The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's new patch is out now on PlayStation 4, and it brings a slew of great changes to the already spectacular role-playing game. The update weighs in at a massive 7.5GB, so you may have to take a small break from hunting beasties to get it installed.
The patch promises numerous improvements to Geralt's adventure, and overall, should make the release even better than it already is. Skimming over the most important bits, the update tweaks the inventory system rather dramatically, adds a new movement mode for our grizzly hero, and alters Roach's sometimes fiddly artificial intelligence.
CD Projekt Red's post-launch support has been fantastic so far, but is there anything else that you'd still like to see added to the game? Enter the wilderness otherwise known as the comments section below.

I guess all those fixes and additions don't come for free.
Evey armors and weapons are upgradable. Especially the default armor.
Really enjoyed this game the first week or so I had it, then all of sudden my interest started to wane. Maybe I was doing to many side quests or maybe it turned I to a collect a ton for me. Think I'll have to give it another go and check out all this new dlc.
Can't seem to download it yet. Maybe the release is staggered...
@RawShark same
Good good! Been waiting for some of these fixes for awhile and I'm sure loads of people will be happy about the zoltan gwent card
Does anyone know what the new movement mode is? I won't get to play til at least tomorrow night.
The frame rates have been all over the place at times. Especially on the first 10 seconds to a simple cinematic scene. Happy to see it fixed as this has been the best next gen game so far.
To anyone wondering about what this patch improves, we plan on doing a quick article once we've given it a go. We'll go over what the new movement mode is, if the frame rate's better, if Roach actually has a brain...
@ShogunRok they r all free
CD Projekt really created an astounding game. I can't quite seem to put my finger on why it started to bore me. RPGs and open world romps have always been a favorite of mine but for whatever reason this specific open world rpg totally lost me about half way thru. (Granted this does sometimes happen with other titles, but usually never one in this genre with this level of polish and quality) Think I am going to have to force myself to give it another go and check out some of this dlc. Ya know, I hate to say it, but I think it may have to much content. (I know, blasphemy, here come the net trolls) It felt like the side quests were all over the place and by the time I made it back around to the main story line it felt very disjointed. I fully expect to be net bashed for such talk, but occasionally even the best games don't create enough "fun" for everyone. Maybe that's what it is, just stopped being fun to play and started to feel like a chore. My wife gives me plenty of chores lol.
Also, has anyone heard anything on CD Projekts cyberpunk game? I know this probably isn't the right forum for such a question, but since it involves the same developer I thought I would give it a shot, thanks.
@SonyInfinity I'd imagine that The Witcher 3's expansions won't require a full team over at CD Projekt Red, so there's a good chance Cyberpunk 2077 is back in development right now - at least to some extent. I'd guess we'll hear more next year.
Hi is the patch 1.07 out in UK yet not got nothing yet
"CD Projekt Red's post-launch support has been fantastic so far, but is there anything else that you'd still like to see added to the game?"
NEW GAME PLUS!
Has anyone downloaded patch 1.07 in UK as I still can't plz answer
@Splat I'd like an option to enlarge the text for the books, notes, bestiary etc. I have good eyes and I even have to get up close to read some of it, lol. Game plus mode would be great and gwent multiplayer but to be honest if they didn't do another thing and just fixed bugs I'd be fine with that. They've done an amazing job and way more than most devs do
Good of the update to come before the weekend so I can take the whole weekend to download it
Might just be my imagination or a sudden improvement in my eyesight, but text seems bigger than prior to patch.
No explanation of what the new control is or does, although maybe it pops up once you change it in settings?
My mate got the patch yesterday, but no patch for me yet, we are both in Ireland, so who knows....
Tried with rebuilding the PS4 DB, restarting, ejecting disk, starting game..etc..
No joy so far. The PS4 downloads stuff fine from the store and updates other games, so it must be on CD Project's end
Not related, and the Warframe patch is 14gb...
Patches this days are bigger than games...
If anyone still can't download it, try pressing options on the game icon, and selecting check for updates. That's how I got it, at least.
Still no sign of the 1.07 update even checking for updates.
No sign of the Ciri DLC either - is that released?
@Splat I agree with this wholeheartedly.
@john_c I can't see the Ciri DLC either. It's likely late once again!
Aside from NG+ which is a must in a game of this calibre Id say, most other things Id like to see are superficial, you know the usual type of thing: more hairstyles and beards, different horse colours and so on, nothing really important.
Still no update yet, even uninstalled the game and reinstalled.... But no joy....weird....GTAV updated itself this morning, so the console is fine....meh
@Robert
Is that image a screen shot from the game on PS4? Also, why does Yennefer look so different?
