Sony has today updated the Last Chance to Play section of the PS Plus tab on PS5 to reveal what games will be leaving PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium in October 2026.

The following PS5, PS4 titles will leave the membership service on 20th October 2026:

Unlike the PS Plus Essential tier, where you gain access to the games for as long as you subscribe to the service after redeeming them, the PS Plus Extra tier revokes access once the titles depart. If you want to continue playing any of the above, you'll have to buy them after 20th October 2026.

PS Plus Extra, Premium Games Leaving October 2026 2

As a huge Silent Hill fan, I'm obviously going to strongly recommend you play Silent Hill 2 before it leaves the service. It's one of the best survival horror games of the past few years, and it marked a very, very strong return for the franchise at the time of its release. It's still excellent these few years later.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is another worthy playthrough even if you haven't played all the entries before it — this is the debut title for Ichiban Kasuga and represents a pretty good jumping-on point. The rest of the list is filled with games that appeal to a more acquired taste, but there are still some good experiences like Lake and Jurassic World Evolution 2 in there.

Will you move any of these games to the front of your backlog? Let us know in the comments below.
