Changes are subtle but most definitly there: bugs fixed on the sky at the beginning and in lights at the zone of the first screenshot, improved vegetation render that now bends as you walk over it, most of outdoor zones greatly improved for trees and vegetations in the background, if I'm right, there are added dualsense haptics for "spoiler heavy" scenes I won't go into here (but I'm not 100% sure of that after replaying their PS4 counterparts, it's more a timing and force tweaking smart use). I think we will mostly appreciate those changes once an obligatory PSVR2 patch rolls out, hopefully around the same time as the Village VR mode and DLC and the headset release.
Only a portion of those games were going to be available independantly, and RE is not among them. I saw other titles I never purchased with a price tag in addition to premium mention, so the possibility to dowload them if you purchased them in the past could apply to a portion of those games which would evolves over time.
I bought that game for PS3/PSP, (the director cut edition), and I was expecting a download option for free without upgrading my ps plus tier, bur there is'nt. Probably the title is not available to purchase separatly from the ps plus premium, and I assume very few retro titles will have that option available at start anyway.
I hope for a couple of RE related news: Village DLC, news/release window/dates for the PS5 versions of 2, 3 and 7 and confirmation of PSVR2 integration for 7.
And now I am here hoping for PSVR2 news about Resident Evil 7 and Village (hopefully including the DLC for that last one) and maybe Gran Turismo 7, and some news regarding Astro Bot and a sequel to blood and truth. The resident evil PS5 versions of 2 and 3 (remakes) having been confirmed for 2022, I hope Capcom's and Sony plan makes sense for that, and that it would land pretty much at the same time as the headset itself for 7 and 8.
I'll take Astro Bot 2, Blood & truth 2, the inclusion of a complete PSVR2 mode for Resident Evil 7 and an equivalent update for RE Village. Oh, and if you are really remaking the 4th, while you're at it...Thanks.
With the PS5 REVII version supposely coming later this year, it's the kind of game which would need to be compatible with PSVR2 from day one. It could be lauching pretty close to a VR update for village as I see it. And while you are at it, why not check for the ending of the exclusivity deal for quest2 for RE4 VR to bring it to PSVR2.
Apart from RE, you did not mention a sequel to Astro Bot which surprised me. Also, in general, many actual PSVR games requiring move controllers would greatly benefit from an update to PSVR2 with the new sense controllers like the Walking dead (and much more)
Nice little features. But as a PSVR user, I must confirm that unfortunately, the PS Move controllers still do not charge when the PS5 is in rest mode. That worked well with the PS4 in that mode, but it only work with the PS5 when it is running. It does not work either with standard cellphone USB power adaptors, so I must rely on the PC. I can't understand what is so complicated, I know they are old tech, but still, they are supposed to be 100% supported anyway.
Resident Evil VII, Village and 4 VR games/updates for PSVR2 are all coming to the PSVR2 before long right? With possibility of free or low-cost updates at least for VII and Village? (I know nothing is confirmed, I just hope it is an evidence for Capcom)
@Areus Yes, absolutely, RE Village in PSVR 2 is a given, even if Ethan's movements have to be slow down. And I once heared a rumor of a PS5 version of RE7 if I'm right? If true, revamped support for PSVR2 is a given.
Games like this remind me I am still waiting for my ps4 camera adaptor for PS5 since more than 6 weeks now, so no VR for me since mid-april since I don't have my PS4 anymore. I would like to start a new RE7 game on PSVR once I complete RE8.
Even if it is not tonight, they will need to annonce VR support, at the very least for next-gen PSVR for PS5. But because I don't even have the PS5 yet, I hope a compatibility with PS4 PSVR is annonced. After having replayed RE7 recently completly in VR, I am currently in a new run on TV, it is definitly not the same level of immersion.
It is a fine game, in my opinion, the load times were the big problem, so I am happy to hear they fix that. Some overused environments and drone ennemies aside, I found it enjoyable. I have yet to finish it and now seems the right time.

Re: Lady Dimitrescu Gameplay Shown in New Resident Evil Village Trailer
Fingers crossed for a PSVR2 compatibility (and release of the device) that same day.

Re: Evil West Gameplay Looks Like God of War with Guns
So this year we got Horizon Forbidden west, Weird west and soon we will get Evil west. I guess it must be the theme for 2022.

PSVR2 mode for Resident Evil 7, Village and, one can dream, for the Resident Evil 4 remake (with a 1st person mode for that last one).

@BritneyfR_ee loool.
I tried it in flat 2D and in VR, amazing creation!
Re: Go Down to the Woods Today in Blair Witch: VR Edition, Available Now for PSVR
Normally, I am a supporter for VR games but the 4/10 review of the non-VR game should be a warning.
