@RoomWithaMoose

Can you site when he said he would limit free speech?

And how is it a cop out when I just don’t want to go back and forth? I mean I’m a grown man, I just don’t like wasting my time with arguing with someone who is closed off to their opinion.
I stated that you and i can disagree and I’m fine with that. And that’s weird ? Ok🤷🏾‍♂️

Re: PlayStation Joins Social Media Shift as Bluesky Rockets in Popularity

T-Bone09

@RoomWithaMoose

Look I’m not going tit for tat. It’s ok if you disagree with me and we can move on. I mean I’m not going to die because you don’t agree with me.
What I mentioned were things that would cause harm to someone. Those things would not be classified as free speech. A true threat can be prosecuted by law.

Voicing your beliefs and opinions are considered free speech. I mean just because you don’t agree with me I’m not going to silence you.. that’s your right and that’s fine. That’s what I’m referring to.

But I don’t want to waste my day going back and forth with this. Have a good day and we can like PlayStation stuff and be fine. That’s normal to have disagreeing discussions and still be civil.

Re: PlayStation Joins Social Media Shift as Bluesky Rockets in Popularity

T-Bone09

@RoomWithaMoose
Lol oh my.. you’re really digging to say that. I think threats are not considered a protected act. Someone can obviously sue and win in court. That’s the categories I’m referring to. I’m not censoring anything. I’m just stating what is protected and what’s not. To cause harm is not a protected right. But I guess if you want to play dumb I won’t stop you.

Re: PlayStation Joins Social Media Shift as Bluesky Rockets in Popularity

@RoomWithaMoose

You’re reading too much into something. Never said I admired Musk. I just find it funny how he is a problem now since he has backed a different candidate. I mean people will try to cancel Joe Rogan next.. it’s crazy.

And yes social media does have first amendment rights it was ruled by the Supreme Court. I mean of course if there is someone participating in incitement, defamation, fraud, obscenity, fighting words, and threats.. those actions aren’t protected.

Re: Ubisoft FPS XDefiant Shutting Down, Not Accepting New Players

T-Bone09

I have a love hate relationship with COD. I played this game a little bit and it was ok but it’s hard to beat Call of Duty movement. If someone just made a DMZ mission based/ PVP shooter I would pay top dollar for that. I have met so many friends who have played it and hate that they’re not bringing it back.

I wish Ubisoft could get back to their ps2/xbox and PS3/360 era swag. Because the games I played from them recently just feel unfinished.

Re: PlayStation Joins Social Media Shift as Bluesky Rockets in Popularity

T-Bone09

It’s crazy how Elon gets brought up in this lol. He bought it and wanted to protect free speech and so he did. I thought that’s the point of social media. Not having the media silenced by deleting stories about a laptop just for starters or pushing one sided views.. Now he’s a problem lol.
Hopefully this new one would remain nuetral in that aspect.

Re: PS5 Disc Drive Stock Still a Source of Intense Irritation for Many

T-Bone09

The games that I wait for are the ones that I buy from the store. I usually save the space for the games in the PlayStation catalog or if it’s a discounted game I’d get digital.

Their excuse for not having one on the Pro was the expense. Saying that a lot of companies don’t make them anymore. I think it will be a mistake if they make the next console all digital with the disc drive sold separately.

Re: Feature: Why Would Sony Want to Buy Kadokawa?

T-Bone09

Well maybe Sony doesn’t have to buy Bandai Namco now. I knew that was rumored but didn’t happen. Even though they were one of the biggest publishers in gaming. I’m glad that Sony doesn’t go the route that Microsoft did and try to monopolize the gaming market but rather make deals and encourage business partnerships.
If it does have something to do with FromSoftware..

Re: MMO Sequel ArcheAge 2 Renamed ArcheAge Chronicles, Coming to PS5 in 2025

T-Bone09

I haven’t played the first, but it kind of reminds me of Guild Wars. Can someone tell me how it was? Being a Korean Developer I’m sure that some of the past devs may worked at NCSoft. This is nice looking to be honest. I hope it is good as its revealed to be.
NCSoft is supposed to be working with Sony on a game or two. I’m also curious to see what they will be.

