Re: Bethesda Teases Indiana Jones Game, But Will It Come to PS5?

@Futureshark 7.5 billion is just the tip of the iceberg as well. You will have massive staffing costs, game development and tools, online infrastructure costs, ip licences. Looking around the 15 to 20 billion mark. We all know Microsoft are a trillion dollar company but they still don't like losing money.

@Jarobusa For the amount of investment and money that would go into making quality games its not sustainable. They would need 100 million plus subscribers every month. Unless they go down the AA route as they have done so far to cut costs. X cloud so far has bombed so far. The future will definitely be gamepass app on every TV so maybe then the fanboy wars will stop.

Re: Bethesda Teases Indiana Jones Game, But Will It Come to PS5?

It won't come out for probably another 3 years or so more than likely just be on Xbox and PC. Gets tedious every single game will it won't it be on PS5. Wat is the point in Xbox buying a developer if its not going to be exclusive. Personally I have both consoles so couldn't care. Only people who truly care are die hard fanboys. Most if not all true gamers have both and let's face it in 3 years time Xbox and Playstation Apps will be on our TVS so purchasing a console gets less more important as every day passes. With Covid and American Terrorism who knows where we will be in 3 years time.

Re: Soapbox: I Think I Like Battle Passes, But They Do Stress Me Out a Bit

Max2574

Find it a bit morally wrong that push square are highlighting Battle passes as I am sure alot of there readers are kids and can be influenced. Just makes me feel uncomfortable and almost doubting @getsammyb motives tbh. I mean is this a paid sponsorship it all just seems morally wrong in my eyes. Battle passes and microtransactions are the dirty seedy part of gaming that means we get ***** like Avengers, Anthem, Fallout76 etc. I can only assume Activision have given you a few quid to basically advertise it. Not a good look at all for Push Square.

Re: Game of the Year: #1 - The Last of Us: Part II

Max2574

@Aya-chan Yep either you love or hate this game no grey area at all. Shame the haters can't see a middle ground and appreciate the so many things it did right. For me it wasn't my personal GOTY that goes to Hades but I can appreciate how good TLOU2 was and graphically it doesn't have an equal. Story is subjective hence so many diffrent opinions. But I have seen fan polls on about 5 sites TLOU2 won every one so no denying many millions love this game.

Re: Sony Reportedly Refunding Purchases of Maneater on PS5 Following PS Plus Announcement

Max2574

@SirRealDeal How can this be nothing but a positive yh its store credit and will be spent on another game but at least the customer won't feel ripped off and with the incredible sale right now lots of games to purchase for a cheap price.

Sony had no legal obligation to do this. So in this case its nothing more than a moral decision by them. Great to see to be honest and builds trust 👍

Re: Game of the Year: Sammy's Top 5 PS5, PS4 Games of 2020

Max2574

@Jimmer-jammer Yh I have it for the Switch and can't stop playing it. Graphics are nice considering its a Switch game. But gameplay is top notch. Yh First party exclusives are ok but timed exclusives suck big time and needs to go. Sure after 6 months it will be on consoles.

Re: Game of the Year: Sammy's Top 5 PS5, PS4 Games of 2020

Max2574

@Jimmer-jammer Excellent counter points my friend. But think how good it could if been if those things were added and improved.

Police should of had a dynamic wanted system with bribes and assassinate certain police to remove wanted level. They have to update the fact if I drive 10 yards away they completely lose you. Spawning police out of nowhere can at times completely ruin it.

Npcs at times barely interact with you and just go round on a specific path. So more interaction and conversation options needed.

No doubt if you do all the side content its a 100hrs plus game. But main story is between 15 to 20 hours depending on skill level. They should of integrated some of the side quests into the main story. Side quests I really enjoyed btw.

Gunplay is passable but compared with Cod or Destiny nowhere near as responsive or varied.

If they can add to the game and add the features they touted it could be great and GOTY contender. But current state its good but not great.

Re: Game of the Year: Sammy's Top 5 PS5, PS4 Games of 2020

Max2574

@LordSteev Its ok but not fantastic imo. Broken AI. Cops that are hilariously bad. Short story, missing features that were promised, okish shooting mechanics.Terrible customization and loot. Story for side content i liked and main story was ok but predictable. Overall 7/10 but from the same devs who crafted Witcher 3 it's disappointing in so many ways.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Consistent Crashing Issue Still Not Fixed on PS5, PS4 After Patch 1.05

Max2574

WTF now my settings are all messed up. They didn't fix any of the issues yet again. Its clear the problems are deep lying in the code and no hotfix patch will address the issues. I hope after there holidays they can fix all this. But for me I am out and also unwrapping Cyberpunk present I bought for a family member and getting a refund. Maybe get her Valhalla instead. Such a mess and so sad to see.

Re: Soapbox: I'm Really Enjoying Cyberpunk 2077

Max2574

Ai is a joke wasn't there supposed to be police you can bribe and they react to you depending on your situation. Instead we get magical spawning police who shoot on site or plain just do nothing. Ai in NPCS is non existent and the amount of cloned NPCS is a joke and lazy. Gun play is ok but not at Destiny or COD levels. Story is best aspect of the game but even then its nothing mindblowing. Without the bugs and my 40 plus crashes I would give it a 7/10 good but not great. It made me play the Witcher 3 again wich is still one of the best games I have ever played and why we all fooled for the smoke and mirrors and trusted CDPR.
