified version for people who struggle ,i like the way you level up but would also like the other way , difficulty selection is always a good idea so I agree with that.

@DennisReynolds i dont get salty im not a child , the problem i have with this particular 6/10 is its inconsistencies and its passive aggressive follow up articles and let's not forget the childish 'ooh ooh look at this everyone, I was right, I was right, you seem to be getting salty because my opinion is different to yours, how ironic

@GirlVersusGame hopefully the load screens are not as bad , also a few major sidequests where broken , and i wish they'd gone deeper with some , the great idea was there ,its like they just thought nah thats enough , I dont wanna spoil anything but that dude in the room who you keep going back to talk to , I wanted more of that but it just ended, I also wanted a space dark brotherhood but there's none of that.

@SoulofBashar its the only game ive played that started off as a 9 and then dropped to a 4 at the end of my playthrough 😂

@Rich33 a few members have asked before about ps5 coverage in reviews and no reply as far as im aware , its obvious that most games on the ps5 will generally perform and look worse than the pro , but this is the first review ive seen where its actually been mentioned to such a degree, so i ask, why is that

@BanChatum the witcher got a pass with its terrible performance on consoles at launch because of its superb narrative, i dont see why the ps5 version of crimson desert cant with its ambitious and stunning immersive world.

@AnginaPectoris well they did a great job with the pro, i dont really care about the ps5 standard as I dont own one.

@ShogunRok there is nothing wrong with the pro version of crimson desert in a previous DF video ,they stated it was a solid presentation with frame drops notably at bug hill the rest of the game is mostly stable , nobody has mentioned the ps5 version in these comments most have been referencing the pro version, i dont see why you see this video as some flag waving victory, push square hardly mentions the ps5 in their reviews anymore , so why is this different ?

@themightyant well they do , they owe the devs an accurate unbiased review , and what 100gb patch was this it isnt COD, and what patch reset all their progress, the devs clearly stated there would be a day one patch and it was an important one , youtubers knew about some of the other features coming in a couple of days after , so why didn't reviewers , they probably did , they just didn't care.
after 7 years of development and all their hard work, they couldve at least waited a couple of weeks , like they did with marathon.

@themightyant the devs dont owe the reviewers anything , its a reviewers job to critique a game after they have experienced everything it has to offer , regardless when they get to play , how many times have reviews been delayed, because of late review code on push square, any review less than a hundred hours with crimson desert, i just cant take seriously.

@Boomers-r-us yeah i did the same, hernand has been great , some great secrets , nice surprises, cool weapons , good quests, puzzles etc , my only concern is, is the rest of the map going to be of such high quality , or is it just going to be empty crap.

@somnambulance dont think anyone has much free time these days I work 6 days , but i spend a few hours a night , got about 70hrs on it , if you like the sprawling games of bethesda youll love it , i mean I've got plenty of other games to play , but I'll stick with crimson desert , partly because its so good and partly because im scared ill forget the controls if I do 😁

@Old-Red yup, how many times have we seen , 'where is our (game) review' why not this time, bit weird for such a massive world , with so many mechanics and features, its easy a 300 hrs game , definitely not 40

@Rich33 you see i have a problem with this , as push square have not been including ps5 versions in there reviews for a while , and then suddenly they do with crimson desert, and mark it down accordingly , I want all reviews to follow this style in the future ,as there are millions of ps5 owners who would appreciate knowing what exactly, is their version going to look and play like.

@Boxmonkey ign have done nothing but try and destroy crimson desert with there passive aggressive tweets and articles , to a certain degree push square are guilty of this as well , is it because they are a Korean dev , is it because they dont use unreal and have been vocal about its shortcomings, who knows

@Xodan great game keeps selling as word of mouth gets out , who would've thought, marathon got two weeks to allow extra polish and various patches after its release, before ign gave it a massive 9...not helped its sales though.

@Xodan it sold over two million before the first patch dropped ,what are you on about 😂 they where also working on that first patch a week before launch thats why it dropped 72hrs after , people think theyre some sort of super devs who changed the game on the whim of customers , dont forget those patches have to be approved also by sony , microsoft etc.

@Yousef- yeah mods make it better , making everything star wars adds some much needed variety , however im not sure whether sonys stance on mods has changed, and no outside assets are allowed.

@JDINCINERATOR id say after the first 10 hours you've basically seen all there is to see , I played at launch so every thing was new and I spent over a 100 hours with it hoping to discover something great, i didn't, going to mars the moon and earth is quite cool though.

I wouldnt go at far as to say its rubbish but once you realise all the planets that you can explore are either big empty rocks or they have carbon copy pirate bases it gets very monotonous , as you gave crimson desert a 6 if you review this, i expect probably a 4 or 5

Will it make the gameplay any better though ? I loved most ac games 200 hrs in valhalla, over a 100 in black flag , something didn't sit right with me though with this title , I found it boring the mission structure was confusing , the side content was all exactly the same with no meaningful rewards , I found naoe just miserable with a lack of personality and yasuke bland , all those faces on that select screen you visit and they all have the same outcome,it was just very meh, crimson desert is a better ac game than ac

Absolutely loved this game, score is fair as I would've scored it probably the same if I didn't play it on game pass , some of the side stories needed fleshing out more, and the ending was quite abrupt , but some of those songs are superb and the stories it does tell are excellent, id say wishlist and as soon as it drops in price its a must buy.

@KundaliniRising333 its too hard for them to review correctly i feel, they rushed through the main story, tried a couple of features in a game ram packed with them, and then publish passive aggressive articles to try and justify there ineptitude,a game doesnt sell 5 million copies by being weird, mediocre and broken, its a game made for gamers , not reviewers.
