Gameplay looks fun, albeit very much like Mario+Rabbids, but yeah, that chibi character model style is just hideous.

9/10. Loved it so much, but it did feel on the shorter side and some of the graphical presentation in cutscenes is downright disappointing. Still, can't recommend it enough.

I'm playing it and loving it, the city certainly looks beautiful. However, some of the character models in the cutscenes look downright terrible. They're usually the genetic goons and whatnot, but it feels like that's where Insomniac cut the biggest corners.

Looks fun but my god, the chibi character models are an eyesore.

Good lord, some of you need to cheer up. If you don't like it, it's not that big of a deal.

My answer is always RDR2, but in this case it's got to be FF7.

I'd go 10/10 as well. It's amazing what a well-crafted world and story this is, just an absurd amount of detail everywhere you turn.

That's a damn shame, hope they land on their feet.

So slapping a college skin on Madden is progressing? Cool.

@Ichiban Same here. I'm roughly 15 hours in and while I'm largely enjoying it, I don't think it's particularly spectacular outside of the Eikon set piece fights. It's good in a number of areas but I'm not sure I'd call the total package great.

I love these games so much but the one thing I loved most is the cartoon-y nature without dipping into real life. Not so sure about the real-life players but I'm sure this is another gem.

The first two games were among the very few open worlds that never felt tedious traversing imo. Looking forward to even more.

I don't think I've ever seen a game more beautiful.

It looks pretty rough around the edges but there are enough elements there to keep my attention.

I have some 25 hours into it and I feel like excellent is a pretty generous appraisal, though these are good fixes.

Just an unbelievable series overall, hats off to the people who made this technical marvel.

Absolutely playing it, can't think of another series that looks better and the world is so easy to get lost in.

I don't really love the direction this series is going in but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't impressed by this presentation. It's certainly impressive. My biggest worry is that I don't be nearly skilled enough to pull off even half the maneuvers showcased yesterday.

The mind palace from the tv show was one of the most hilariously nonsensical things I've seen on tv in a long time, hoping this is equally as silly.

I love baseball dearly but there's no way you could convince me to pay full price for this game.

As a massive fan of Sunless Sea, I've been incredibly excited for this one. Glad it's getting such good reviews.

This looks fantastic! Only gripe is not being able to fully pause time but that's okay.

To me this game has been a 10/10 so far, I'd love it if they kept the series going.

Eh, I've seen enough to assume that if it's anything like HFW it's high quality and more than good enough for me.

It's a 10 for me and comfortably so. I haven't come across anything that I've disliked.

My goodness, the art style is incredible.

This looks really well-made by a talented team who cares about putting a high quality product out there, but to me it's just not Final Fantasy. I get the direction of the series is shifting and I'll probably get this at some point, but everything I see about this game just screams Devil May Cry instead, which isn't a bad thing but still.

Oh yes, now this looks like a proper time sink.

I'm not too bothered since I think the game is still a technical marvel, I'm just surprised that a game that has a strong case for GOAT status was simply abandoned by its devs like this. It's not even that old.

I mean, the price point, okay visuals and some shoddy dialogue probably didn't help.

@Fight_Teza_Fight This reply might not be helpful as it's not a PS game, but Out of the Park is a brilliant game in the same vein as FM if you haven't tried it yet.

@Ralizah I'm perfectly okay with that tbh. Having to forge through endless long-winded conversations of team members commenting on every little thing they encounter together in RPGs is beyond exhausting at this point.
