Looks quite nice actually. On a different topic (maybe related?), are there PSVR2 games about visiting museums from all over the world? Or maybe important locations like Parthenon, Pyramids and stuff? Something free roaming but done respectfully with nice visuals to compensate being at home?
@DonJorginho Rematching Simon is potentially a huge gain of time. You can't have the fight lasting too long because of his ultimate so, once you've got the tech to beat him, if you still get the experience points, rematching him could be pretty cool to farm up to level 99. Or just test the viability of your builds
Won't pretend I cared for every games but there definitely was some Holy Sh*t moments!
IMHO, that last Marvel Fighting game from ARCSYS was over 9000!
Also, Romeo Is A Dead Man kind of rocked and we got to see Pragmata's gameplay as well as FF Tactics remaster (which really looked like the bare minimum of effort though... but I might be wrong).
I really enjoyed soul hackers 2 and I keep coming back to gbvsr regularly. With the new season, never been a better time to try this awesome fighting game.
Sand land kind of has my interest. Stalker not so much.
@N1ghtW1ng Just wanted to applaud and congratulate you on: Having a Transistor picture Being able to take other's remarks into account in a constructive way.
@R-Soub Capcom VS Sn1 (CVS1) had a fixed ratio system. Meaning, characters were noted from 1 to 4 (if I remember correctly) and you had to select a team of fighters with a sum of 4. So, you could have a team of 1,1,2 or 3,1 or even just one 4 guy. Obviously, the higher the ratio, the stronger the character was supposed to be.
CVS2 let you apply ratio yourself, so it's more fluid and, most importantly, CVS2 introduced 6 "grooves", which are 6 different style of playing every characters. 3 from Capcom games, 3 from SNK games.
Other than that, you find the standard changes when comparing a first iteration of a game to its sequel.
Snk VS Capcom is fighting made by SNK, while the CVS1&2 were made by Capcom. Different roster, artstyle and mechanics. This game isn't on the capcom collection but can be found and bought separately on playstation systems.
@Odium In all those games, I feel like, whatever their genre, music is treated less as a background sound going with the flow and more like a force trying to interact with you, proudly saying "hear me out, there is something you need to feel/understand about this moment/adventure". It's like a core part and transmission vector of the experience IMHO.
Loved this game. Perfect example of a game that looked and felt exactly like I remembered the 16 era RPGs and not how they really were. Not that they were bad, but they never looked that good.
Also, on normal difficulty, it was reasonably easy and somehow helped enjnoying this nice story and those wonderful characters. really felt like Sabotage wanted you to enjoy the tour and the trip down everything they loved with them.
So, definitely on my to-do list! Then, hopefully, I'll finish it right in time for Chained Echoes's DLC too.
Playing it and there is a lot to love with interesting system mechanics. Nothing ground breaking imho but fresh and well enough done to keep one entertained. Also, very nice artistic direction even if limitations show, it is a very well crafted game I think, one that often has me stopping to look at the scenery and how the level design seemed to have been implemented with a lack of mini map in mind. I might be wrong but it does seem made in a way so you can always figure out your direction and which way you come from. Coming from a guy who really really really easy gets Lost in vidéo game and irl.
@LiamCroft Hello, sounds like a must buy, so happy ^^ I have a mild case of FOMO though, so quick questions: Can we collect stuff after finishing the story? Are there missable trophies? Also, I guess the lack of a mini map turned out ok?
@Rgeneb1 OK good news, googling it worked and I found it. Bad news "something went wrong try again later" Good news, tried to look for it again and it's in the demo catalog
It does beg to be experienced in VR though. But if the frame rate isn't locked on already, this might be a technological issue Compared to Kayak mirage, how does the environnement compares? Anyone played both?
@mlm043 I feel you. I love their games too. Transistor was the game that made me buy a PS4 when I was hesitating with an Xbox and I loved every second of it (and it was the month this game came free on PS+). Because I have the best friends in the world, I'm also a proud owner of the Limited Run collector's edition ^__^ Hades was a thing of beauty and, even though I'm a bit concerned they are going for a "sequel" inistead of a new original game, I can't wait to play it, I trust those people 100%.
