@TheTony316 it’s sad Micro$oft don’t care about hardware sales and just focus on Gamepass! I never seen any XBOX adverts or posters on buses in London, it’s like it doesn’t exist.

@ChrisDeku id kinda agree and only Returnal has really made me think the PS5 is a SUPER UPGRADE over PS4 Pro. I think the PS5 will last well into 2030 given its power and how underutilised it’s been!

@Arthur_Morgan I’ve been taken back how great the portal is as bought to play Cyberpunk away from the TV, as wife doesn’t want me to sit watching me play games.

So far it’s been fantastic and even fast paced games like F1 2020 respond just like your in front of the TV playing.

@DeVrede_NL I’d highly recommend as a dad with a 5 & 2yr old. Provided your PS5 is LAN connected to your router directly and you tell the PS5 to connect that way (I initially didn’t!) then it works like a dream! I can now play the games I bought but never had a chance to 🙏🏻😁👾🕹️🎮

Dead on Arrival and I’m fine using a wired headset. Plus you need to use a Dongle on the PS5 which is just stupid!! Imagine you loose the dongle, that’s £200 down the drain!!

Doh!!! It wasn’t clever or smart but I’m sure the game has legs and overall should sell well once it hits the sales. Mario Wonder was £35 most places in run up to release, Sonic was £45!

@NeonPizza I’m a lover of playing in 4K on 55inch TV but the portal has been a delight!

I’ve had a chance to play Returnal, Cyberpunk and loving it.

For anyone sat on the fence, don’t.

Cyberpunk 2.0 and Returnal on my new PlayStation Portal which is awesome!

Just played 2 hours of Cyberpunk 2.0 on the Portal and it’s bloody fantastic! Bit glitchy for couple of mins after 1 hour but then fine.

It really feels like you’ve got a PS5 in your hands

@thefourfoldroot1 now that’s something I can’t comment on. From what I’ve heard it should be the same if not somewhat better, but peoples network will dictate.

One thing for everyone to know, games DO have a minor lag but your mileage on spotting these can vary. For me this hasn’t detracted from the enjoyment of the machine or experiences

@ear_wig yeah switch off 120hz and ensure nothings downloading or uploading at the time of playing.

One thing I think people forget about the Portal is how good the overall feeling of playing a PlayStation 5 in your hands is. Returnal is a wow moment

@ear_wig Returnal has been the best performer so far but most games trouble free. I have the PS5 wired into Router and on a 150Mb connection

Got a Portal and pulled the trigger on Cyberpunk 2077 for £23.99.

@ear_wig great comments on the games and I echo what you say about the machine. I had a blast with Returnal for 30 mins and performance was fantastic, with my PS5 wired into my router.

I think people bad mouth the Portal as they don’t need to play away from the TV which is the whole point of the device.

I’m keen to see how Sony improve the device from a software perspective in the months ahead.
