I’ve played all the mainline Yakuza games with subtitles, but I tried Yakuza: Like a Dragon and the Judgment games with English dubs and enjoyed them that way.

Then I tried the demo for Infinite Wealth and oh boy. Kiryu as a nasal-voiced whiner just doesn’t work. Back to subtitles, then.

More Pocket Circuit racing in Like a Dragon: Gaiden. Frustrating yet addictive.

@sonicmeerkat I can’t understand why—out of all the first party games put on PS Plus—Sony thinks Knack 2 is the one title people will pay for.

I have never experienced stick drift, so I suspect that people who say they have are lying. Either that, or they are smashing their controllers with hammers and then dunking them in the toilet. If you didn’t do stupid things like that, you wouldn’t have any problems.

Also, cars don’t break down all by themselves. As long as you put gas in the tank and don’t drive them into walls, they’ll keep going. My car has been running great for years and years so I don’t see why anyone else would have a problem.

Oh, and your cat died because you didn’t feed it. I feed my cat, and it’s still alive, unlike yours. You should be locked up, you monster.

This is troubling:

2. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR - 278 hours
3. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim PS5 version- 183 hours

@Bunchesopuppies I’ve been advancing the main story just in hopes of finding another place to play Wheels! So far, I haven’t been able to play it for less than an hour at a time.

I was watching Netflix’s The Queen with my blind mother, using the descriptive audio feature, when out of the blue a sex scene began. Now, it’s always uncomfortable to have to sit through these with your mom, but I thought it wouldn’t be so awkward since she couldn’t see it.

That’s when the narrator started with the very detailed play-by-play of the events on the screen. So much worse than just watching in embarrassed silence. We never discussed it, but we never watched that show again. Couldn’t risk it.

That is bewildering. No way I’m smart enough for this game.

So glad I didn’t renew my Premium membership in November! I chose to let my subscription lapse and move to Extra, even though that would cost more than the discounted Premium price. Since my subscription lapsed yesterday I can get the level I want and save money, too!

I’ve played about ten hours of HFW, taking my time and doing a lot of side activities, and even though I’ve barely finished the Daunt, every trophy I have left to earn is rare. Fewer than half of all players have gotten more than a quarter of the way through the game. It’s surprising that they’ll gate the DLC behind finishing the game when so few people ever will.

@Ultrasmiles I initially started to download the demo to Life Is Strange 2 yesterday. When I realized my error, I searched for the game again and saw there were two entries and the full game was also able to be downloaded. Don’t know if that helps.

It looks like the PS5 upgrade is available only for PS Plus Premium subscribers, and only to stream. At least, I see no option to download it.

The game crashes constantly in shop menus.

I was looking forward to finally finishing this when the PS5 version gave me a reason to revisit it, but the game constantly crashes when I’m in any store. I’ve deleted it and will see if a patch is ever coming for that.

Jett: The Far Shore is on my wishlist so this is good news for me.

It says I played 0 hours on PSVR but I played VR games most Sundays this year.

Just got the Sam & Max remastered bundle but won’t get to play them for a while. I played them on PC and again on PS Now. I’ll get the next one too, if only to signal that there’s an audience for these kinds of game.

Thanks for this article. I didn’t choose PS Plus Premium, I was assigned that tier because I had a PS Now subscription. I would prefer to have PS Plus Extra because that combines what I liked about my PS Plus and PS Now subscriptions, but it seems I’m locked into this tier unless I want to pay more money to downgrade.

All I can do is wait 8 months for my subscription to lapse and then sign up for a year of PS Plus Extra for more money than an extra year of Premium would cost right now.

At least you saved me some time, because I’m sure I would have been trying to figure out where the downgrade option was hidden, thinking there must be a way to do this.

I don’t understand why some people are angry that you pointed this out. I’m grateful.

There’s an option somewhere in the PS5 settings to “avoid spoilers.” Does that not do anything? Never understood how it would know, anyway.

@WizzNL That did it! Since the PS5 was already on so I could change the privacy settings, I tried remote play with it still on, and nothing happened. But waking it up from rest caused it to register.

@WizzNL I use remote play almost every day for a lot longer than 5 minutes, but it never registers. I use an iPad or iPhone.

I tried Dreams, and I just got confused. I didn’t understand the interface or see how to find anything to play. I got a few hours into the tutorial and gave up.

I downloaded Man of Medan already from PS Extra. Now that it’s going to be available to PS Essential, what happens if I downgrade to that tier when my current subscription ends? Do I lose access to the game? Can I delete it and add it to my library next week, or am I out of luck because I’m on a higher tier?

Actually, I don’t care so much about losing this game but going forward this will bother me until I know.
