@Fartingale the fact the story is weak shouldn't bring a game down in score , the devs even said before release it isnt a narrative driven game and it isnt an rpg , and then reviewers had problems with the story, maybe they should look for another career , because theyre not very good at this one 😂😂 what are the wtf moments ?
@itsfoz youtubers are calling out these terrible reviews for what they are, ive been gaming for over 40 years i like to think i know what im talking about, ive been involved in numerous communitys for various games , even ran a few , written a few reviews myself over those decades ,and never have i seen so many reviews being so wrong about a game , its ridiculous, makes you kind of think there's some sort of agenda against eastern devs, absolute joke,
@KundaliniRising333 they dont give a ***** , makes me so angry, stories like this , life is ***** as it is most of the time ,with slight glimmers of yeah this is ok , maybe they're helping out with this but give the guy his f*ckin job back, his day to day life at work probably took his mind off this bollocks, so annoyed.
Poor fella , my mate had the same thing, I know hes not gonna read this comment from a nobhead on push square, but i send prayers if thats any good , my mate still going but he has problems from all the surgery's , horrible thing to go through.
@VeganH you've just said it yourself 36k players on steam not ps , with 1.2 million sales and 70 percent of those sales on pc thats over 800k of pc players who actually own the game, and thats over 760k of pc players not playing marathon, thats really bad.
@Exerion76 yeah its got far better combat than yotei, 4 enemies at once in yotei, crimson desert laughs in the face of that, try 200 , its just a better game all round in my opinion, yoteis world is bland by comparison.
@Andy22385 pointless debating someone who hasn't experienced what you are debating, anyway nearly 5 million copies sold..5 million people have bought a broken game it seems , not wishlisted but bought.
@Silenos sounds a bit racist doesnt it , i have never known a gaming website to try and justify there scores for a game based off patches to make the game better , its just hit piece after hit piece , or little digs in the articles about patches , patches in a massive open world game who would've thought 🙄 im sure gta6 will have bugs and fps issues at launch, but I guarantee it wont be mentioned as much as this, total loss of credibility.
@Andy22385 yeah same , I had two bugs and a frame drop that lasted a few seconds , it was bad and I dont know why it did it but its never happened again, also i had the map crash and also kliff got stuck head first in a river 😂 i just teleported and that fixed it , i had more frame drops and crashes with the witcher 3 to be honest, remember the swamp and its 5fps , ign seem to be on a mission to ridicule and criticise crimson desert at every opportunity, every patch they put up a new article to try and justify there score and reasons for it , theyre getting destroyed by various youtubers though, which i find hilarious.
@dskatter the core of the game hasn't changed if that didn't appeal to you before then it wont now , the game wasn't broken at launch it wasn't cyberpunk , these are more quality of life improvements than game fixing , like the door opening for example , its great the devs have this level of communication with fans , more studios should take note.
@datamonkey south of midnight is great, it needed extra content for its story ,there was a few loose ends , i loved it , and the music is phenomenal, one of my favourite games from last year , the combat isnt hard and quite repetitive but there's some great boss battles , the story is great and really kind of sad in some cases , I wanted more of a closure with some though...benjys theme 😢
I'll be playing crimson desert there's a castle ive seen in the distance that im determined to get to without getting sidetracked, then split fiction with a friend of mine who's really bad at games, its a mixture of hilarity and anger , "just jump, look down, look down, shoot , shoot, oh my god,go slowly, slowly , jump jump dash ,jump , jesus christ" 😂
So is everyone gonna buy a pro before its not far off a grand , how much is the ps6 gonna be for heavens sake , imagine kids at xmas asking there parents for that, jesus
@charliecarrot aces of thunder looks fantastic, but i know Id end up ill after 30 min 😂 I love vr its a whole different gaming experience, but sometimes it doesnt love me, im ok walking about ,resi 7 is probably one of the greatest experiences ive ever had,oh and madison good god that games scary, im a big grown man and I had to turn it off 😂 I wish sony would support it more ,its a great medium.
@SEVENTEENSOILS it was inside the hospital at the beginning of the game, i have completed it, my mate was having a go last night and I noticed it , wasn't there before or at launch without the patch that took away RT in various areas, across the top and down the left hand side , it looked like blurry screen tearing, it wasn't constant ,but off putting enough to know it wasn't there before.
@Fiendish-Beaver well hes only played 45hrs of it so I guess he wouldnt have a clue , I played kcd2 for 230hrs I feel this could go well into the 300 mark , I feel its one of those games where you dont stop playing for weeks and then a new game comes along so you leave off it for a bit , but then you go back , like skyrim or kcd , only problem with crimson desert is feel if you left it for a couple of weeks you'd have to start again because you'd forget all the controls , there is lots and lots of controls and lots of mechanics.
@captainsandman but the story isnt the game, the game is the story , its about exploration , discovering mysteries , solving puzzles , coming across a boss whos only objective is to be awesome , sure you can finish the story in 45 hrs, you can level up some skills , and see 20 percent what the game has to offer , skyrim one of the greatest open world adventure games ever made , beloved by millions, judged purely on its story, its a 6 out of 10, if elden ring was judged by its story it would be a 2.
@Scottyy there's plenty of lore to discover , you get your usually fetch quests like all open worlds , some of the side quests are great though , and like all great open world games the best stories are the ones you make yourself.
@themaladroit I have never had this game drop to 20fps what a load of nonsense , if it did it as often as the review states youtube would be full of videos of the pro version doing so , funnily enough there isnt , its the dynamic lighting that causes the graphical issues he speaks of , it was also in the pro version of yotei with its jaggy indoor shadows sometimes , weirdly nobody really mentioned those.
@Skippermonkey yeah me to mate im crap at souls games , but ive been ok at this , prepare for every boss , cook loads of food , always pick up Palmer pills they let you resurrect with 30 percent health , level up your equipment and youll be fine
@IOI ive just seen that Robert spent just 45hrs in the game , i know its his job and all that , but ive got about 36hrs and not even left the first area , in a game of this size and scope only 45hrs is a bit ridiculous
@ShogunRok so you went through just the story and didn't go on any adventures , I guess you missed 90 percent of the game, from the comments of people who are playing the game ,40 hrs seems to be the average time of people still in hernand
@KundaliniRising333 ive just accepted that not everyone can see its brilliance , I find it interesting that a lot of 'professional' reviewers are scoring it low, and yet those that have played it give it a 9 or that elusive 10 , i think its just to big a task for gaming websites , they want to get reviews out pretty quickly and crimson desert doesnt really offer that privilege, its gigantic , with feature after feature after feature , i just started the camp recently and was taken aback at how detailed it is , trade routes, camp renovation, sending out your comrades on missions, loved how you put the cursor over the map and it zooms into that area with a minature version npcs milling about, thats usually only seen in a strategy game.

@wildcat_kickz how can a game be called niche if its genre dwarfs single player games, that doesnt make sense

@Mikeg1965 ive never played it, its an online fps whats niche about it ?

Re: 'We're in It for the Long Haul': Bungie Rejects Rumours It Could Move on from Marathon After Unremarkable PS5 Sales
@GamingGod 90 million ps5 owners...no its pathetic , and with 70 percent of sales on pc it seems ps players dont want this tripe
