I want to play out the rest of the story. Hopefully they haven’t written themselves into a corner Westworld style

Back to HZD which has been fun. Prefer it to HFW to be honest. Quite a bit simpler

Enjoyed it enough but I’m now convinced that that survival horror is not for me. Bounced off RE4 remake. I’m more hoping for an excellent Control 2

@LikelySatan yeah, Skill Up’s review sealed it as a no for me. I largely trust his reviews on tone, story and character.

It's a tricky balance. Naughty Dog stuff is massively on rails but really enjoyable story telling (same with GoW of course). Too much freedom and you're in the Ubisoft danger-zone

Return to Monkey Island for me. Going back to a point and click will be a nice change up

Already played and loved Dead Space. Don't care about the other two. Luckily I'm in my first play through of TLoU1. I love this game very much

Ignore the gamer gate and anti-SJW bs. It is click harvesting and nothing more

I completed the PS5 version of GoT last month for the first time. A truly brilliant game. Loved the art, story , combat and general vibe. Wonderful stuff

I just don’t understand looter shooters. I don’t vibe with the game loop at all. It just seems really boring and pointless.

That being said, I have hundreds of hours of Elite Dangerous under my belt, so…

I love Frank Herbert’s Dune universe so I am definitely interested. The hardcore survival aspect is a little daunting though

I bounced off Borderlands (and Tiny Tina). The loot just becomes noise. The combat engine is fun, but then becomes samey and dull

Putting aside Fallout 4 for now and restarted Ghost of Tsushima. Now that my action game combat skills are way better, I’m really enjoying it. Now that I’ve upgraded my katana a few times, Jin is a bad ass

It's just there are more gaming options which require less of a time commitment, at least session by session.

The whole "people are getting stupider" is just "old man shakes fist at cloud" or "back in the day..." or "those young people!" You sound like an old *****, and I'm actively trying to avoid that attitude as I get older

We are bombarded by entertainment platforms that are designed to capture our time. Our time is currency

I bounced off the Tsushima combat, but now that I've finished GoW:R and Jedi:Survivor, I think it might be time to return now that my action combat skills are a little better. Beautiful game

Replaying FO4 right now. It’s great. Tons of content. The RPG aspect is great. Combat is pretty good. Not GoW or Jedi Survivor good though

@enrickUranium I'm bummed out that I couldn't get into FF16. I only played the demo but found the combat engine to be boring as all hell