Re: In Case You Missed It, PS5 Pro Has a 2TB SSD Included

T-Bone09

I was trying to figure out how much storage that had. Thanks for putting this up because I couldn’t find it anywhere.
I’ll be getting one even though $700 is still a lot of money these days. My PS5 was stolen while on vacation so I was trying to hold out and see how much this was going to be. I’ll be getting this and an $80 disk drive I guess if the scalpers don’t try to ruin it again. I’m going to be broke by this, and the pulse earbuds I’ve been wanting to get. Plus one to get a new iPhone and my daughter wants a new iPhone. I guess I’ll have to work some more OT.

Re: 'PlayStation's Blessed with Marketing Budgets We're Not Able to Enjoy,' Xbox Bigwig Bemoans

T-Bone09

This guy is just complaining. He is on the other side of success and he is trying to make it make sense.
Xbox has been around 2001-2002.
That’s over 22 years of marketing for Xbox. There was a time when Xbox had momentum and that was during the early and midway through the 360’s life cycle.
That guy may have not been there to experience that but they gave Sony a run for their money. Even over here in the US Microsoft had all the major sponsorships in entertainment. EA sports was big and sporting events had Xbox everywhere.. etc.

Just maybe Xbox got complacent and when Sony was behind they never let up. They learned and they adapted. Creating partnerships and friendships with developers is also better than just buying up a big percentage of the market.
Sony and Microsoft just done things differently. Sony’s way just seems long term and Microsoft’s way was hurry let’s buy a big piece of the pie to catch up.
End results so far. Xbox GamePass still not seeing massive adaptation that they predicted and currently seeing price increases with less day one content for their mid tier subscription service, and making what they promised on a top tier pay wall.

So about funding for Europe.. they really need to reevaluate their console and streaming service moving forward as a whole. Maybe just maybe they will turn things around but throwing money to Europe with their current situation is really just a waste.

Re: Xbox Really Wasn't Happy with PlayStation's Call of Duty Marketing Deal

T-Bone09

I love how he acts like he is a saint when it comes to gamers. He literally defined slimy. PS3/360 era.. Microsoft’s tactics were nothing but slimy. Call of Duty timed exclusive MP maps. EA marketing rights, trying to buy Media Molecule out from underneath Sony when Sony was building a friendship with..

I mean they are pioneers of slimy business tact’s and here lately buying up the market laying off a huge amount of the devs of the developers you bought. I mean even slime is green after Microsoft.

Making game companies scale back their multiplat games because they want to make a cheaper and less powerful system.. not a fan of him

Re: Latest State of Play Is One of the Worst-Received PS5 Shows Yet

T-Bone09

I really don’t understand why people keep calling it a showcase when it was just a state of Play. everyone needs to relax. There is more to be shown at summer gamefest. More PlayStation studio games will be announced. And by the way, I thought the state of play was pretty decent. I was hoping for more from Concord other than a hero shooter, but we will see how it turns out when he gets here. I’m confident in the dev team they have. Just wait before you cast an opinion on it.
Other than that, I was glad to see Dynasty Warriors origins and more VR games that were very much needed.

It was a decent amount of content that was probably shown more of obligation to their audience, but they have a bigger show coming next week or so at the Summer Gamefest.

Re: Timed PS5 Exclusive Final Fantasy 16 Is Almost Ready for Primetime on PC

T-Bone09

Glad that pc players are getting go to play this wonderful made game. The hate for this game is eye rolling. It was a very well put together story and I beat it again when the dlc was released.. I hope it sells well that way they might consider more dlc or I wish they would make a sequel but I know what they said in the past about it. All in all I enjoyed this action rpg style game. Maybe one more open world would be nice.

Re: Rumour: Next Ghost Recon Game Is a Realistic, Tactical First-Person Shooter

T-Bone09

Well good, I hope it returns to its roots. I remember staying up overnight with my friend playing GRAW on his 360. Don’t really know what direction they went with the last two.
But what they should do is make a third person mode and a first person mode. That way people who are traditionalist would enjoy third person. I will do both.
I really want them to make an extraction based mode to play. If they take anything from MW make a DMZ mode.. Call of Duty abandoned it

Re: Xbox Fans Petitioning for Helldivers 2 to Launch on Xbox

T-Bone09

I’m glad HD2 is doing so good and I’m happy that the studio is getting the recognition it deserves for putting out an incredible fun game.. but I hope we can solve this server issue and infinite quick play search for game..
Would using different server providers help? Like Amazon servers? I don’t know how true it is but I’m assuming these are Microsoft Azure servers, would buying more servers help the game or maybe using different ones?

