Note that when we talk about leaks and spoilers e.g. in the case of GTA etc, it’s worth remembering that websites and YouTube channels are posting full guides for games before I’ve even got to work on launch day, let alone got home from work, done all my jobs, cooked tea, sat down and even booted up the game.
This is why I say I couldn’t care less about hackers supposedly ruining games like TLoU 2 or GTA, because what hope in hell does anyone with a life or a job have of ever booting up a game, or completing a game, before the full details are splashed over the entire Internet by the industry themselves.
@Dogbreath if you have a 'life' then you've no need to worry about spoilers on the internet, so don't fret about it. Easily avoided.
@TheDarts interesting that you consider “having a life” as being incompatible with being enthusiastic about video games.
Whereas I consider “having a life” to mean having time constraints like a job and other responsibilities, that means it can take a week or more to finish a game.
Essentially, you are suggesting that your fellow gamers and forum users are no-life losers for being interested in video games.
Whereas I am simply saying that not all of them are able to finish a game by 8 am on launch day, by which time all the major websites have plastered the web in spoilers, despite having self righteously been running articles about hackers spoiling games a week earlier.
It is possible, to simultaneously care about games being spoiled, whilst not having time to beat the game before the most prolific spoilers on the Internet (the Games media) ruin the game for you.
@Dogbreath "Essentially, you are suggesting that your fellow gamers and forum users are no-life losers for being interested in video games."
Strawman at its finest.
@Dogbreath Did you try NOT reading the guide? Its not like its plastered all over the internet, hell even the GTA leak you had to really search for.
„I need a week to finish a game so anyone who needs less doesn’t have a life”
Ready to Rip through Wolverine when I get back from work
@species it’s more in your face than the GTA leaks were, and that was only snippets of the game. I’ve not seen a single piece of leaked material for GTA.
Yet all the big gaming sites had full walkthroughs blasted into your face, top story on their homepage by the time I woke up on launch day for this game and practically every other game.
Funny how everyone was soiling their underwear and bedsheets about the GTA “spoilers”, yet will happily white knight for the media publishing complete walk-throughs at 6 am on launch day.
I’m not saying don’t do it, I’m just saying stop being raging hypocrites.
@Dogbreath Think its about the same, all gaming media covered pretty much everything about the GTA leaks, short of actually posting the videos. Not out of a goodness of their heart, more because they didnt want Rockstar go to after them.
I see your hypocrisy point, but still think you're making a big deal out of it. Personally I ignore guides altogether, especially for games that have "100% Walkthrough Guide" as a core game mechanic.
@Dogbreath I suggested nothing. You did all the suggesting talking about 'having a life' being part of whatever point you were making. I merely pointed out that it's perfectly easy to avoid spoilers if you don't put yourself in a position of finding them where they can be expected. No-one can make you read guides.
Strange discourse here.... surely if you don't want to be spoilt, then just don't click on the link?
*EDIT - My only real bugbear is when article titles contain spoilers/leaks etc.... but as long as those elements are held back to form part of the article/video then surely not an issue?
@TheDarts @Dogbreath @species I just came for a laugh about Wolverine and instead, you're all just sounding off in your own echo chamber here. Just don't read guides that will clearly contain spoilers?
@underthegun ummm that's why I said. Welcome to the echo-chamber 😁

@underthegun That is also what i said. Looks like you took your own advice to the extreme and didnt read the comments youre replying to.
Those thinking the game doesn't need a guide 100% haven't played it. Sure it's not difficult, but you miss a bit on your first go.
Marvel’s Wolverine - where you don’t find collectibles, they find you.
Be careful, the game might complete itself while you read the guide! 😅
Looks like he's constipated
Actually handy for the plat, as some of the later maps do open up a bit and some of the crates and whiskey bottles are missable.
I feel like there are a lot of comments from people on here who have not played the game.
