As a healthcare worker, that works as a member of a team with other like minded individuals, the thought of calling out of work for something like this is insanity. If you applied this level of dedication to your job, you would be in a position where calling out of work to play a video game would never BEGIN to sound like a good idea. This is wild to me.

Cult of the Lamb has been on my radar for quite some time. Just never pulled the trigger on it. This is great news for me!

Hogwarts Legacy is my fav. However, the speed at which they sold out made me sad.

As we all know, since Skull and Bones came out, Ubisoft is the only studio making AAAA games now, so this price seems fair…

I’ve been fortunate enough to not have to spend any time in a “slum”, but if I did, I can’t imagine I’d be seeing a whole lot of laptops. Internet access might be a little hard to come by, as well.

I haven’t played this game in YEARS, but at one point it was my most played game. My roommate and I would play for hours on end. At one point we were pretty high on the nationally ranked leaderboards. If I had spent as much time learning to play an actual guitar as I did playing this game, I might actually know how to play a real guitar.😂😂😂

I might catch some flack for this, being a video game website, and this scene not appearing in the game, but…that “Long Long Time” episode was amazing. It was perfectly crafted. Showed that there were still beautiful things to be found in an ugly world. I’m a sucker for a good love story, and this one was GREAT.

I’m a MASSIVE Star Wars fan, and played Odyssey & Valhalla for, literally, hundreds of hours. That being said…this game has zero appeal to me. The gameplay footage I’ve seen just doesn’t look…fun.

@Old-Red If the result of a subjective (and, in the grand scheme of things, meaningless) video game top ten list is “depressing” to you, you’re living a pretty good life.

Hate to beat a dead horse here, but omitting Final Fantasy 16 off the top 3 is criminal. Omitting it off of a TOP TEN is beyond the scope of what my brain can even fathom. I get it. These things are subjective, but that is objectively one of the greatest scores ever recorded. Epic, (emphasis on EPIC) ethereal, emotional…everything it needed to be, when it needed to be it. I love this site, and will be a staunch defender of its staff writers, but…with that being said…you guys really missed the mark on this one.

The Phantom Liberty expansion is the reason I started a complete Cyber Punk play through from scratch, and I’m doing it proper. Didn’t even go in to Dogtown until I felt like I would be properly leveled. I’m loving it SO much. As much hate as CDPR got (and deserved) for releasing a broken game, they deserve just as much praise for turning it around, and delivering a truly amazing game.

Merry Christmas to all the staff, members, and their families. I generally ignore internet comment sections, but this is one that I have found is (typically) not toxic, where we can share our views, in a like minded community of one of our favorite hobbies.

Video game term that quickly loses my attention: Souls like.

Never played Atomic Heart. The aesthetics were FOR SURE interesting, but those kind of games just aren’t my jam. But this?!?! This looks WILD. Maybe…JJJJUUUUSSSSTTTT maybe, this officially put Atomic Heart on my radar.

This f-ing guy again. Luckily for him, he probably didn’t have to spend money on that outfit, as it was readily available in his wardrobe. Unluckily for him…that face makes him unemployable, despite his seemingly affable demeanor. WELP!!! BACK TO A LIFE OF CRIME!!!

As a matter of fact, one could argue that someone is trolling by leaving nothing but negative comments about everything PlayStation (on a PlayStation dedicated website, no less) every chance that they get. Just sayin…

Another huge winner, in a category that wasn’t actually a category, was the woodwind player during that Game of the Year live orchestral medley. That guy was KILLING IT!!! Last time a woodwind instrument was played with that much swagger was the saxophone player in “The Lost Boys”.

Hold on one damn second…you mean to tell me that this upstanding pillar of the community…with his entire face blasted…couldn’t find a normal job, and had to resort to a life of crime?!?! What is this world coming to?!?!?! Well…at least he’s not easy to pick out of a lineup…🤦🏻‍♂️
I’m sure the crack shot team of attorneys he has on retainer will secure him some much deserved residual income.