Honestly, I'm hesitating buying a Switch 2 just to play Hades 2 on time. I missed the Switch one entirely and I believe there are some games I'd really like to try (Triangle Strategy, I'm looking at you)
@Korgon Hello, just wondering if you were still playing SF6 and/or GBVR? Desperately needs training and friendly chit chat lol Sorry this has nothing to do with AC, I just jumped on the occasion... I will try Shadows eventually though, it's climbing up my to do list ^^
@JustMyOpinion I thought I was the only one with this issue. I played it about a few months ago and was eager to try the Kurosawa B&W setting but, in the end, couldn't keep playing after the end crédit while I usually go for plat. However, I loved Odyssey (only AC I did so far) because of how they recreated ancient/,mythical Greece and found Kassandra pretty fun too.
I love Japan and look forward to thé setting but I don't know if I will get the same wow feeling as climbing on top of Athena or watching the light pass through the cracks of ancient temples and columns...
Not a FF fan and never really had any urge to play them except for 6. However, I always thought Lightning's design and that battle theme Light of something I can't remember (blinded by light!) were really, really good.
Really excited for this game. However, I think it's Eurogamer's preview who pointed a lack of map wharsoever and, as a person with no orientation skill (both in real life and video games), that frightens me a bit. I really wish the final release would have a map of some sort featured in.
Bought it 400€ during the last price cut.
Enjoying beat saber and kayak mirage so far.
Haven't DL horizon yet.
Waiting to clear some backlog before losing myself in no man sky.
Spaceship adventuring will be a childhood dream made Virtually Real Xb
Just finished the first one (thanks the PS+ games this month) and thought it was incredible. It reminded me of me playing Transistor for the first time somehow. I'll do two more runs (played Machinist, need to try the other classes) then definitely play the 2nd one!
Really hope this will be successful and more western studios will put their hart into turn based rpgs ^_^
Even Ubisoft did the charming Child Of Light a few years ago.
Not a FPS fan so, I often have to ignore a huge part of "Best VR" stuff (that and I really don't like TOP whatever anway lol).
However, I bought a PSVR2 because of the 40% off during sales and, while my goal is to later lose myself in No Man's Sky, I've been playing that Kayak game and Beat Saber and, so far, those two really delivered.
Kayak Mirage is incredibly relaxing and pleasant to roam in. Beat Saber gives me the same euphoric vibe I got when I used to party with RockBand and my friends. Only drawback, but that's very personal, I'm not confident enough to play beat saber alone as my play area isn't that large and I already bumped once or twice in a furniture lol.
Demeo is on my radar because I love boardgames and having an oppportunity to play even when my friends are not available sounds good to me.
40% off PSVR2, I had to take it. Now, I really don't know when or what I'll play* on it but... I guess now I have the options. lloll
*probably losing myself in No Man's Sky, I have fond memories of my younger self looking at artworks of sci-fi landscapes and this game in VR now seems like this could be it. Also, Beat Sabers and that Kayak game...

Something free roaming but done respectfully with nice visuals to compensate being at home?
Re: Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army (PS5) - A Fantastic Return to Peak PS2 Atlus Vibes
Is it mechanically close to P5 Scramble (the boss/mini boss parts) or a completely different beast?
Like, your summons act as your companions?

Intrigued.
Don't much care for Elden Ring TBH but Garland directed Ex Machina, one of my favorite movie.

Re: 60+ PS5, PS4 Games to Buy in PS Store's Big Games, Big Deals Sale
@naruball
It is.
Though the story is completely différent, I found it comparable to firewatch or oxenfree in quality.
But, I totally relate about first person.
I usually stay clear from them and very rarely enjoy FPS.
On the sales topic, I also noticed a Citizen Sleeper bundle... One of the best experience I had, period.

@UnlimitedSevens Thanks for the game list.
Beat Saber, and potentially Thumper or Synth thingie, were on my list.
I'm the kind of gamer who doesn't care much for FPS though, or sport sim so no Fifa/CoD for me, even though I admit Pistol Whip's DA looked nice.
I got Call of the Mountain in my bundle.
I was wondering though, have you tried DEMEO or RED MATTER ? DEMEO is kind high on my list and RED MATTER sounded interesting...
Happy WE ^^
