@8bit4Life ps1 had tons of jrpg games by this time better selection then the snes era..

microsoft destroys game companies it buys..

sony owns guerrilla games how could they possible abandon the ps5?

halfway through it's cycle means we will support the ps5 for the next 5 years at least it has nothing to do with next gen hardware which will come out late 2027..nintendo said the exact same thing about switch 1 a few years ago or maybe even a year ago and they brought out their next gen console..

@ShadowRJ the fact that it is a japan centered state of play leaves me more excited if it was a north american state of play

probably a lot of samurai ninja games and a few rpg will be shown looking forward to it..

exclusives sell systems bond is clearly clueless.. why would anyone buy a switch if it was not for console exclusives...nintendo more then any other system depends on console exclusives to sell consoles and games..

i have a lot more confidence in a horizon movie then in a zelda movie because sony makes good movies..

majority of ps game sales are digital japan only counts physical games..

it is doing better then tsushima if you consider how video game sales were augmented due to the pandemic

7 years is long enough time for new console..

@GreenyD sony makes great games just not enough of them..due to the long development cycles of these games..

a ps console always come out between 6 or 7 years so we can guess when the ps6 will come out some time in late 2027 or early 2028.

@SeaDaVie semantics more digital games are a bigger piece of the pie these days then in 2020 plus people already forget the effects of the pandemic which boosted games sales by crazy numbers because everyone stayed home.

famitsu gave splatoon 3 a 39/40 score and we know on metacritic is it only a 83 score..

i played seven when it first came out it was the longest rpg game i ever played..

@nessisonett switch 2 is very expensive for what you get..

switch 2 is clearly overpriced compared to the ps5.

odd until recently the ps5 cost the same as switch 2..

ps5 is already getting to be outdated by current standards in a few years a new console will be needed to meet the challenge of games that are pushing technology..

a guy who could not optimize last 2 final fantasy games for the ps5. why is he talking about the ps6 maybe 3 years when it suppose to come out?

prices will eventually come down or level out in time when the tariffs wars are over and the world economies get better especially in europe and japan which are struggling at the moment.

@8bitOG i have a very nice pc but i have played only one game on it i am a console gamer..pc gamers and console gamers are not the same..

there no need for a new iphone or ipad.. etc etc etc..progress will continue whether people like it or not..

@LifeGirl a gaming pc will cost more then double what the ps6 will cost and it could cost even more than that..

remaster or remake the other suikoden games..

@somnambulance gta 6 will easily dominate game sales next year no one will come even close..
