To people needing difficulty modifications and assists, just know that all of these are already in the game. Mimic tear. Magic users. Summoning. These make boss battles more manageable. 1v1 a boss, or make yourself summonable, and you'll be getting a little better each time.

I'm on PS5, but aside from Demon's Souls, Returnal, and Elden ring (60fps) I could still be on PS4. I'd understand why people haven't upgraded yet due to economic woes.

Whoever is selecting the premium titles should be fired. Of all the classics on PS1 they mostly choose games from the nose bleed section. PS1 being a legendary jrpg machine you'd think every month thered be one of those. No one, or at least the vast majority of players, do not care about the games they're putting on premium which will then fuel the Sony corporates to say over and over no one cares about classics. So dumb

On its nose of course this is a fine idea. My only issue with it is that the Switch and I'm assuming it's successor will be so underpowered compared to the competition for PS and PC, that inevitably there games will be kneecapped by Nintendo's weaker system.

Getting a new pure strength build character prepped slowly for the expansion. So pumped. Elden Ring really spoiled us, the fact we're getting more of it is very exciting. What's more exciting though is for FromSoft to make a true next-gen game Souls game.

They should let Obsidian take care of the Fallout series. They were given a year and a half for New Vegas and I'd say it's still the fan favourite. They deserved those bonuses they never got.

I still can't fathom why they thought their updated "dialogue trees" were the way to go over F3 and NV. I downloaded a mod on PS5 for a mute protagonist hoping that it would give me full sentences for the dialogue options and was woefully surprised to still see: Yes. No. Sarcasm. Insult. as dialogue options. WTF man 😂 Why did Bethesda do that!? It's so bad.

I'd love it if Larian made the next Fallout.

@Crimson_Ridley I don't disagree. The MGS comparison was more for the court of public opinion. Bethesda didn't create the world of Fallout, so it rustles my jimmies a bit is all.

@Crimson_Ridley Incorrect. Bethesda made Fallout 3 & 4. Obsidian made NV, and 76 was made by a B-tier studio that never launched a game before. So, technically BGS and Black Isle have put out the same amount of games.

Just as there will be new Metal Gear games, but Metal Gear is Kojima.

I loved the first game and thought it was a fun platinum. Hearing that it has monster hunter elements reminds me of Salt & Sacrifice where the series left behind it's Souls-like approach for a Monster Hunter flavour. I'll wait and see how this turns out. I wasn't a fan of Salt & Sacrifice

I don't much like hearing Fallout referred to as Bethesda's game series. I get they own the rights, but that's like saying Disney's Iron-Man. It's off. Excited to start the show tomorrow night.
