I've played 2 games on that list and one of them was remastered. I feel like I would've played a few more if not for Helldivers 2.

What a game. I adore it. This is from someone that hasn't played a multiplayer game since the original Modern Warfare 3. My friends, who rarely play games, even got in to it. We meet up on there for at least one game a night. I never thought I'd be this much in to a live service game.

I cancelled playstation plus after they put the price up. It finishes in May. I'm going to have to renew at the essential rate to carry on playing.

@Kidfunkadelic83 hopefully it's sorted for tonight's onslaught. We normally stick to termanids but with all this propaganda with the Automatons we wanted to get stuck in with them.

We couldn't get a stable game running last night at all. Such a bummer. Needed to serve a big dollop of democracy

The next 5 years will be a judge of his success or not. We're still getting the last CEOs green lit games. What will come from his tenure time will tell.

When Shawn Layden left he said games are taking too long to make and are getting too expensive. Maybe getting Jim on an interview in a few months away from Sony PR he'll tell us what he really thinks.

£40 is a ridiculous price for this. The cheapest I've seen it on PSN is £31, so £5 for a month of GTA+ is a steal. I'll have to do this after the Easter holiday.

It brings me great joy that someone will be watching me fumble around, trying to figure it out then stopping for 5 mins while I look at my phone for no reason whatsoever!

*****, I'm in the Lakes at a wedding that week. A week off away from my ps5 and a whole new land to explore. I don't need to go do I? I'm not the groom or best man. Would they actually miss me? I'm actually saving them money on food. Makes sense to stay home. No wife, no kids.

Has anybody played it solo or with random people. What's it like? I got these two kids to deal with so gaming time is too random to play online. I'm a Billy-No-Mates. I stay away from online games in teams so I don't upset some random, potty mouth punk who gets the unfortunate position of being in the same team as me. Could I play alone or am I dreaming. I was 16 when Starship Troopers came out. All I could think was "this would be a great game" I even played a mode in command and conquer retribution where giant ants attacked your base. That was awesome.

One thing I really hope, but doubt will happen, is they come out next week and say X number of games will be coming to ps5 and the first will be out within the next few months. Let's not wait 2 or 3 years for games that are already a few years old. Right click: save as ps5 file. Easy

I've never owned an X Box so there's a few I would play. Never tried a Gears game or halo. Plus after playing skull and bones today and it being awful, I'd like to try out sea of thieves most of all

The demo put me off big time. But it's been calling to me. Glad I waited

The batteries in my rock band guitar and drums corroded years ago. I wonder how much they go for on eBay? I also have so many extra songs I've paid for in rock band. Would be great to fire it up.

I'm sure if you asked Bethesda if they wanted to be multiplatform they'd say "yes! Please, God, yes!" I'm also sure Marvel will look at the amount of ps5s sold compared to Xbox series X/S and want a bigger audience.

But, yeah it's so far away there's no real answer here

Here's a thought: are the selection of games purposely crap this month to get more people spending money on the black Friday deals. Its worked on me. I've added 3 games to the backlog and still spent less then £70

I cancelled my subscription the other week. It'll run out around May. I was thinking if the price was right on a black Friday deal I could be convinced to extend it but that's not the case. Full price for me.

@Korgon I totally agree. I would love an old style multiplayer that didn't want you to check in everyday. I hate multiplayer games normally, I hate people, but factions was a great experience. I want that again but with TLOU2's movements.

Since all this news of the game being in turmoil, I've thought it could be added to the Last of us part 3. They might even reuse the assets and areas from the multiplayer game to save some time in part 3s' development. Could part 3 be set in San Francisco?

All that extra subscription money being put to good use, I see. More proof that cancelling my subscription was the best move for me.

I too was hoping for a "and it's available right now!" Moment. I need a reason to her back in to this game. After 15ish hours I just put the game down (for Elden ring) and never picked it back up. I wanted a bit of time to start and finish the game with the 2.0 refresh and then hopefully go in to the dlc.

I got Gotham Knights in the sale. Man, that game is pants. Really glad I didn't spend full price on it. Guess I should carry on with that till the 21st.

@PenguinLtd a lot of Devs have said this is why they don't mind having their games on a service. A bigger audience to sell DLC packs to.

