Re: Players Complain of Lengthy PS5 Matchmaking Times As Concord Numbers Dwindle

It will be on PS plus in a couple of months or just become F2P alltogether. They’ll put a small team on cosmetics and put in an ingame shop to hopefully get some revenue going while going to work on other stuff with the majority of their developers. The so called weekly cinematics will stop once the stockpile of finished ones they already have run out.

Re: 'Rebuilt' Until Dawn Comes to Haunt PS5, PC This October

Based on the trailer alone, rebuilt seems to be a bit of a stretch.

To my, admittedly aging eyes, all that has changed is an updated lighting implementation and upressed visuals.

Good for those that have never played it before, but pretty useless for everyone else in my opinion.

Another PushSquare review that shows why reviews on Youtube are far superior and actually give all the information you need to decide if a game is for you.

So far this game has been a blast and should never, in any timeline, get a 3/10 unless the reviewer has an axe to grind with the developer/publisher.

Re: Baldur's Gate 3 Bags 5 BAFTA Awards, Including Best Game

Overall a pretty logical list. Except Cyberpunk should not be awarded for fixing their broken game (fixing and evolving are not the same).
Also didn't think Miles Morales was even close to being as good as any of the main BG3 characters.

And lastly Starfield being nominated in the Technical Achievement category never fails to make me cringe and lol.

Re: Exclusivity Is the Achilles' Heel of Huge Blockbusters, Says Former PlayStation Exec

Yeah, don't listen to this guy.

If all games are going to go multiplatform, it will impact development time negatively (which they don't want and so they will make the game more generic to make up for the increase in difficulty and time required making it work on all platforms) and in addition those games won't effectively use the unique capabilities of a single platform.

The end result will be games that are more generic, less boundary pushing and is that something we really want?

Just ask yourself this, would FF7: Rebirth be the same quality game, in the same amount of development time, if it had to release day 1 on PS5, XBSX, XBSS and PC? I think not.
