This doesn't even take into account all of the extra wallets that need to be produced for physical gamers to put all of their savings

The only issue with PS Plus Extra is finding the free time to play all of these great games

So Returnal is £10 cheaper than it's ever been on the PS Store.
And Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is on sale on Steam, but hasn't been on sale on the PS Store since 2023.

I wasn't actually talking about myself because I couldn't care less about PS Plus compensation, however, I do like to think of others less fortunate than myself. Maybe you have all the free time in the world, and for that I congratulate you, but some people may only have one free day per week. Therefore 5 days compensation may be of no use to them, depending on when their subscription expiry falls. But you can call them self entitled if it makes you happy

Probably should have been 7 days, that way you're guaranteed to get an extra weekend of PS Plus as compensation

@Fighting_Game_Loser It would be very interesting to see how something like Gravity Rush 2 performed now, if it was released in a fairly quiet period and marketed strongly

The big question is what will happen with digital pricing when Sony has complete monopoly. People just expect prices to remain the same, but big companies aren't usually happy to just keep making the same amount of profit

Strange seeing as I have 11 PS5 titles (plus another 8 PS4 titles) downloaded on my console, with nearly 100GB still to spare!

Sony are pushing towards an all digital future, and because they're such a consumer friendly company, I'm sure game prices will stay as they are, or even drop in price when there is no other way of getting your games. Luckily my backlog is so big that I can just stop buying games when that happens!

@__jamiie Hours played/length of time account open would be a pretty fair way to do it I'd imagine. With the amount of shovelware out there, you could probably get 100 platinums in a week fairly easily

Did anyone see much advertising for this game? Because I don't remember seeing much, and there's no way you send out a $400 million game without getting it seen everywhere first, surely?

I haven't played it yet, but ubisoft are the kings of the 7 or 8 out of 10 game. Every game I've played that's been made by them has moments that wowed me, genuine 10 out of 10 moments, but then those games also had boring, uninspiring gameplay sections that brings the overall experience down. Shame really, because the potential is there for something stunning I think

@UltimateOtaku91 I agree with you. I don't see why Sony can't release all kinds of different games, otherwise all we'll be left with is sequels and people complaining there's no innovation (not that Concord turned out to be innovative of course!)

There are plenty of people out there ready to buy games day 1, regardless of price. It's the same with sports tickets, music gigs etc. If people want it, they'll pay for it

This is a sign of things to come with Xbox gradually going downhill. No reason not to make a good profit on hardware when there's not much competition out there.

@riceNpea Don't think you can blame Tottenham. It was essentially sign up, or risk the super league going ahead and getting left behind. Maybe they should have seen it was destined to fail, but they were looking after their own interests, the same as everyone else does in football

Was this really necessary? Surely the people most interested in PS stars are some of the most loyal/biggest spending customers, and this is how you reward them? It's not a huge deal, but still seems greedy
