Trouble is, it was well known that the GRRM is a VERY slow writer. All the books released since have had another writer helping him finish it or he just sticks his name on it with theirs.
They decided to go ahead and adapt the books, knowing they'd probably catch him up before he released Winds of Winter and yet were somehow surprised they'd run out of source. HBO didn't play it very smart. They decided to do the ending of the show differently to how GRRM is planning the books so he could finish them without spoilers for the readers, yet he's still not bothered by finishing it lol.

It helps that there is source material for House of the Dragon. GoT run out of it because they never thought the books should be finished first.

It's no where near Rocksteady's Batman titles. The storyline is interesting enough, but the gameplay tries to be both a step up from Arkham games whilst simultaneously trying to be them and it suffers for it.

I once beat three copies at once, with a dualsense, dancemat and playing with an Xbox controller with my little toe.

@Uromastryx clearly not, as you'd know that the signs aren't the most important part of the combat, but a cog of how the game is played. If you rely solely on signs, of course you'll have a bad time.

Again, that's your opinion, I enjoy the game, and I don't particularly care if others don't, but it is in no way as rubbish as you make it.

@brazzios_84 play quite a lot of open world games and each one has it's upsides and downsides, even when the combat is good.
Matter of opinion, you can't get the hang of the combat, doesn't mean it's a bad game.

Signs each have different jobs, and damage different enemies. Igni (which is what you meant) does Damage over time. Aard (especially when upgraded) does huge damage and can even knock enemies off cliffs. Yrden is for slowing down (and when upgraded) damaging spectral entities.
The use of the correct oils does extra damage to the specific type of monster you're fighting.
It sounds more like you don't understand the combat system, more than it is horrible to use.

Combat is great on this game. Witcher 2's combat was worse, you had to guess what monster might appear as you couldn't use potions and oils mid-combat

The enhanced edition is the current gen version of the standard edition.
The difference is that you get premium skins, where as the standard edition gets you just the game and costs £10 less.

I liked the open world games until Valhalla, they made that map way too big and barren, even the collectibles and small little details are too far apart.

Maximum Security is brutal early on. But I'd not say it's unfair. It's a pretty standard hard mode to be honest. Combat is a lot different from what you normally have in these types of games which is probably why people are finding it unfair.

Pre ordered it. Enjoyed what I played. Saving it for playing in the dark later.

It deserved to do better than that. I had so much fun doing the platinum.
