Re: Rumour: Dishonored: Definitive Edition Sneaks Up on PS4

I dont mind remasters of games i missed in the previous gen. I dont mind paying for them either. People moan about the price and say you can pick it up for such and such a price. Yes thats all good if you keep your previous gen machines. I dont, so to buy the older version would cost me alot more as i would have to buy the console also. Remasters will appeal to different people for different reasons. There isnt a right or wrong answer.

@BlueProxy I I know exactly what you mean, that was a great character. Aiden was very wooden. However I did really enjoy the first game aside from the driving. The gunplay was fun and so was the hacking, but I would like to see a lot more options hacking wise in a sequel.I want the hacking to offer multiple paths to complete missions. Oh and I hope they sort out the side quests. They were rather boring and samey

Re: Soapbox: You Should Stop Pre-Ordering Games

Mrskinner

I have mixed feelings on pre orders. I wish i would have pre ordered gta v and far cry 4 as they were both totally sold out by me on launch day so when i went to the local stores i was left empty handed. I have pre ordered witcher 3 digitally so it can load to my ps4 for me and it is ready to go day 1

Re: Yup, Now Even Konami's Saying Silent Hills Is Done

Serious question, where would konami be without the games from kojima? They are not a relevant company anymore and from a business perspective they have done things horribly wrong. I totally understand them wanting to establish their own reputation apart from kojima, but his games are relevant and in demand. Stupid is the best word to describe it

Re: Sony Really Wants You to Pre-Order PS4 Games on the PlayStation Store

Mrskinner

I have to admit I currently buy all of my RPG's digitally, I have Dragon Age, Bloodborne and pre ordered Witcher 3 this way. Only reason I do this is I know there will be loads of replayability with these games and I like the convenience of it. Other digital purchases have come when sales are good such as sleeping dogs and sherlock. However, apart from the fact that I do not have to change a disc in my console there is no other incentive currently.

If the price was lower than retail I would buy all of my games from the store. Currently this is not the case, and i also have the option to sell my retail copy if I do not like the game.

I can see the attraction for people with digital releases if there is not a retail store situated close by and you want the game for launch. I have several stores within walking distance so retail is just as easy for me.

I would love to see more demos on the store so i can try before I buy to get a feel if i will like the game. Then if digital was competitive with retail prices I would go totally digital as there are benefits. Currently the prices are not reasonable in the UK.
