Re: Why Is Everyone Acting So Weird About PS5 Game Mixtape?

Zuljaras

@RoomWithaMoose I too agree to an extent with you.

The waste argument however is also personal responsibility. Some places are cleaner than others and only the people are to blame.

But being bothered by people insulting your game, book, hobby or movie is just wrong. That is why I said that we need thicker skin. People are offended by anything nowadays and it is a big problem at least in my view.

It is like me getting angry and start spitting and foaming because someone start insulting Castlevania (which is the best thing ever created in video games BTW! )

If people start praising their hobbies and interests instead of arguing with others who do not like them, we will create a better threads, comment sections or forums.

But I see more users here using the same old buzzwords to hurl insults in a general direction just to show some kind of "moral superiority" which is really sad.

Re: Why Is Everyone Acting So Weird About PS5 Game Mixtape?

Zuljaras

@RoomWithaMoose I get that but if people want to enjoy something they can just do that.

The internet is platform to all kinds of people. Most of them are negative because people are negative by nature.

If someone is feeling bad because they read words online maybe the problem lies in the person's mind. Having thicker skin is good and more people should try to toughen up.

I am can bring another analogy, spoilers. People cry that they see spoilers online but refuse to stop using channels that can bring up spoilers.

So we try to stop the spoilers (which is impossible just like creating a positive bubble) or we learn how to avoid them and stop crying?

Re: Why Is Everyone Acting So Weird About PS5 Game Mixtape?

Zuljaras

@get2sammyb Would you prefer algorithms that favor toxic positivity? You know the ones that create bubbles of positivity that has nothing to do with reality.

Maybe negativity is favored because it is our reality and everyone is negative about something all the time?

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 632

Zuljaras

@TheArt At the end it really is meaningless. I just finished the main story and I did not even get a proper ending. I have to do CHORES in order to get the full story? Nope, the game ended with the last main quest ... now I will move on to more enjoyable games.

On the other hand I am struggling with RDR2 because of the terrible controls. I have to power through it I guess.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 632

Zuljaras

I am really struggling with Assassin's Creed Valhalla ... 35 hours in and I am still on the main story. I just want it to stop but I think I am nearing the end. I have never seen a game so bloated. At this point I just want to see the credits ... Origins and Odyssey were so damn enjoyable. This is too much! At the end I will probably be generous and give it 5/10!

Now on the more enjoyable things to play! Heroes of Might and Magic The Olden Era (early access) It is a good game. Not better than HoMM 3 as some of the units in the factions are too generic for me, but still it is fun! And Early access means it will change according to the feedback!

And last but not least some Heretic + Hexen! Really love those games!!!

Happy gaming everyone!!!

Re: Assassin's Creed Fans Furious as Physical Copies of Black Flag's PS5 Remake Will Require Internet

Zuljaras

@belmont There is no play from disc since the PS4. We have to install to the console drive but it is ok because a playable build of the game NO matter how buggy is on the disc. This is the bare minimum I expect from those guys.

Also I do not know if you wait for the game to install or start playing it when you see the "... is now playable" and you play it while it still installs data on the console which is very slow!

I do not care about the physical preservation because I know that we will have it in the future by emulation or other means. I want a playable build of the game on the physical media. This is what is worth my money.

Re: PS5 Confirmed to Be Affected by Game Expiry Issue, Sony Still Silent on DRM Worries

Zuljaras

@Questionable_Duck I have a 360 and a Xbox One X but I only play the 360 nowadays.

The One X is so disappointing, especially after some firmware update they screwed up the screenshot taking feature.

It was already the most uncomfortable of all other consoles requiring a combination of actions unlike the dedicated button approach BUT now it does not take every screenshot I try to take. If I use it 5 times I get 2-3 screenshots.

Microsoft just can't be trusted to make anything good anymore on the console market.

And I can't forgive the Internet required to setup the console ...

Steam Deck > Xbox One + Series X

Re: PS5, PS4 Game Expiry DRM Concerns Escalate as Sony Remains Silent on Issue

Zuljaras

I noticed how DEEPLY consumers are worried about the finances of multibillion companies.

They clearly need ALL those DRM checks to even stay in business, poor little things!

UPDATE: Out of completely irrational fear I took out my disconnected PS4 Pro that was not turned on in more than 3 years and played some of my physical games ... how silly

Re: PS4 Game Expiry Timer Sparks DRM Concerns, Here's What We Know So Far

Zuljaras

@Sonofken I am sorry but I am trying to understand that "Euro PC" thing.

