You’ll need to set aside 24GB of hard drive space on your PlayStation 4 in order to contain Sucker Punch’s intricate recreation of Seattle. The number was revealed courtesy of PlayStation France’s community coordinator PixelTux, who posted upcoming exclusive inFAMOUS: Second Son’s final box art to the brand’s official forums, before Tweeting a close-up of its system requirements.
While this news may have you moaning like former protagonist Cole MacGrath, remember that Sony’s latest super machine deals with most data transfer delays while you play, meaning that you’ll likely only be waiting a few seconds before popping the disc into your device. In a way, it’s a bit of a shame – we kind of miss the days of developers creating cool little installation animations.

Not too bad considering the amount of GB Killzone took up.
As long as it doesn't need a 13gb patch
Wish they would Release this early as Im going to be very busy end March- April. Digital early release SuckerPunch?
Why would you want to wait a few seconds BEFORE putting your disc in? Install can't start without a disc hm? Anyways im going fully digital and I assume it will be a short install before I can start playing while the rest downloads in the background. Worked perfectly with Killzone Shadowfall!
This is great compared to Shadowfall! Only one more month before I can get into another inFamous story!! =D
PSN: iSillyBoi Judas
So they release Infamous with France cover... Guess I better order in my Country to get English cover
Huh, definitely not as large as I though it would be. Doesn't Knack take up 30 something GB? Ridiculous. lol
@DrJoeystein Yeah, Knack is about 35 Gb so this just fine.
Wow, I expected it to take more.
Very PC to have installer art : ) I feel ripped off having to buy the strategy guides separately now, btw. $25 on Amazon for most isn't bad. I stupidly got the F:NV "collector's edition" hardback (from the vanilla box set I guess) for $40 thinking it would cover the dlc but no. -_-
Oh well it's finally time to get a big ol hdd for our babies
Sorry for the stupid question here but if i download it digitaly will it take up the same amount of space as if i were to buy the actuall disc and install it or is the digital download more space since it doesnt have the disc?
@jmburks I believe it's the same size.
