Best PS4 Games Poll

Ah, the PS4. At the time of writing this article, Sony's last-gen console is still very much alive, but the system is now entering its ninth year on the market. As such, we don't have a problem with looking back on the system's frankly excellent games catalogue, and we invite you to rate a whole bunch of PS4 titles so that we can put together an official Push Square list of the console's best software.

But hey, it won't be easy. As mentioned, the PS4 has a huge library, and there are so many brilliant games to consider. In our humble opinion, the PS4 era has been one of Sony's strongest — coming incredibly close to equalling the immense success of the PS2, and ushering in an impressively lucrative age of digital gaming.

Following on from the PS3, Sony knew that it couldn't afford another bad start to a console generation. In a lot of ways, the PS4 was specifically designed to sidestep many of its predecessor's issues. For developers, it was easy to work with. For players, it was easier to play with. Its online components were streamlined, and innovations like the Share button brought a social edge to the system that's now part of PlayStation's identity.

But for us Gamers, it was the PS4's games that solidified its place as a top tier system. About halfway through the PS3's lifecycle, Sony had really stepped things up with regards to exclusive, high quality titles. It had laid the foundations for its first-party studios to go all-out on genre-defining experiences like Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and God of War III, and things would only get better with the PS4.

The last-gen device is simply packed with amazing exclusives. Bloodborne, Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us: Part II... The list goes on. And on top of all that, you've got stone cold modern classics from third parties: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Red Dead Redemption 2, Persona 5 Royal, Dark Souls III, Monster Hunter World... Jeez!

And on that note, we think it's time to get rating. Here's how it works: you'll find a list of every PS4 game in our system below. You can use it to rate as many games as you like, and once a game has a certain number of ratings, it'll be included in our official Best PS4 Games article, which we'll be publishing in the near future (assuming its ratings are actually positive!).

Remember, you can also use the search bar to find specific titles.

Right then, let's get rating!

Thanks for taking the time to rate all of these PS4 games. What titles did you actually end up rating? Feel free to tell us all about your favourites in the comments section below.
