Just received mine today from Amazon Germany which I was able to order on Thursday during the second wave of consoles. Digital edition working great. Love the new controller.
@JohnKarnes lol Sony will release a Game Pass style service for PlayStation. No matter how old and blunt you are. Those who want it will use it and those who are old and blunt can ignore it.
@Rob_230 Am pretty sure the executives at Microsoft did research if releasing games day one on the service was worth it. I think they know what they are doing.
@Gamer83 Microsoft is not going to let their newly purchased studios be independent and put their games on PlayStation. Sony would not have let the studios be independent either, why should Microsoft? 🤣
@SuperSaeko PC is fine for some people if you want to sit at a desk or have a big PC hooked up in the living room which for many people is not an option. Consoles sell great due to their convenience and they are usually placed in the living room with a big tv.
@Bloodklot It does not matter. It’s all Xbox. They are choices for people. Some will go with a console, others a PC and some with Game Streaming. In the end, it expands the Xbox Ecosystem.
lol All these games will be exclusive on Xbox and PC. Microsoft maybe would bring something to a Nintendo console but that’s it. I don’t think any titles will be released on PlayStation after the current deals are complete.
@AJDarkstar Microsoft just bought a bunch of studios lately. I don’t think they will be closing down studios like they did before. This is a new Xbox leadership.
@Valhalla91 Microsoft does not care where you play the games, as long it’s in the Xbox Ecosystem which includes Xbox, PCs and mobile devices running Gamepass.
@nookie_egg Yes, that’s nothing new. You get 10 hours for new EA games but eventually those games end up on the service months later without any limits.
@JohnKarnes and the monthly fee you mention includes access to 100 plus games including all Microsoft titles. If you spend 60 bucks on a game every month, you are paying 720 bucks a year. So Game Pass is not a bad deal.
@JohnKarnes You are not well informed about Xbox Game Pass. There is no 10 hour limit on any game title including Microsoft 1st party games on Game Pass.
@BNAG_Gamer You do know that Xbox Game Pass includes every first party game from Microsoft on day one, right? And Xbox Series S/X are next gen consoles. What makes them less next generation than the PS5?
@Dezzy70 lol You do know PC games have been doing this for years, right? You can play a game on a low end PC on low settings and high settings on a more powerful machine. Xbox Series S and X will do fine adjusting to the power in each box.
@AdamNovice Yes, You don’t own the games but how many people actually play the same game again after it’s completed? Am guessing for most, it’s like Netflix. You can try out games you never thought of purchasing and if you like it, you still have the option to buy it.

Re: Sony on PS5's Response to Game Pass: There Is News to Come, But Not Today

Re: Reaction: Why Hasn't PS5's Price and Release Date Been Revealed Yet?

Re: Soapbox: After the Vita's Failure, Why Do People Now Want Console Games on the Go?

Re: Sony, Why the Heck Have You Moved the PS4's PlayStation Store Icon?
But I also preferred the old location.
Re: Sony, Why the Heck Have You Moved the PS4's PlayStation Store Icon?
Sony should have placed it to the right of "What's New" this way it does not get in the way.
Re: NiGHTS into Dreams Makes PSN Dreams Come True