While it is a pretty crap month, I'm happy I don't have to buy saints row. I have a feeling I'll put a few hours in and realise it's not for me. I'm just in the mood for a open world checklist game.

To the 33% who said you'll be letting your subscription lapse, it's incredibly easy to cancel your subscription using the PlayStation app. Go to the ps store tab, click the subscriptions tab, then the 3 lines in the right corner, manage subscriptions. Cancel that thing! You'll have to your renewal date. I've got till June next year.

This has pushed me to cancel my subscription now. I meant to do it before it renewed but I forgot. I've got till next June and it won't auto renew. It's very easy to do via the PlayStation app. Subscription gaming just doesn't work for me. I see them as "less than" games.

In the year that I've had it I think I've finished 3 of the games. A lot of the games I already own and was happy to buy them full price or in a sale and the rest are just clutter that I wouldn't play anyway. It's a bit of a waste on me.

How many will buy it expecting a game on the level of RDR2, see the graphics and be utterly disappointed.

Anyway, this has had me thinking, how much do you think they're going to charge for GTA VI? £30 more then a 13 year old game? I think we're about to see a £90 standard edition game here.

This reminds me of the first South Park game on PS1. That was a first person snowball shooter. Terrible!
I wonder how involved Parker & Stone are with this one. I'm sure I saw an interview about "Stick of truth" saying it was harder to develop then they were expecting. I wouldn't blame them for taking a back seat for this. In fact Cartman's voice sounded a little odd in the trailer.

The more comments I read, the more it sits uneasy with me. Red Dead Redemption was my favourite game before RDR2 came out. I would kill to play it but these decisions don't deserve my money.

How long was it before GTA 3, then Vice City and then San Andreas came to PS Plus extra? I don't think it was that long. I remember they came and went pretty quickly, though. Maybe that's how I'll play it

One of the few games I got 100% back in the child free days. I was looking forward to returning to it, but not at this price. It's hard to say what price I'll go to, though. Maybe £15. The PS3 version is on my shelf. I don't think it'll be hard to boot that up. Hopefully my dusty PS3 still works

I agree with the article; it's the price that stinks. Do a port of a 13 year old PS3 game but price it as such. It wouldn't surprise me if the CEO of Rockstar was Leviticus Cornwall himself.

Actually heartbreaking. Not even a 60fps option. But not surprised after the lackluster GTA trilogy.

I feel the graphics of rdr2 wouldn't suit the style of red dead redemption. Rdr2 is a more grown up story with less outrageous and cartoony characters. I'll be more then happy with a 4k 60fps update. Much like the Xbox backwards compatible version.

It's been happening to me on Kingdom Hearts 3. First time it happened I frantically searched for a save point. But no need to worry. Funny game, that. Kinda wanna leave it but want to press on. All the worlds are just retellings of the movie. A little boring.

No need for premium to enjoy the first game and grab that bargain for the second.

You know, gun to my head, I couldn't tell you if this game was in the PS Plus extra collection. Seems like the perfect game for it

@MickOnYourFace I think so. When you start, pick the expeditions 9 missions. It'll help you to get used to certain features and give you some fancy rewards that you can take in to a new play through. When you start a a normal game follow the missions. If you find it hard or laborious you can alter the difficulty to make mining faster or non existent. There's so much to do as a single player and multi-player. I'm loving my time with it at the moment.

Yeah, kinda liked going through the games again. I play quite often, not everyday, but, it's surprising how few games I was ticking off. I'll have to tell the wife I need to play more. Pray for me.

@Wayward_Boglin it was apparently a Samsung thing. I must have the certain phone that wouldn't work correctly. Like, playing red dead 2, the button inputs were either mixed up or just wouldn't work. I tried it last night and it's all working 😁

Knowing Square Enix they'll probably release it the week before Final Fantasy XVI. Spread your games out! Especially the massive JRPGs 🙃

For some slower paced games it's great. Never played anything too taxing on it. One of the major bummers was not being able to connect the dualsense to my Samsung phone. It just doesn't work, so I've been using the dualshock 4. Anyone know if they've fixed that.

I kinda like that feature. I need to know how far I have left. I'm constantly looking at full game walkthroughs on YouTube to see how many hours I have left, roughly
