I was really hyped for the game and pull the trigger for £11 offer, but it's just too janky from time to time and mystery element goes away too quickly. Dropped out after 7-8hrs with no intention to be back, maybe part 2 will be much better. Solid, but not for me.
one of these overhyped games which offered absolutely nothing in terms of pure gameplay (boring exploration and even more boring fights), more of a curiosity and gimmick than real experience. audio was good, but not outstanding.
Have similar glitch with Plague Tale 1, played demo and purchase full game at some point later - can't download because 'unavailable' - have to contact technical support. Also during Diablo IV trial on PS5 I was able to play 10m only, game closed on me and told that my time is over for some reason 😂
Seriously, it's better for this wrap to be available on each and every console and maybe PS App, not like this - glitched every year. Somehow other companies managed to do wrap every year with no issues, whilst also having huge user databases
My PS is always standing somewhere behind the telly and I really don't care how does it look like, can be black, pink, brown - only games matter, rest is waste of time and money.
@AG_Awesome feeling you bro. I'm from 1984, so grew up with Commodore and Amigas, seeing games with such amazing graphics nowadays is a dream come true. However, so many games are half boiled eggs or without soul now, sometimes nostalgia hits and I would love to be transported back to the golden era, seeing big hits being released almost every week - we didn't realise it instantly back then, now I appreciate much more how awesome was witnessing true passion and progress. Now we have games released because of shareholders interest, hence so many scandals and dirty situations. True gaming over corporate greed anytime.
So many comments here are on point, because industry is really in bleak space now, lack or AAA PS5 titles is real and Xbox CEOs doesn't really know what direction to choose. Nintendo will be so happy continuing what they doing best without looking back at others.
when I was thinking this update will bring higher output/better maximum volume for headphones connected to Dual Sense, so with high impedence headphones I wouldn't be forced to use amplifier
That's the biggest problem with most of his games, focusing on being so cinematic that gameplay is often lacking. I don't want to watch movie while I'm playing the game, there is no charm in this concept. Kojima should shift priorities from Hollywood to devs studio, and I don't want to see his name popping in 27 times before the game will start. This guys ego is enormous. Death Stranding is so disappointing, I don't want to even play second part with this boring story, super weird characters and music pretending to be elevating whole experience from empty void - it doesn't work. Bring espionage game to the table asap or start making movies.
Beginning chapter 4 of Alan Wake, so far it's good but not amazingly good - fighting mechanic is repetitive and boring as much as first game and plot is just so so. Graphics and atmosphere are much better though.
@The_Pixel_King same issue here, I am puzzled how Sony team with such rich knowledge and experience is unable to implement same solutions as present in previous gens or why this is taking so long to see them coming.
Sadly looks like game held back by previous generation requirements, but maybe gameplay will be surprisingly good. I try two FF games in my life, giving up shortly after start due to wacky gameplay and childish dialogues.
Played 5 or 6 big titles plus few indies on PSVR and move on, this whole VR crap is so overpriced and overrated for what it is. I'll be back in 2030, when the graphics will be looking finally acceptable.
Although I'm from Poland and always been supporting CDPR guys, simply because their games are really good, this time I made a good decision cancelling my PS4 preorder nearly two months ago. Why? Because I had the feeling they become too greedy trying to release the game on all possible platforms at the same time. I remember well the lesson learned with Witcher 3, how long it took to fix the game to playable level on consoles and how better it was on PC's. I remember, looks like they don't. Now I choose to wait at least 6 months with Cyberpunk to be properly optimized for my PS4 Pro. It's a shame, but it was expected. Anyway, TLOU 2 and Tsushima are still waiting for my attention.
Finished the game few days ago and I have to say it's very mediocre overall. Looks like the title was released too soon and few things are unfinished or underdeveloped. Gameplay is too repetitive, additional side missions are boring and story is very meh, at the end I was skipping all the time - so simple and without creativity. Days Gone is kind of Mad Max mistake, deserves better quality. And these horrible loading times...plus it's definitely too long and kick off is too slow. Sequel should offer much, much more with every single aspect like Uncharted 2 did or Doom Eternal. To sum it up, enjoyable, but definitely not AAA title. So many folks said that game is underrated, frankly it's quite opposite for me.

Smells like Dark Souls 3 remake, perhaps

Re: Poll: Which PS5 Games are You Buying in Early 2024's Ridiculous Release Schedule?
None of them, still playing games from 2023 and I'm rarely paying full price (last time RDR 2).

Re: PlayStation's 2024 Release Schedule Is Already a Joke
Sorry, but maybe 2-3 games from that list looks promising to me, lack of true big and fat AAA titles is painful.

Remastering the game from 2015 in 2021...What a BS and greediness.
Re: Talking Point: Did Sony's State of Play Livestream Meet Your Expectations?
Very dissatisfied, not even one AAA new title presented (cuz Deathloop is not and it looks exactly like Dishonored in terms of gameplay).