Also I don’t care if Xbox gamers get to play this game as long as the servers are doing right. I have friends I would like to play this game who just own Xbox. People are getting tired of battle royale type of play with friends. And this is a nice change for once.

Re: Microsoft Exec on Helldivers 2: I'm Not Sure Who It Helps By Not Being on Xbox

T-Bone09

@Deityjester
I was just stating Microsoft as a whole.. just stating ways they were making things not good for gamers.. you’ve seen the emails they wanted to buy the industry from Sony.. now they are dead last. In Europe, being outside 4 to 1, altogether over 2 to 1.

And Starfield was in development on PS5.. although Microsoft owns the rights now. It was canceled. Helldivers 2 was published by Sony and never was in development on Xbox.. Sony owns the rights to the game.. two very different scenarios.. “so how does it benefit players “ Spencer asked.. it seems awful hypocritical..

Re: Microsoft Exec on Helldivers 2: I'm Not Sure Who It Helps By Not Being on Xbox

T-Bone09

I’ve been an avid gamer since the mid 90’s.. but I was into gaming news since the ps2 era.. when the 360 came out.. they were buying exclusive rights for Call of Duty DLC, making games come out first for 360 then later on ps3, EA marketing deals with Xbox logo on every EA commercial..
So in saying that.. they lost their grip on the market and now playing this equalizer in gaming.. when they are the ones buying studios up and making games that were planned to be coming out for PS5 to be shelved..

I don’t buy into this.. they are deceptive as a whole company..
Sony bought Bungie and didn’t make their games exclusive.
Only games that are made exclusive from companies that Sony bought were new IP’s from company’s that no one has heard of.

Re: Starfield, Indiana Jones Aren't Coming to PS5 Just Yet

T-Bone09

There not getting the game pass memberships they are needing by 2030.. So of course they got to generate money beyond Xbox, it’s not selling in Europe real well and really only market they have is America.
They act as if they want to be seen as the mutual party that wants to collaborate with competitors.. All they did was cancel games coming to PS5 already and bring them back later in time and say look at what I did..
I don’t really have a need for Xbox, only thing Microsoft has done is make a headache for gamers.

You can tell they had practiced their lines real well. I guess they were trying to get a lot internet buz so people will talk about them again.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Helldivers 2?

T-Bone09

9/10
I love the game, but I am getting stuck through walls and getting disconnected from missions that I almost completed several times.. it’s exhausting.
Then not getting xp after I complete missions. If they can fix this and I know they are.. I will be grateful.

Also they should add a jump button, and maybe an automatic reload. Vehicles would be nice in the future.

Re: Sony Predicts Slide in PS5 Sales with No Major Existing IPs Planned Before March 2025

T-Bone09

So does existing titles mean no games? How can you compare this to Xbox? I’ve seen Xbox go year over year with only 1 or 2 titles releasing. It doesn’t conclude to no games but simply nothing that was already released for ps5 coming out before March 2025.

Existing titles like Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon, Gran Turismo.. these are existing titles.

As mentioned Concord is supposed to be releasing this year. And from what I’ve read it I can’t wait to play. Fairgames also new title looking to play. Helldivers 2 has been a lot of fun. Still have 3-4 third party games that are coming out in the next few months.

Re: Ubisoft CEO Defends Skull and Bones Premium $70 Pricetag, Insists It's 'AAAA' Quality

T-Bone09

I kind of feel pity for Ubisoft because they produced good games in the PS2 and PS3 era. Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Etc..
I am willing to give this game a chance but $70 is way too much.. if it was a MMO with some sandbox type of gameplay joining crews and all that it might to me be worth a shot.
I want to give Ubisoft the benefit of the doubt and hope they can get demonstrate their love in the game. I’m also looking forward to StarWars Outlaws..
If Ubisoft don’t pull off as they promise they may be some mass layoffs coming from them.

