@Owenstoodstill and that there is the problem, timed exclusives are pointless and only hurt the consumer. Why should i wait for the game to arrive? I prefer to just vote with my wallet and boycott it. No big deal, plenty of other games to take its place. And if this is all about the money then it is a backwards business deal seeing as the larger install base is ps4 and the most copies of the previous reboot sold on sony systems.

Timed exclusives full stop should be abolished. Not only does it affect the sales for the production team, it also leaves a bad taste in the mouths of consumers and in turn can affect brand loyalty. I would much rather Sony and Microsoft spent the cash used to lock in these timed exclusives on creating their own new IPs.

@MadchesterManc doom did look amazingly good. My only concern is i hope the executions dont get boring fast

I want to do a death march run. Completed the game once and picked up 70% of trophies. Really would like a platimum out of this one.

@Splat yes you can start with 7 no problem. Each game has characters (mostly enemies and a few npcs) and lore that crosses over but each game is its own stand alone story (well apart from 13 trilogy but less said about that the better!)

For me it was the ff7 reveal moment. I have waited for this announcement for so many years to be greeted with dissapointment every year. I am so glad i stayed up for this one being in the UK. It really is a moment i actually will never forget.

Now whatever they bring me, i have to be happy with. The promise has finally been made! Lets get a 20th anniversary release now please

@get2sammyb i know this is off topic but do you think the hardcore cod fans are now thinking they need a ps4 with the switch in allegiances. I have never been a big cod player so how much of an affect do you think the dlc coming out on ps4 earlier will have on the die hards?

@Gamer83 haha yeah but he is in damage limitation mode. Did you see his interview where he says something along the lines of iwata didnt apologise for nintendos e3 showing? Because nintendo make great games was the answer if i remember correctly

@ferrers405 Yeah Im not too sure why Nier is on the list, is that even an exclusive?? However i really do wish more Persona was shown

@adf86 I voted Maybe on dreams, i think i just need to hear more about it before i decide I want to splash my hard earned on it. Wattam doesn't interest at all though to be honest

@ferrers405 I think it may not be on there because Persona 5 has been rather neglected at E3

@Fenriswolf- Its not just the graphics that look poor though, the gameplay looks terrible too. Cant see any difference from the old games

@BAMozzy Agreed, it would have been immoral to go ahead and release a sub standard product. I would be interested to know why this has failed QC though.

It is looking good from what i have seen so far. I had to watch it a few times after the reveal to notice all off the little touches such as the detail and.movement on tricos feathers. First time i watched i was just in disbelief that it was actually happening!

One of the strangest things i have ever seen in a game and i dont know if i am intrigued or just baffled!

@Gamer83 you are on the right page with your first assumption haha. Seems like there is some butt hurt damage limitation going on which is a shame.

Ubisoft and ea were pretty poor in my opinion also.

@RicksReflection I agree, the only problem I have is the pricing on the PS Store. But I believe the pricing is down to the publisher and not Sony. However they need to wise up because why should we pay more for something with less overheads? No pressing of discs, no packaging and no shipping fees.

@BLPs simple answer is game developers and consumers complained about long loading times, so as these games are huge and it is quicker to obtain the required data from a hdd than a blu ray disc, installation became a reality.

@glassmusic The ATB of FF7 was perfect for me, as you say it gave you time to plan a strategy for the battle and not rely on mashing.

I honestly wouldn't mind the game being tweaked with new content and side quests, but I really don't feel like they should change the main story at all. I would also hate this to go the route of live action combat instead of the originals turn based.

@ztpayne7 It is the one game i would love to replay on todays hardware. And you are right, the sequels were garbage. But that original game, AMAZING!

My only wish from Square Enix now would be a remake of Secret Of Mana. A man can dream cant he?! haha

@Hero-of-WiiU Its not the remake they are delaying, it is the PC port they announced at Playstation experience end of last year.

@Hero-of-WiiU Only way 1 & 2 will come out is if SEGA remasters them as they own the properties. Would be really cool if they decided to try and cash in on the remasters at this point though!

@NomNom never say never to a ps4 gravity rush 2 though

I have said this on another post, but i am glad they didnt try to demo it as that wouldnt have worked, however i did want to know something about it. Price, name, release date, launch titles etc. I cant afford to just drop the value of a launch day ps4 again on a peripheral i know nought about.

@Gamer83 yep some people cant stand that especially after the really poor e3 showing from a certain other console manufacturer.

All that was missing from e3 to be the most mind blowing ever was half life 3 haha

@Matroska i wouldnt be surprised though if sony are stumping up the cash needed. Someone has to be backing this game, remember the original cost $70 million to make. You can see why sega have ran away from the franchise with their current financial situation. I know sony arent exactly rolling in it now, but they had to do something for the players.

It was ok but still the best presentation today. I only wish Nintendo could have had a strong E3 this year then all of the big 3 console manufacturers would have given gamers something to shout about. Seems to me Nintendo have their eye on the NX

Looks really good, I just want to know how they will fit watch towers to climb to open the map into this game?

@rjejr I really hope this remains faithful to the turn based system. Im not the biggest of fans with the live action based FF games of late.
