@Lavishturtle I do not understand the "appeal to modern audiences" because the "modern audiences" are just too small of a number to make a profit. After all it is all about making a profit Or is it about the Joker's way of sending a message?

I know the big companies have money to burn but it will eventually come to an end, we see many studios closing because of such financial "maneuvers".

This weekend I have decided to be ALL about Castlevania

There are many unbeaten CLASSICvanias by me so I will focus on that and if things get too hard, I will relax with the metroidvanias a little

Other than that, I will try to avoid mods that add greenery and stuff like that to Fallout 4. I prefer the wasteland vibes!

And for some traditional gaming I will enjoy Divinity Original Sin 2 and GRIME

@Flaming_Kaiser Sure it is bad. There are some game that are optimized so badly but still you have something functional in hand

@Northern_munkey Actually, on the top of my head the only games that I know of this crap are Hogwarts Legacy (ofc) and the latest Ubicrap titles - Star Wars Outlaws, Avatar, The 2 Jedi games and possibly Assassin's Creed Shadows. We are not counting games that require constant online connection like Diablo 4. (those are not even games, those are services )

I am trying to remember of other games that do not have the playable base game on the discs for PS5 (and couple of PS4) but that is it.

Isn't that hardly 6 titles and 1 of them is not even released?

So physical games are still in an "ok" state. That is why I am so frustrated at such releases.

A friendly advice for you, next time instead of trying to hurl petty insults, THINK before writing something. You will benefit from it

@Moj500 Then just release the game as a digital only title if you can't provide a playable physical copy. @Czar_Khastik is right, this just an expensive coaster.

@McTwist Yes, the physical edition for PS4 AND PS5 are useless right now.

I hope they make a proper physical edition where at least the base game is on the disc ... not just the intro ...

This weekend the main thing is The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom! It is fantastic!!!

I am also getting addicted to Majesty 2 again and I managed to run it on the Steam Deck!

And I still did not finish Half-Life 2 and Resident Evil 2 on the VR.

In HL2 I am about to escape Nova Prospect and in RE2 I am in the sewers with Leon

Definitely getting it and I am ashamed to say that I have never finished a single Silent Hill game (mostly played 1 and 4 for about an hour)

UNFORTUNATELY the delivery of Echoes of Wisdom is late, and I will get it probably on Monday I wanted it for tomorrow as it is the second half of my birthday present from my wife, the first one being the Meta Quest 3 :

Anyway, this weekend I will juggle between Resident Evil 2 Remake VR and Half-Life 2 VR. Those experiences are fantastic! And I love playing them in little bites! Instead of worrying about motion sickness, now I worry about Mr. X chasing me

I will also try Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon as I saw that it is hilarious!

And last but not least, The Last Faith A good mix of Blasphemous and Bloodborne

@get2sammyb it really is. I was so damn skeptical about it! Now I see how fun it is! There are communities that make wonders in VR.

First to the key, first to the egg!!!

This weekend will be exciting for me as I entered the world of VR, and my first experience was to find a way to conquer motion sickness And I can gladly say that now I can play with smooth movement without wanting to puke!

So, I am playing one of my favorite games EVER Half-Life 2 but in VR! I am about to enter the buggy section of the game! Short sessions in VR is the key to enjoyment!

In the meantime, I will continue with Resident Evil Village and Skyward Sword

@LikelySatan Never heard of Odallus, Lords of the Fallen did not grow on me and I have to try it again. As for Bloodstained RotN it is average at best for me. Curse of the Moon 1 and 2 are fantastic!!!

I play them regularly as a Castlevania zealot/fanatic and I will play them again ... and again ... ah yes! AND AGAIN!!!

I will have a nice relaxing gaming weekend with:
1. Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Horn of the Abyss on the Steam Deck

2. Machinarium - such a wonderful point and click adventure

3. Post game web swinging in Spider-Man 2!

@amatmulisha The game is big, but I think it is as long as DS1 without the DLC content.

After Darksiders 1 and I am steadily progressing in Darksiders 2! Currently on a hunt for dead lords that went rogue!

Short bursts of Baldur's Gate 3, still feels weird to play that game when I have played so little of 1 and 2.

More short bursts of Painkiller as I absolute LOVE the atmosphere of the levels!!!

And finally, just a small game time dedicated to Pokemon FireRed in memory of Rachael Lillis.

I have started the Darksiders franchise again, so Darksiders Warmastered edition is first. Currently I am in the Iron Canopy making my way to Silitha. My plan is to beat all 4 Darksiders games on the Switch

I will continue my last playthrough of Resident Evil Village, this time on the PS5.

And a little dash of retro nostalgia with Faxanadu on the NES. This is one of the best hidden gems in gaming

I will beat couple of bosses in one of my saves in Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow for the 1000th time It is Castlevania after all!

Amazing series! Each game has its + and -

The first one, however, is my absolute favorite!

I really would LOVE to play the game as I am HUGE HP fan ... BUT I promised to myself that if the game does NOT have a proper physical release, I will not touch it

I am once again thrown in the Souls pit. I started Dark Souls 1 again and I just beat Ornstein and Smough. Why are these games so damn good?!

The games I decided to play if master Miyazaki lets me are:
Pokemon HeartGold (Totodile is chosen and ready to destroy some gyms!),
Project Warlock AND after MANY delays the Claire A/Leon B run in Resident Evil 2 (N64)!

Yesterday I finally got Blasphemous 2 for the PS5. I already finished it on the Switch, but it is so good that I will 100% it on PS5 as well. The sculpture I made of the Penitent One completes my Collector's Edition

And on the side, I will play Kingdoms of Amalur, and I will start as a mage.

If there is time AND mood, I will continue my playthrough of Singularity which is a TRUE hidden gem! I highly recommend it!
