I'm greatly looking forward to this, and I'm certainly buying the Season Pass too! I just feel that the attribute editing of the ship editor would kind of mess up the balance of the scoring, then again everyone will just max out their ship
I actually still have access to the Alpha, and man has the population dropped dramatically! Still loving it and I greatly look forward to the final product. The Alpha had a surprising amount of polish to it
I'm juggleing Watch Dogs, Killzone Shadow Fall, and more that the previous two the Destiny Alpha. I think playing that alpha is convincing me to preorder Destiny
I'm excited mainly because it will be easier to play with others than on PC (the always superior version in my opinion) and the added amount of trophies, from what I can gather, sounds like a nice bonus as well.
I hope multiplayer is a fun and innovative option, and not a "near-requirement" or something overly pushed. It was an absolute drag playing Black Flag multiplayer just for the 5 trophies it offered
I like the character designs in that they swing toward G1 designs while on Cybertron and movie designs on Earth. It seems like a nice concept to pay homage to both
I'll definitely be playing Watch Dogs on freeroam with my friend for the most part, but I want to complete whats left of my Killzone Shadow Fall trophy collection too
So far I'm loving it. I don't see much of a problem with the script so far, yet I'm also too "balls deep" into all of the side activities so prevalent in this game to the point where the story is a side activity in of itself
@Punished_Boss I understand peoples' complaints about the first party drought, but I agree, there are plenty of third party games and multiplats coming out to keep the system memory full for a while. Destiny, Watch Dogs, and even the new Assassin's Creed for series fans.
@BornOfEvil And that's completely understandable. I would much rather, like yourself it seems, have a delayed game than a bad, unfinished one. It means the developers care about their product. Sometimes, it really seems like people want a rushed game just to complain about something
Honestly, so far I'm pretty satisfied with the service. I've gotten a few pretty indie games out of it for free, and the discounts are a nice bonus. I'm just waiting for the bigger titles to be released for it.
@BornOfEvil Exactly my thoughts. I'd much rather have a refined and polished game than an unplayable one. Kind of reminds me of a certain other title released recently that wasn't, how would you say it, complete Cough Battlefield 4 Cough
Very cool, very cool! I hope that they eventually add an online component to this mode, it sounds like it'd be a hit there too. Even so, This sounds like a great Co-op mode
That really is something. I'm really happy that the developers did all that to honor one of their gamers. That speaks wonders about what humans can do.
I really hope PS4 stays on top in North America for this generation. I always prefer physical copies of the game to digital copies, so maybe digital sales will increase, but not quite as dramatically. As for China, I'm not sure. The censoring could block quite a few major games, causing consumers not to by the system for a lack of good games, but I hope I'm wrong and it becomes a stable market.
I'm always bummed that the numbers for each warzone seem so low, but I manage to get thrown into a full or nearly full match every time, with a few exceptions. I wish more people played this, it certainly is a great game with under-appreciated multiplayer
@AFCC No the fault is on me too. It's just that it's hard to talk about nationalities like that because people are proud of their heritage. I certainly apologize for my coarse language and accusations of 'ignorance,' and I accept your apology as well. I mean, what better am I if I label you as "close-minded" when not having met you myself? So I'm sorry myself, and I hope you can forgive me for going off at you. You just have to understand, a harmless comment can attract some off the handle comments from short-fused boneheads like me! haha It's all good with me if it's all good with you
@AFCC I'm sorry but what validity does your comment even hold? People like you are the reason why he have falsified stereotypes in this world, based on only the most negative traits to a nationality. Tell me, how many of the over 300,000,000 Americans play the games purely based on your logic of "American Saving the world?" How many of those millions have you met, that you actually took time out of your ignorant life to take a poll of the sorts to make a comment like that? You and everyone like you are the ones who don't deserve nice things. Am I writing this comment to dispel false stereotypes, or am I trying to save the world? Do you get that, or is your closed-mindedness clouding your better judgement, if you possess such a trait. And don't start with that "Oh it was a joke" crap, because that is a blatant lie. You can't just say that after the fact. You meant it right then and there, and you can't deny it. Well, congrats, do you feel better on offending a bunch of people how read your generalizing comment? I hope you do. It is pure ignorance.
Well, Sony fans, like myself, can't really throw stones. Destiny and Watch Dogs seem to be hyped up more on the PS4 than any other console, so it's kind of a double standard if we get angry at Microsoft for something that Sony has been doing for the whole generation so far. Not throwing stones, just pointing out facts. At any rate, one month isn't anything to cry over in my opinion. As for this game, it's the first Call of Duty to catch my attention ever (I bought a couple others simply to play CoD). I'm going to keep a watch on this at E3
While I'm skeptical on yet another Call of Duty, I'm very intrigued on that Corporate Warfare premise, so I'm actually looking forward to seeing how that all pans out for the game.
From what I've heard before, June (maybe July) seemed like good guesses from other sites since the beginning of 2014, and this seems like a confirmation of that time frame
I think that a whole new campaign is worth it, but I need to see if I enjoy before I sink more money into a campaign for a game I might not enjoy. Either way it seems like a good deal to me
I understand why the Vita version is cheaper, but I'm still baffled at why the PS4 version is $10 more than the PS3 version. Regardless, I'm still going to swipe Lego The Hobbit as soon as I can for Sony's latest format. Creating this game for a Lord of the Rings (and Hobbit, of course) fan who religiously played with Legos as a young kid is like giving a recovering addict their choice drug!
The combat kind of let me down a bit from what I can gather, but there's probably more to it than meets the eye. I'm still going to keep an eye out for this one, but, like I have been, a little under the radar.
I'm pumped for this year in gaming, and I think the first thing I need to save up for before anything is new harddrive for my PS4, because the selection for this coming year looks incredible!
Zuckerberg rubs me the wrong way sometimes. My prediction is Oculus Rift's original intentions of gaming will be more or less phased out and will become yet another glorified social media thing, which could have some cool implications like true "Facetime" and movies and such, and the Morpheus project will fail, but not crash and burn. More so it will be like a fighter pilot who, after a decent dogfight, had to eject and float to the ground. These two things will pave the way to virtual reality gaming in the future. I believe that these projects, even if they fail, will pave the way to the future of VR media. Either way, the sprouting VR "industry" will have a rocky road ahead, in my humble opinion, but the paving trucks will come soon enough, just not right now.
I'm actually impressed with the free day one missions. If publishers shipped out unfinished products and then released more patches like this, then I think people wouldn't complain nearly as much.
Looks interesting. Being a history buff, I love seeing when they place the story and revolutionary France actually peaked my interest. I'll see how I feel after I play ACIV.
It's good to hear that it works well, and I bet another year or so of development would help. While I'm impressed with the technological innovation itself and I'm greatly looking forward to the innovation it can bring to the industry, I'm not quite sure I'm 100% warmed up to it. I'm definitely gonna be watching this though, no doubt about that.