1. I really loathe Xbox as they are what is wrong with console gaming since the Xbox One. Their last good product was the Xbox 360 and to be more accurate their last iteration of it that fixed the overheating problems.

2. Euro PC trash can? Care to explain? I have a semi gaming laptop but I mainly game on my PS5, Steam Deck and Switch with the occasional retro gaming.

Re: PS4 Game Expiry Timer Sparks DRM Concerns, Here's What We Know So Far

Zuljaras

For me it is alarming that there are many gamers who are ready to give them a pass for that. I've read "If you do not have internet to renew your licence you have bigger problems".

I mean we all know it is NOT about Internet outage ... it is about anti-consumer practices and total control over the individual's purchases.

That is why I am 100% against forced server permissions to access the software you bought.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 630

Zuljaras

This weekend I am playing Bioshock Infinite (absolutely 10/10 game!) and I am trying something new, Steelrising!
I am taking a little break from Diablo 2!

On the side I will have GTA San Andreas! I just want to drive on the streets and wander around.

Happy gaming everyone!!!

Re: Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Is a Huge and 'Faithful' Remake of the Pirate Classic, Out on PS5 in July

Zuljaras

I will definitely pirate the game down the line Ubisoft really doubled down on the whole pirate experience

Those idiots just do not want to make a proper physical edition and release crap after crap ... the game is 65GB ... put the build on the damn disc or do not make one at all ... to be honest I would've liked it if they were honest and just release it digital only.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 629

Zuljaras

I have started a new fresh run of Diablo 2 Reign of the Warlock on the Steam Deck. Currently I only have a Sorceress that I rushed to Act 3 in Hell to farm LK for High Runes.

I will finally play and enjoy "I have no Mouth, and I must Scream" on a console Never finished the game but it is dark and amazing! All Point-And-Click adventure fans must play this!!!

Third, enjoy the chaos of Wolfenstein II on the Switch FULLY on the cartridge I wish they could do this to the Bioshock collection

Happy gaming everyone!!!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 628

Zuljaras

I decided to give Assassin's Creed Valhalla another try and I am 4 hours into a fresh start. My problem is that it feels really slow compared to Origins and Odyssey. The scenery is beautiful but the map is absolutely disgusting and bland. Origins and Odyssey both have beautiful maps that I love to look at.

On the Switch I will play the first Soul Reaver

And I wanted to remember the times when Pokemon was actually good and crafted with care so I am firing up an old save of Pokemon Black. Damn ... Violet and Scarlet ... what garbage games those are
I HOPE that Winds and Waves bring the series back!!!

Happy gaming everyone!!!

I got Infinite Ammo in Resident Evil Requiem ... so I am running around Requiem-ing everything in the game I got it by completing a run where I did not heal or blood craft(as Grace)!

On the side I have Infernax and Metroid Fusion that I have never finished, still stuck on the gravity abomination boss

Happy gaming everyone!

Re: Crimson Desert's Mandatory PS5 Update Sparks Debate About Games Which Break Street Date

Zuljaras

People, the simple fix is to turn off your internet, go live in the forest and stop talking to people. Done! You are safe from leaks and spoilers!

You do not need to live in constant fear anymore!

You are welcome!

PS: Digital only products also encourage the mentality of "Release now, fix later" and that is why we have so much buggy games. Also now, they do not require skilled devs. And the bigger spec do not help either as incompetent devs can just power trough their unoptimized mess and not care for fixes like ... ever. And with AI mixed in this we are in for gaming slop after slop. Enjoy the future

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 624

Zuljaras

Last week I beat RE8, RE4R and RE7. Now it is time for my LEAST favorite Remake of the series. It is a shame of how little they've put into this game It has its moments. Anyway I am about to go out of the RPD with Carlos.

On the side I made the amazing Resident Evil Village VR to work smoothly on my laptop and I am so happy!!!

And lastly a game I have not played in a long time! The Legend of Zelda The Skyward Sword HD. I might start it fresh as I have no memory of my previous play session

Happy gaming people!!!

Re: Hands On: Assassin's Creed Unity's PS5 Update Has Made Us Rethink That 5/10 Review

Zuljaras

This Christmas we went to Paris and after that I played Assassins Creed Unity because of the trip.

It was amazing experience! Visiting the same locations like IRL was awesome! Versailles, Notre Dame, Pantheon, Saint Chapelle, Van Dome, Louvre, Tuileries, Invalides ... This is without a doubt the MOST accurate setting of all Assassin's Creed games!

Probably because of that trip I loved the game so much!
