Re: Talking Point: What if PS4 Title The Order: 1886 Removes Its Top Hat 'Til 2015?

Punkinhead145

@Punished_Boss I understand peoples' complaints about the first party drought, but I agree, there are plenty of third party games and multiplats coming out to keep the system memory full for a while. Destiny, Watch Dogs, and even the new Assassin's Creed for series fans.

@BornOfEvil And that's completely understandable. I would much rather, like yourself it seems, have a delayed game than a bad, unfinished one. It means the developers care about their product. Sometimes, it really seems like people want a rushed game just to complain about something

Re: This Analyst Thinks the PS4 Will Sell 51 Million Units by 2016

I really hope PS4 stays on top in North America for this generation. I always prefer physical copies of the game to digital copies, so maybe digital sales will increase, but not quite as dramatically. As for China, I'm not sure. The censoring could block quite a few major games, causing consumers not to by the system for a lack of good games, but I hope I'm wrong and it becomes a stable market.

Re: Heartless Americans Thought Tokyo Jungle Was Woof

@AFCC No the fault is on me too. It's just that it's hard to talk about nationalities like that because people are proud of their heritage. I certainly apologize for my coarse language and accusations of 'ignorance,' and I accept your apology as well. I mean, what better am I if I label you as "close-minded" when not having met you myself? So I'm sorry myself, and I hope you can forgive me for going off at you. You just have to understand, a harmless comment can attract some off the handle comments from short-fused boneheads like me! haha It's all good with me if it's all good with you

Re: Heartless Americans Thought Tokyo Jungle Was Woof

Punkinhead145

@AFCC I'm sorry but what validity does your comment even hold? People like you are the reason why he have falsified stereotypes in this world, based on only the most negative traits to a nationality. Tell me, how many of the over 300,000,000 Americans play the games purely based on your logic of "American Saving the world?" How many of those millions have you met, that you actually took time out of your ignorant life to take a poll of the sorts to make a comment like that? You and everyone like you are the ones who don't deserve nice things. Am I writing this comment to dispel false stereotypes, or am I trying to save the world? Do you get that, or is your closed-mindedness clouding your better judgement, if you possess such a trait. And don't start with that "Oh it was a joke" crap, because that is a blatant lie. You can't just say that after the fact. You meant it right then and there, and you can't deny it. Well, congrats, do you feel better on offending a bunch of people how read your generalizing comment? I hope you do. It is pure ignorance.

Re: Sorry PS4, You'll Have to Wait for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's DLC

Punkinhead145

Well, Sony fans, like myself, can't really throw stones. Destiny and Watch Dogs seem to be hyped up more on the PS4 than any other console, so it's kind of a double standard if we get angry at Microsoft for something that Sony has been doing for the whole generation so far. Not throwing stones, just pointing out facts. At any rate, one month isn't anything to cry over in my opinion. As for this game, it's the first Call of Duty to catch my attention ever (I bought a couple others simply to play CoD). I'm going to keep a watch on this at E3

Re: Store Update: 8th April 2014 (North America)

Punkinhead145

I understand why the Vita version is cheaper, but I'm still baffled at why the PS4 version is $10 more than the PS3 version. Regardless, I'm still going to swipe Lego The Hobbit as soon as I can for Sony's latest format. Creating this game for a Lord of the Rings (and Hobbit, of course) fan who religiously played with Legos as a young kid is like giving a recovering addict their choice drug!

Re: What Does Facebook's Oculus Rift Acquisition Mean for PS4's Virtual Reality Headset?

Punkinhead145

Zuckerberg rubs me the wrong way sometimes. My prediction is Oculus Rift's original intentions of gaming will be more or less phased out and will become yet another glorified social media thing, which could have some cool implications like true "Facetime" and movies and such, and the Morpheus project will fail, but not crash and burn. More so it will be like a fighter pilot who, after a decent dogfight, had to eject and float to the ground. These two things will pave the way to virtual reality gaming in the future. I believe that these projects, even if they fail, will pave the way to the future of VR media. Either way, the sprouting VR "industry" will have a rocky road ahead, in my humble opinion, but the paving trucks will come soon enough, just not right now.

Re: Does the PlayStation 4's Virtual Reality Headset Actually Work?

It's good to hear that it works well, and I bet another year or so of development would help. While I'm impressed with the technological innovation itself and I'm greatly looking forward to the innovation it can bring to the industry, I'm not quite sure I'm 100% warmed up to it. I'm definitely gonna be watching this though, no doubt about that.
