resident evil like final fantasy is going to sell better on the ps then on the switch because the series has been away from nintendo platforms for so long the newer generation has to get use to playing these games.

i guess it will not be push square ps5 game of the year after all lol not that it was ever going to be it in the first place..

whenever a game review is delayed it is because it will suck on metacritic..

so the story not great but technically very good..

this is what future nintendo games will look like yuk..

@KillerIsD34D 80-90% of the sales are from the ps5 and pc..

even before they changed their strategy nintendo got more exclusive games from square enix then even sony got..

sony saved squaresoft at the time from a certain bankruptcy after the disaster of there anime the spirits within sony purchased 19% of squaresoft and provided the company much needed capital which allowed square and enix to merge.sony eventually sold it's stake in square-enix in2014 to a brokerage firm.

xbox must have paid them because no way it makes any sense to release this game on xbox and not on the ps i thought square-enix was no longer interested in those deals..

sony does not have to respond they know xbox is no longer a competitor for them..

it will be between 1000-1500 dollars and second if the rumors are right it wont be able to play new ps games i cant imagine a lot of people will buy this device..

not surprised at the sales number considering the resident evil franchise like final fantasy will sell more on the ps then on the switch because its been on the ps5 for a lot longer then on the switch a lot of newer switch gamers have to discover these series and are new to experiencing them..

pc gamers lament is music to my ears..

xbox fans are in tears at this news..

bluepoint loss was greatly exaggerated..

i do not see sony decision as disgraceful this is a business after all..

@StitchJones sony has dedicated customers and a loyal fanbase they are the apple of video games..

if they are going to be so missed then some other big company like nintendo or xbox would hire them right?

after being acquired by sony in 2021 bluepoint did not make any new game or remake nothing to show for in more then 4 plus years and people are upset at this news?

when 3 trillion dollar company microsoft closes a studio you get a few protests but when sony closes a studio it is like the end of the world.. it is a business and about results...

i thought most gamers hated remasters and remakes now we are upset at bluepoint demise i find that odd..

@J-Dubs cant compare naughty dog to bluepoint much more valuable..

so many of sony companies have not produced a game in years it is not worth keeping them on the payroll without results this is a business after all..

this is a side project not a mainline god of war game and all it's glory.

it is nice to have the option to sell physical games for whatever reason you have to you cant sell digital games.

sentimentality is for old gamers it is about attracting new gamers i am all for a god of war 2018 style remake for the greek trilogy.

it is all about how expensive gaming has become that people do not want to see a new ps anytime soon..

what kind of remake will it be a remake of some scenes or a full blown remake new actors for all the parts?

even xbox youtubers are praising sony for this state of play wow did not expect that..

even rgt who does not like sony said this showcase was unbelievable that is praise indeed from the switch/xbox youtuber..

god of war trilogy remake did not expect that..

@Judal27 if you like dead cells you will love the new castlevania game..

you had the excellent konami presentation new kena game new john wick game will be fun the marvel fighting game and a remake not a remaster of the greek trilogy in which fans have been wanting for a long time.

fantastic state of play even though that cartoonish love fest for god of war was amateurish at best at the end.

the terrible performance is the reason for the lower score.have to wait for patches to fix the issues..

i suppose sony no longer uses showcase in their presentation only state of play..

should this not a be a sony showcase if it is 60 minutes and not a state of play.

due to the delay of the ps6 to 2029-2030 it is possible the ps5 tops the ps2 in console sales when it is all said and done..

@Reyzore we shall see how rebirth and the third game run on switch 2 sony still has the power advantage to run games at 60 fps while many third party switch 2 games will be stuck at 30 fps..

without sony intervention squaresoft at the time would have gone bankrupt without sony purchasing 19% of squaresoft and bailing them out.

@Reyzore they still will get every capcom and square game that comes out for switch 2.

ps5 version will outsell the switch version of this game.

kingdom hearts 4 is using unreal engine 5..

judge has been the best player in baseball since 2022 not even ohtani could match judge..

i always thought final fantasy 2 nes was the worst final fantasy game..