Re: Xbox Has Allegedly Insisted It Won't Stop Making Consoles, As PS5 Port Rumours Mount

T-Bone09

I’m assuming Microsoft will come out with a streaming device as their base model to help move gamepass subscriptions and a high end next gen console as their performance model.
We will see how it works.. but this just an assumption.

I know physical software for them seems to be not a proiority and having retail stores like Walmart to stop selling Xbox games, if true, then it seems to fit a digital only future for them.

Re: Developer Raven Apologises for Busted Call of Duty: Warzone Update, Explains What Went Wrong

T-Bone09

I have not bought MW3 even though I put countless hours in MW2.. I have so many friends that play but I was really letdown that will DMZ did not get an update along with Warzone. On top of that, they charge you $70 for the game that is basically DLC.

Trust me, if there was a game that was as even remotely as fun as DMZ. I would buy it in a heart beat. I’m begging Sony to please remake Socom and create an extraction based game with mission based objectives while you’re fighting PvP. There is a big void here.. I would literally pay money for a kick starter like this.. just saying.

Re: Helldivers 2 Has Gone Gold, Ready to Fight Back the Alien Hordes on PS5, PC

T-Bone09

@AdamNovice Your right, it may have been a story I’ve read and I’ve thought it already happened. I believe Alex Smith on X (Twitter) said that they, Arrowhead Games, were internally part of PlayStation Studios. Not saying that’s a 100% but it wasn’t the first time I’ve heard of it. And yes it would have been a good for Sony in my opinion.

Re: Talking Point: What Do You Want from Sony and PlayStation in 2024?

T-Bone09

There was some fond memories made with Sony’s games and to be honest I’ve think we had a bigger first party famine than we had after the ps3 launched. What really makes PlayStation so great are its first party games.. always has been and always will.

Socom would be a needed shooter and maybe make an fps option to help counter Call of Duty. An extraction team based game with missions would be so much with other teams fighting you. Like DMZ.

A Warhawk remake. One of the my all time favorite games was the PS3 title. Not Starhawk.. even though the build and battle was fun. There is a big hole missing and it sure is this game.

A proper Resistance reboot would be nice sometime down the line.

But for something close.. please.. I want to see a Ghost of Tsushima 2.. that series has become one of my all time favorites.

Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Wins Big in PS Blog Awards, Including PS5 Game of the Year

T-Bone09

Did they not enjoy FF16? I really enjoyed the story line.. It could’ve been made a series from that alone. I replayed it with the DLC and finished doing all the side quest. It was a well rounded game. I was just surprised that SpiderMan2 got all the attention in almost every category.
Now don’t get me wrong, I did like SM2 and I bought it twice. One for me and one for my nephew. It was and still is a good game. But when I played certain titles I really got wrapped in the story and emerged in it. Like Ghost of Tsushima even Days Gone. I thought SM2 did really well too but maybe since it’s a well known comic and I watched all the movies I’m not really surprised to find out the outcome. I really liked it but I don’t see it being all those things they’ve mentioned in my opinion.

Re: Rumour: Call of Duty 2025 Will Return to a Near-Future Setting in Sequel to Black Ops 2

T-Bone09

I’m not trying to troll but I sure hope Sony brings back SOCOM.. I have been thinking about that today, it would be another contender in the shooter genre. There is so much they can do with it. I’m kind of getting tired of Call of Duty.. love the friends I made while playing. But I think Sony can do a good extraction type of game similar to DMZ with missions and other players being potential enemies.. I know Sony has a lot of multiplayer games in development which look fun.. I’ve only heard good about Concord and HellDivers 2 but I would really enjoy some classic Socom with some modern updates or have a classic mode and battle royale type of mode; or my favorite some type of DMZ extraction type of game with maybe a fps option.

Re: PS Plus Extra Loses 9 Great PS5, PS4 Games Next Month

T-Bone09

@Northern_munkey

Reason why I asked was because the monthly games that I played stayed.. like my daughter and I play HotWheels Unleashed together and it’s stayed as long as I had it on my library. They should allow you to keep it if you had it installed instead of taking it away since your paying for that feature anyways..

