Preordered the deluxe edition and I never preorder ,I haven't been looking forward to a game this much for years and years , I will be very disappointed if its a steaming turd.

So if you buy the physical version of jurrasic park would that be worth some money as I presume theyll be making no more copies

@Colour they want a world wide launch, everybody gets to play at the same time,i suspect it has something to do with fact that some people have the game early but they've implemented a lock on it until your countries release date , probably to much hassle to unlock it at different times for everyone , rockstar should do this to stop spoilers.

@PaperAlien to factions have a fight , one faction is separated or dead, its up to you to bring everyone together again as they are scattered across the land , there's also the mysterious abyss thats causing chaos across the land , why it is and what it is i have no clue

@LowDefAl who would trust more the makers of the game or a trusted tech channel like DF known for there in depth analysis, the game might change slightly i have a feeling the enemies on bug hill that was shown might be reduced to improve fps , other than that I doubt there will be any drastic changes , the god awful screen tearing was still there with v sync enabled in this build, so I dont think theyre trying to hide anything.

@pyrrhic_victory 2 other characters a big orc with an axe and machine gun, and a stellar blade style woman with a sword and rifle , these characters can be used to do side missions and explore the open world but not story missions , they also have there own specific mounts, kliff has a dragon, the orc a jet pack and its not been revealed what the woman has ,however there is a screenshot of the character select screen , with 2 more empty slots , are there other characters, maybe , maybe not.

@Lup not really , it looks no harder than the usual , manipulation puzzles by the looks of it ,move blocks to open a door, use skills to unlock a path , for example there was a tower you had to enter , blocking the way was vines, you could either shoot a fire arrow at them to burn them away , or think outside the box, your sword has the ability to reflect light from the sun, usually used to blind opponents , however you can also use it to start fires , like a magnifying glass, so use that to burn away the vines , its multiple ways to solve puzzles that was one of the reasons,I was sold on the game

I've ate nothing but crimson desert over the last two months , and i feel its going to be something special , I love exploring so it looks like the game for me , also it has a god damn jet pack ,im going to be a medieval iron man, i feel ign will give it a 6 though 😂

@Skippermonkey better weapons, armour and skills will be your friend , also there are legendary weapons which will make mincemeat of most enemies.

@RedRiot193 but youll be downloading it on pc , whats the difference , it wont fit on a single disc so you need to download the rest , I really dont see the issue, you've cancelled your order for ps5 because you have to download some of the game once , but youll download all of the game on pc , sounds a bit mental that.

@gamer153 I dont get why having to download a 30/40gb update would deter you from buying a game that youre interested in , the whole game cant fit on the disc so an update is required , what exactly are you waiting to see for ?

@OldGamer999 from what i understand its a toggle to enable pssr2 in the settings,it'll be a upgrade at system level
, once turned on all games that use pssr will automatically use pssr2 , thats what I heard, I dont know how it works , probably some sort of magic 😁

@nessisonett it was probably planned to add it i doubt they just woke up and thought oh no we've no pirate protection, its just that theyve only just decided to announce it , a week of pc man babies is better than a month of them.

@Eek132 well theyre knackered then , the game disc will probably hold 100gb of data , but the game on ps5 is reportedly 120-150gb so they will need to download the rest , its the 21st century if you dont have Internet, id give the ps5 a miss, and besides I doubt they know crimson desert exists

Good grief , no its just the machine is the most powerful console and with pssr2 its even more so , DF have numerous videos about why pssr2 is a game changer, they also did an interview with Mark cerny last year , maybe give them a watch , propaganda , seriously, maybe sell that xbox and put it towards a pro.

@Dogbreath most rpgs you dont play as your own character , and you can change the characters look , hairstyles , clothing etc , fantasy and steampunk aesthetics have been a thing for decades , skyrim for example has dragons , trolls,giant spiders etc it also has big gold robots.

Great game , i stopped playing it as im waiting for pssr2, the graphics are a million times better than the new film, anybody seen it ? It's got sfx that make sharknado look good, i remember Christopher gans film brotherhood of the wolf ,fantastic film , what happened Chris

Just 14 seconds , why not longer clearly something is going on , why cant they just show longer footage, i dont care if its not finished and it needs more work , i want at least half the game shown , in fact i want a full walkthrough, shady practice this.

@Rich33 from what I've seen RT is crucial to the atmosphere of crimson desert especially night time scenes, the lighting is superb and its all down to ray tracing , i understand what you mean though , dying light 2 has ray tracing thats pointless in my opinion , I feel the series s version is going to look like complete dog sh*t , if you want 60fps 720p with no RT its going to look bad , quality mode on the pro seems its going to look like what we've seen of the pc version albeit at 30fps , depends how severe the difference is between that and balanced,will depend how im going to play

@trev666 apparently the engine is designed to use RT its how it works , they had to remove it for series s as it just wouldnt work, probably similar to the work they had to do with baldurs gate 3 and black myth
