@Scribedby I just want good games i don't care about game pass to be honest , its 90 percent crap anyway that I would never play , ive got a series x but I see no reason to buy microsofts next iteration , all the games will come to ps6, I know some people think the new xbox will have some sort of steam intergration,but they also think that will allow them to play ps5/ps6 games available on pc , they're stupid enough to believe that sony will allow that , they will block any games coming to a plastic box with the xbox logo on it,i really can't see any future in the xbox as a console , they may as well rebrand it and call it GP

@OmegaStriver it wasnt just the live service games , covid put a lot of studios behind , i believe if it wasn't for the pandemic we would seen a couple of first party games by now, release dates at least for this year.

I really enjoyed the first one and will be buying this at launch , but does anyone else feel the whole franchise is slightly overhyped , i mean it is good but doesn't really do anything new , I just hope this one does a bit more to justify the hype.

@Liamsufc1 they have fired 17,000 people since 2024 so hes not that far off the mark, ms are known for there scummy business practices , 'we will buy out sony from the console market' remember that leaked document.

@Barry_vV in interviews hes always come across as a likeable chap , I really don't see what the problem is with him, im sure if i sat down with him and had a chat ,we would have very different views about certain subjects, but the world would be a boring place if we all agreed, no need to hate someone because of that , yeah they can be annoying, but hate is a bit much.

I've been gaming for about 45 years my first experience was a binatone tv master at a friend's house, e33 is one of the best games I've ever played,the story,characters , gameplay loop are all superb , and its their first game,quite remarkable really, shows what you can do with a talented team passionate about there product , excellent stuff.

@mazzel it was an xbox exclusive,microsoft said they would fund development, then told them the day after the meeting, nah we are stopping funding we don't want it anymore , arsehole trick , and the devs should have had a better contract drawn up , so now the game is stuck in limbo , I hope sony takes over and its a massive success and a big FU to ms,wonder if the deal was made before the acquisition, that would be interesting to find out

@Runex2121 God mate don't say that, im 56 this year I've got a full time job and I work split shifts weird hours , ive got 5 kids and 2 grandkids , and i still find the time , never let life get in the way of something you enjoy, its short enough as it is , you can always find the time, ive used holidays from work to play a big game 😂 im looking forward to the gears release on ps5 , ill have the controller in hand , cig in my mouth and a bottle of whisky on the table till 4am 😂

@K1LLEGAL it was popular because of gamepass, it was pc and xbox only and available on gamepass , nobody would've bought that nonsense, I dont know if its been released on ps5 yet, ive no interest in that crap

@Scribedby oh i would much prefer for ms to be in the situation they was with the xbox one , major competition for Sony, us gamers are better off for that , just look at sonys releases for 2024 2025 , they're few and far between, if it wasn't for 3rd party deals they would have astrobot, no way that would've happened in the ps4 days , just seems like that's the future of gaming now , which is kind of depressing

@Scribedby no it won't go anywhere, xbox is dead without it , gamepass is far more important to them than any new xbox console , its just working out to be far more expensive than they actually thought , it will increase in price as well ,before they release anymore big hitters from their studios, most of the games are just throwaway 1hr gaming sessions, people aren't as invested in a game as much as they would be, if they paid for it in full, e33 would've made a fortune on pc if it wasn't for gamepass , i kind of think they probably regret that decision now, they shouldve had more faith in their product.

@Ricky-Spanish they've ported helldivers 2 and that's it, it was already ported to pc ,it wouldn't be expensive to port it across to xbox from pc, and sony aren't even promoting the xbox version, unlike ms promoting the pro version of doom, it was basically an X post, sales will probably be dreadful just like ff16, and that will be the end of that.

@dskatter the closure of turn 10 is shocking,they've closed them to fund bethesda and cod studios, 5000 employees by all accounts between the two companies.

I really don't understand the gamepass discussion on whether its bad or good for the game industry,when an example is already here , look how streaming channels have destroyed the cinema.

@Ricky-Spanish theres more than a few to be fair, id say its yourself that's in the minority , its not just pure xbox its most xbox centric web pages that echo this sentiment, the sales figures of new games not available on game pass is all the proof you need , I know ps has the bigger install base , but even taking that into consideration , xbox sales are dreadful, after the success of expedition 33, I'd wager that the sequel will not be day one on gamepass.

@Ricky-Spanish difference being sony exclusives sell consoles, the only reason ms started up gamepass was because their console was failing ,for years devs and gamers alike have been saying gamepass isn't a viable solution, that's why its full of indie games,they want to get some instant money and rely on ps sales to make up the shortfall, and xbox first party because ms has made their bed with gamepass first day releases, if it was sustainable they wouldn't be releasing their games on ps, you only have to look at pure xbox comments section, they always ask is it on gamepass or I'll wait for gamepass , they simply don't buy games, as time goes on you will see less big hitters on there , it will just be ms first party and the deluge of copy cat indie garbage , its full of those now.

Gave it a 10 , its superb , kind of wish they would have made getting vehicles a bit harder ,and the fact you can fast travel to most deliveries ,makes them kind of obsolete,im on chapter 7 with 38hrs , the atmosphere is superb , like all the characters but I think fragile is dodgy 😂

@UltimateOtaku91 I think this is a good move by sony, give xbox players a taste , you know helldivers 3 will be a ps6 exclusive , of course you will get those that just stay with xbox for game pass, but the majority of gamers will move to ps , i mean why not , will you want some of the games, or all of the games 😁

All MP games should be multiplatform at launch regardless of who owns the IP, it makes for a healthier community , they need some halo collaborations though 😁

I loved second son , that special move he does , jumps high into the air, does a backflip , smirks to the camera and decimates whoever was on the ground , it was like a marvel film before marvel films , geat stuff.

Can we stop putting our fingers in our ears and going la la la la trying to pretend points in history and people didn't exist, it makes a mockery of the people that lived and died through it.

I quite like AI, I think its a marvelous thing and will improve every single year, I dont like the idea that it will replace anyone's living,but some of the creatures created with it are really imaginative, its only a matter of time before a full movie is created with ai, with regards to the alters its a great game and this was a bit of an oversight , but they're an indie dev and ai probably helped them keep costs down, in that case I'm all for it, just don't be sloppy next time.

Predictably ill be playing death stranding 2 , the improvement in gameplay and graphics, reminds me of the difference between kcd and kcd2 , its a superb game , those watchers are creepy as hell , they remind me of a film but I cant remember what it was.

@dimi I didn't even finish the first one , completely different game this, makes the first one seem like a work in progress,its fantastic , ive been gaming for decades , and its one of the best games I've ever played.

Far more accessible than the first game, more action , quicker access to vehicles , its just superb, and those graphics 👌

@SeaDaVie given the choice ,Id rather it be ninja theory if I'm honest , spare everyone a sequel to hellblade , 'Hellblade 3 Senua Watches Some Paint Dry' i loved south of midnight and would love a sequel ,I felt the ending was rushed though, with to many loose ends probably a budget issue.
