Star Wars Outlaws "looks" like an amazing single player game. Hoping for some more gameplay footage or a demo.
Dropping a demo usually means the developer is very confident in their game.

@Ephexis83 I'm 20 hours into Prey so far on my PS5 and it plays perfectly fine.

I'm about halfway through Prey and Its a fantastic game. This is what Starfield should have been and Prey was released on May 04, 2017

team ninja games are too difficult for my skill level, that is the main thing that worries me about Rise of the Ronin

@Nem I will give Darksiders 3 a try though.
I would recommend you try Desperados III that game offers a different gaming experience and I was hooked playing that for over a week.

there are a few winners but the success rate is low.

skip the PS5 Pro and improve in other areas like a better battery in the dualsense controller and some more 1st party games.

Playing Wolfenstein: The Old Blood - I really enjoyed the first game which I played for the first time about a month ago. Definitely going to play Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Wolfenstein: Youngblood soon.

2024 looks to be the worst year so far on PS5.

@BaldBelper78 Maybe Xbox have bought all the studios to starve PlayStation with intent of drowning out the console industry and pushing everyone across to play on PC in the future. Who knows in five years time everyone could be playing on a laptop or a mini pc powered by an arm processor and PlayStation might just end up as a studio.

Hopefully the second half of the year will look better for PlayStation fans! The good times have to return soon?

I am an AC fan, but Valhalla made me quit playing after about 3-4 hours.

I really like the Horizon games.
I am worried that these live service games will ruin the franchise despite the outcome of there success or failure.

I hope they don't put another hack-n-slash or beat-em-up game in the PS Plus Essential next month.

Why do they always make a very short trailer with no gameplay.
This formula only works if your making a sequel to a multi-million selling AAA game.

I never played Max Payne 1&2 but I am eagerly waiting for the Remake

Playing God of War (2018) this week.
I really like the graphics and the great story so far. The character/equipment upgrades is also really well thought out.
The only part I am not enjoying is the hack and slash, does the combat get better in God of War Ragnarök?

People will search for what they want and then type the word "PS5" at the beginning or end of that game title they are searching for. Most of the others will go straight to the PS Store.

If you own a PlayStation and you want a digital game for your console you can only purchase it from one place, so why would Sony pay Google to bump them up any search results?

I think they need a new game. The only game I like from the line up on their website is Aliens Isolation and that's an old game now.

MS are setting up for the future they have lost interest in console sales. SteamOS is what they will want to build.
Portabale PC's are getting popular and the eventual move of all PC games from x86/64 to the ARM platform will end consoles probably in the next decade.

Don't like or want to try any of those 3 games. Hopefully they add better stuff to the PS extra catalogue. 🤞

They should have made a new game about one of the other superheroes like.... "Superman" and made it a single player open world story with side quests involving a villain like a previous game that sold well.... "Batman Arkham".
I know big companies want to build a gold mine to fill their pockets, but publishers are wrecking their brands reputation by switching to make live service games.

I am playing this game for the first time in 2024 on PS5. This is an excellent game considering it's 10 years old. The storyline is very good, the gameplay is great and I'm definitely looking forward to playing Wolfenstein 2.

Here is another suggestion to stop seeing content about games. To "unfollow" games on your PS5:
Go to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings > Followed Games > Manage Followed Games.
Unfollow a game, it will show the Undo option.
Press Circle button to go back to the Settings menu.
Enter again "Manage Followed Games"

A Plague Tale: Requiem is very similar to the first title but with better graphics. Looking forward to playing Evil West I hope its good. Well done Sony some AA games which is actually what people want from PS Plus.

That is excellent news!!! I am so glad they are dropping multiplayer games and continuing ALL their focus on single player playstattion exclusives. Naughty Dog are excellent at making sngle player games.

PlayStation and Xbox are the current equivalent of BLU-RAY and HD-DVD and Disney know how that panned out.

@Mythologue Starfield is average in my opinion I stopped playing it after 3 hours. It felt very dated.

Can you stream all the PS5 games in the PS plus catalogue now?
The streaming service would be quite useful if all the PS plus catalogue game are available so I can try out games for 20 mins without having to download 30-100gb games and then delete them 20 mins later if I don't like them.

I wish the digital games on the PS store had better prices and discounts, this is what they desperately need to improve.
If physical games and a disk drive are scrapped in the next gen. PS6 loads more members will disappear, because the prices on the PS store are a rip off (after the initial release price).

If AAA single player Sony games stop being made OR there starts to be massive time gaps between releases. This will literally be GAME OVER for my PlayStation days.

Before the announcement I was really looking forward to this RDR1 release hoping it would be similar to GTA5 release on PS5.
I pre-orered GTA5 (PS5 version) in March 2022 for £8.75 from PS Store.
