@invictus4000 wise words and it’s a smart move to include Bluetooth and enable later on, once they’re happy to enable.

It will be funny to see what the box is like as it’s the first console I’ve bought that isn’t a console

@B_Lindz Nintendo switch didn’t have it but was enabled later on.

@Haruki_NLI I’m sure BlueTooth is in the device and a tear down will show. Then 12 months later they’ll enable it, once their headsets have met paydirt or been a flop

@__jamiie switch didn’t for years and then added afterwards. Maybe Sony want to sell their earbuds and if they don’t sell, Bluetooth will be enabled

@__jamiie the chip probably costs $1 and is in the device as Dualsense controllers use Bluetooth anyway

@UltimateOtaku91 I couldn’t agree more and for £199 not a bad price, as a backbone controller is over £100 and don’t enjoy playing on a Phone Screen.

Delicious and just pre-ordered. I’ll get slated for doing so but being able to play PS5 anywhere in the house is great with all bells and whistles of PlayStation.

I bet over time they’ll add Bluetooth and improvements but is weird as the machine doesn’t have software to sell it, all coming from PS5 which is a first for Sony.

@nocdaes hopefully they listen to the community and add Bluetooth as I bet it’s in the device anyway. Probably costs less than $1 for the chip

@bighal great great comments and completely agree. PS portal could evolve in time to a more improved offering but no Bluetooth is a silly decision, which will raise alot of support calls/tickets/Twitter posts

@REALAIS I thought it was supposed to do Cloud Streaming also which interested me meaning your PS5 didn’t need to be switch on.

Maybe they’ll add this functionality further down the line as part of Premium tier or did I miss something?

@Olmaz gotta agree with you but upon buying Quake 1 remastered on Switch for £2.67 I can’t put it down with the gyro controls.

I can see happening but not sure why? 4K 30fps or 60fps 1,800p is just fine for me. Raytacing is such a waste of resources

@bkeswick people are lazy and if detachable costs too much, they’ll slip into Digital without even making a decision.

@bkeswick it’s gonna be interesting seeing how many people buy the detachable disc drive as people will probably just wanna save money and go fully digital, especially if installing the disc drive requires effort (screws).

Makes business sense and they’ll want people buying the digital version first pushing them away from physical media. Then if they want disc, just buy the add on.