Re: If It Wasn't Obvious, The Elder Scrolls 6 Will Skip PlayStation

T-Bone09

@Friendly

To each his own opinion. The development cycle does suck these days.. my favorite era was on my ps3 07’ upward when games were being released and you had to hold off on getting games because they were so many coming out at the same time. Now it’s not like that. We had God of War late last year, FF16 this year, Spider-Man 2 this fall.. and some new titles in 2024.
Microsoft has confessed the same thing. Development time is on average 4 years per studio.

About marketing deals.. that’s what you said was called business. Sony is the leader in market share and majority of multiplat games are sold on ps5 other than PC.
Back in PS3/360 era Microsoft did all the marketing rights. They had the Xbox emblem after every EA commercial especially EA sports. They had timed exclusive content to Call of Duty.. they had also paid to keep certain games exclusive or time exclusive. This was Microsoft’s business model.
It’s just last gen Microsoft was forcing players into their design of entertainment. That’s what made the Xbox One do so horribly. Sony listened to consumers and that’s why PS4 did so well.. I guess we can agree to disagree because I do believe Sony does try to find new ideas and new developers like venturing in Chinese development.

And Sony does help with development and other 3rd party studios like the team of Callisto Protocol. They used Sony’s motion capture and their cinematics.. now I know that game got bombed by some critics. But the part that I’m seeing is Sony does try to help devs and wanting them succeed.
I may see more than some others because I look at gaming news very frequent.

But I do agree the dev cycle is so long and also so much more expensive.
I did hate the demise of Japan Studio but I do think most of the people that worked there are involved with the team that created Astrobot and are working on a new game.

Every current dev team at Sony are working on new games and or that one dev they have working on ps3 and ps2 games for their premium subscription which at the time is a waste of money in my opinion.

Re: If It Wasn't Obvious, The Elder Scrolls 6 Will Skip PlayStation

T-Bone09

@Friendly

I had a GameCube too and I loved it. But Activision had the rights to the IP and when there was a falling out Marvel Games went to Microsoft and Sony. Microsoft turned it down due to working on a project at the time. And Sony took a chance on it and it turned out great. That’s what makes Sony different. It wasn’t just another spider man game with the story from the movie. It was completely original.
Xbox has had good games that they haven’t ever touched again. They had that Panzer dragon game from the original. Lost Odyssey, Crackdown, that Rome game on the Xbox One.. plenty of titles that could be made.
I just don’t like the part of buying IP’s that have been well enjoyed on current multiple platforms and making them exclusive.
This is what puts a bad taste in people’s mouths.

When Sony bought Bungie they agreed that they weren’t going to stop multiplatform games. That’s the reason why Microsoft did not buy them years ago.
Now I know Sony wants exclusive games and it does for their consumer to broaden their gaming experience. But if you look it’s new titles.. it’s new dev teams they have recently acquired with new games.

Re: If It Wasn't Obvious, The Elder Scrolls 6 Will Skip PlayStation

T-Bone09

@Friendly

Microsoft turned down the IP. Insomniac took over and made the game for PS4. They did not make Spiderman for Xbox. Insomniac only made one game for the Xbox 360 and it was Sunset Overdrive.

Your argument is clouded by your delusion.😅
But you clearly have too much time on your hands. Good night

Re: If It Wasn't Obvious, The Elder Scrolls 6 Will Skip PlayStation

T-Bone09

@Friendly

Yea of course it was the movie games. Like the PS2 version of the spider man movie in the early 2000’s. I mean we can go back to the original PlayStation days too.

But this is different. If you remember Microsoft turned down the offer with Marvel to create a SpiderMan game Marvel Games split from Activision. So this is different.. like I said.

Re: If It Wasn't Obvious, The Elder Scrolls 6 Will Skip PlayStation

T-Bone09

Microsoft doesn’t want exclusives.. it’s because of Sony!
Buys two big publishers and make the biggest RPG game exclusive.
What a joke Microsoft.. most of the Elder Scroll console players were on PlayStation..
You said Starfield was exclusive because it didn’t have a base on another console. But you’ve always been conniving.

I hope Sony responds with 2k and Square. Before money hungry Microsoft monopolizes the industry
