There's been a horrible bug spreading across the UK and Europe for a few days now which has caused gamers to lose access to their PlayStation Plus subscriptions. Not only is this scary – especially if you've just stumped up for another 12 months of service – but it's also been blocking many gamers from playing online or even accessing their digital games. Dark times.
We reported recently that Sony had escalated the issue to its PlayStation Network team, and that it had tracked the problem back to the PlayStation Now beta. Fortunately, it's now issued a fix which should solve the problem, and prevent it from happening again. Of course, if you're still locked out, there's a simple way to reclaim access to your account.
All you need to do is go to the PlayStation Store and download a free demo. This can be for any game, and you might need to retry a couple of times, but once the transaction's gone through, you should have access to your profile again. If you're still having problems, you can always try restoring your licenses in the Settings menu, but you shouldn't need to go this far.
Has this solved your problem? Do let us know in the comments section below.

as it is due to the PSNow Beta does that mean it won't affect people not in the Beta
thank god for that, not to demean the problems others are going through with it and it might seem selfish but I'm glad it's not affecting me
and I feel sorry for those it is affecting
Finally yes this worked for me now predownloadin project cars

Problem sorted.thanks
Glad it's working!
@get2sammyb fantastic, all back! Thanks
I haven't had this problem but then again I haven't used ps now beta for over a week as I'm waiting for my new fibre broadband to be installed(currently using my phone as a wifi hotspot to get my ps4 online 2mbps!..put ps4 into magic standby mode and stuff downloads and updates quite rapidly at night tho) but has everyone with ps now beta had this problem AFTER they have used ps now?
What a weird bug fix? But nice to hear its working for everyone
Completely confused and baffled by Sony Non-technical abilities in 2015.
Over the Black Friday shopping time, I had bought Star Wars Battle front, extra controller and later the Sony Playstation Plus 12month subscription. The other night after weeks of playing the offline content decided to finally join the online fun. I couldn’t find the Plus card, looked all over for several days (yes even trash can, under car seats, etc) so figured I must have thrown it away with all the other Sony/electronics by accidently.
So I called Best Buy and told them I have the original receipt and they gave me the Serial number of the card and told me to call Sony. So I call Sony Playstaion (800-345-7669) tell them I have the original receipt, the Serial# and give them my online username, etc. And they tell me they can’t help me to get online. The Serial# is 24 digits long, with that: my receipt, Credit Card info, verification credentials and no way of helping a consumer?
Here is where I am COMPLETELY BAFFLED…
With all of the advance technology, the computer engineers/coders for their computers, gaming consoles, etc. They do NOT have the technology to assist me?
Our species is for the first time in human history on the verge of sending humans to Mars, yet Sony can’t rectify this?
Kind of an EPIC FAIL
