Re: Talking Point: Are We Starting to Expect Too Much from PlayStation Plus?

jmburks

I think playstation plus is a huge bargain especialy if you own a vita. The deals are good on the ps4 too but there is just not very many games out yet and the ones that are out are still to new to be given away for free. For the Vita though i love it! i have a huge backlog of games to play on the vita and it's because they give away so many quality titles and often times the ones that arent free are discounted. I have yet to pay full price for a vita game to date and i have owned one for about 7 months now.

@alphadrago5 you make a good point but dont forget the ps2 sold like 150 million or somthing like that, so there are deffintely enough gamers to but 100 million ps4's. it's possible but i dont see it happening in 6 years, i see it more like a 100 million over the lifespan of the ps4 so more like 8-9 years. will see though!

I dont think the Vita will ever die just because the people who do own one love them. As long as they keep making games for it it will be fine for a long time. I just dont see Sony making future version. i think the Vita will be the last handheld that Sony makes. Like i said previously i plan on playing my Vita until the thing dies. i love it.

@luyourck

I think you make really good points and i agree with all of that but the thing is, i'm already a Vita owner. the problem the Vita is having is selling to people who dont know what it is. they dont do enough to promote it. The people who already have a VIta see all of these great things and love their vita for it but its a matter of getting new buyers to get one.

Re: Review: OlliOlli (PlayStation Network - Vita)

The first hour i spent playing this game i was half tempted to throw my Vita against the wall. Two hours in and i'm in love with this game. Once i got the controls down it became extremely addicting. Its the type of game that makes me want to keep replaying it so i can get the best score and gets my heart racing when i land a huge string of combos. This is my new favorite game for the Vita. I love it!

I can see Sony deciding not to make another handheld in the future. I think the handheld is a dying market with how good tablets and phones are getting with games. with that being said, i love my Vita and i'll play until it dies. It is definitely one of those systems that you dont really appreciate unitl you own it but once you own it you love it. I have a huge baglog of games to play thanks to ps+ so i will be playing my vita for a long time to come. Especially if the keep up with the indy games. i cant wait to get some time with olliolli!
