@Jrs1 It's fantastic, I hope you like it. Sliding around over the landscapes popping arrows off is extremely satisfying - think Legolas from LoTR. It's up there with the traversal system of Insomniac's Spiderman games - I can give it no higher praise for that great sense of movement, flow and satisfaction.

I'd actually started the game 4.5 years ago... liked it but got distracted with other games etc and had only completed the first plateau. Finally got back to playing it a month or so ago and loved it, so much so once I beat the PS5 version I played through (and replatted) the PS4 version.

Once you power up and get new abilities it gets more and more fun. Flying up high gliding over the plateaus is stunning - my photo capture button was in overdrive. It's not perfect - it needs a map (they have this radar thing where objectives glow which is a cool idea but a bit flawed) and a couple of the boss fights are a bit janky, but everything else blew me away, especially the epic end battle!

Platted The Pathless only a few weeks ago and thought the traversal system was sublime. So fun and a wonderful game.
Incredibly excited for this!

Platted in under an hour (and that included going to make a cup of tea between rounds and watching the attract mode lol...)
So pleased to have an arcade perfect port of Ridge Racer after all these years.

Now how about my all time favourite PS1 Rage Racer on the Classics label eh Sony/Namco...!

Yeah pre-ordered it and was really excited to play it as I love racing games and the positive buzz around the game...
but I have to say compared to the more arcadey racing games I'm used to I'm finding the turning incredibly hard!
These things turn like a brick!
Still - persevering and will get more into it once I've finished off Indy.

Playing it and absolutely loving it. Brilliant!
Actually wasn't what I was expecting, and I would have preferred 3rd person, but now I've acclimatised to what it actually is I have to say I'm thoroughly enthralled by it and can't wait to play more this weekend.

But what about trophies.... is there another new list to tempt people in cos that's what's really gonna get some people triple dipping!

DAMN. I really hope this comes out for PS5. Been wanting an arcade perfect port of Ridge for bloody yonks.
(I'll have to just get out my PSX copy and play that... as well as some Rage Racer...)

I'd previously hit the limit which came as a surprise.
For me I often wait for games to come down in price and putting them on my wishlist is useful not only to see if there's a price reduction but also so I don't forget about them!
So may games out there the wishlist is a useful way to mark games I might want to play one day.

This really reminds me of what videogames were like in the 90s - and personally for me so much more fun and better for it.

@PuppetMaster Yes I wondered the same thing - was it tested on PS4 and as there's no mention of it presume it works fine on it? Odd and rather obvious omission!

Indiana Jones on PS5 elevates it to Excellent for me. A few other curiosities but not much else for me so without Indy merely Okay!

Insta buy for me - loved this on Switch and get me some sweet trophies along the way!

Loved Days Gone. Rough around the edges but FUN and the hordes were just great. Real shame the team wasn't allowed to continue the story and push their skills in the same way Naughty Dog did with UC and then UC2. Looking forward to their next game.

I can never chose between 2 and 4 (love em both, 2 sides of same coin for me) and feel this list is spot on!
I would argue the story in 3 was all over the place and had some real holes but more than made up for with the insane set pieces.
Hoping Sony announce the long rumoured new UC game soon...

Hmmmm. No premade tracks is a deal breaker for me. I don't have time to make stuff - I just want to play. Wonder if you can access and play uploaded tracks the community have made? I also wonder why they didn't bother to make any themselves.
Shame as it looks like it could be good and scratch that Micro Machines itch.

Gimme gimme gimme. I really hope the bigger franchises come over. Granted not day 1 but if they turn up eventually I'll be happy. The ones they've released so far and the rumoured possible releases aren't really my cup of tea but there are plenty of others which are.

How about Sunset Overdrive whilst they're at it? An older game and they don't own the IP anymore so why not cash in on it? It's the Insomniac game that got away and one I'd love to play!

@get2sammyb Yeah that was my immediate thought as well - otherwise why use that specific image with the headset Seems like we'll never get it on PS5 now which is v disappointing.

This article is spot on - most of those games don't speak to me and the lack of showing anything from ND, SP or BP is disappointing if par for course from recent shows. I actually like the fact they aren't showing stuff too soon - but the length of time we're having to wait for any sort of reveal is incredibly long!
Not to say there won't be other games coming out which I will want to play, but very little in there got me excited.

I'm getting this. Loved the look of it from the first reveal. I agree the shadow drop wasn't a good idea and from the sounds of it needs some more TLC. But definitely one I'll pick up down the road.

Hopefully this means a Resistance rerelease collection is on the way - Resistance 3 was one of the best shooters on PS3.

@Vil Yeah good call - loved CMI. I suspect this one is far harder to do due to all the hand drawn animation in there - far more elaborate than previous games. But if they're doing it for the Broken Sword games then maybe it's possible for this...?!

Sign me up for the other ones - DOTT in particular is one of my all time favourites.

Fantastic. Been waiting for this - first game was good and heard great things about the second. Discovered this series after John Linneman had this on his Best Games of 2022 List.
