Re: TV Show Review: The Last Of Us (HBO) Episode 3 - Television At Its Finest

Yeah, I think adding characters, introducing them at the wrong points in the story and removing really good death scenes because the character was popular with non-comic fans. Really started to kill it early as you stated.
Also, the mismanagement and poor writing for some characters cough*Andrea*cough, also didn't help. Making Negan's war last too long so they had to kill off a main character early as the actor got a little tired of the filming schedules, lots of things contributed to it's steady decline. But I can see why you'd say that season one might have started it.

It entered pre-production in 2010, this is when the scripts, quests and locations were probably created and it entered production two or three years later when Todd decided to move the studio on from Skyrim (apparently).
So, I'd imagine that the location was created in 2010 (probably before Lost aired) and by the time it went to the development teams, it was still there.

The problem is that the PS5 can run the Last of us Remastered. So why not just Market that? Rather than making a £70 remake that isn't actually needed when they haven't released the TLoU2 MP mode yet and they are now talking about moving on from TLoU, and then say about a potential part 3. Part 3 should have been getting worked on alongside Factions, really. Not a remake that isn't needed.

I'm not saying they aren't capable of sometimes getting things right. But more often than not, the films and shows that win something have an agenda to them, rather than them voting for the actual best shows as the public normally view them.

It's actors like Leonardo Di Caprio I feel sorry for, does some amazing films and wins nothing, then wins one for a poor adaptation of one of my favourite books. Not even he could save that script.

But as I say, everything is open to opinion. Like I said before, I can disagree with you, but it doesn't mean you're wrong, as we're talking about opinions and not facts.

Just because a bunch of random people selected to be a panel selects something for an award, doesn't mean everyone should automatically like it. So, yes, in the realms of forming opinions, awards mean squat.
Otherwise everyone in the world would have the same opinion and then it'd be bloody boring.
Example, I like Russel T Davis' stuff. My friend doesn't, doesn't mean her opinion is less valid than mine and I don't feel the need to defend him to her.
