I won't touch a f2p game. Looter shooters can be good though. Destiny 2 rocks (though I got out years ago and won't go back).

I'm kinda happy for a weird reason. Been wanting to play an NHL game again but heard they're not great the last few years and didn't want to spend money. So I'll take it.

2 is one of the best games ever made. 3 was a disappointment.

This game looks like a Norse version of classic HoMM/Disciples.

The first line said it best. By far my favourite type of setting. This game has been on my watchlist since it was first announced.

@Creepycelery_20 Metaphor is Persona and SMT smashed together by the same Devs. It's going to be great.

@Nem I prefer DC1. 2 was too arcadey and never stuck with me at first. Eventually I learned to like it, but the move away from survival horror was a bad one for me.

It was most wanted remake, high up in favourite series/game (2nd in one poll), Regina was in the top 10 best characters multiple times. Remake/sequels to existing IPs was the most wanted direction. The fact this beat DMC in any poll is a hell of a statement.

We are so getting a remake. Also Breath of Fire 3 feature in the top 10 a lot too. My second most wanted after Dino Crisis.

Please don't ruin 9. I don't like that they skipped 8 which ironically would work with the idiotic story butchering that they did with 7.

A lot of people got Helldivers 2 because of the Starship Troopers similarities

Is it true that this isn't the actual Yasuke? Sounds dirty really, him being tokenised like that. At least the historical period is about right. I mean the real guy's bio is likely altered anyway. A legit truthful as possible story on him & Nobunaga would be really cool.

Eurogamer are the type to give a well received game a 1/5. They can't be trusted at all.

@Specky Souls games are very grounded..that was the draw. That's the whole reason Demon's Souls became popular. I don't think you played them, or even Nioh very much. Nioh is very skill based which is why I loved it so much. Nothing like Souls games but still great, arguably better than them.

@Perturbator Souls were a different kind of difficulty but you could for the most part beat them with leveling, gear, and your own experience. Games like Ninja Gaiden are just hardcore. A whole higher level of difficult.

Quite a big article, nice. This has been on my day 1 buy list since it was first announced.

The expansion story pretty much carries on one of many massive plot holes in the base game story.

Rocksteady are long gone. They exist in name only. It's not the same people who developed the Arkham trilogy.

@Pat_trick Uncharted 4 was fantastic. 3 was the black sheep in the series. It was awful but it's not easy following Uncharted 2 aka one of the best games ever made.

@Dragoon1994 After Phantom Pain, they should have remade MG1 and MG2 then remade MGS1 with Hayter back as Solid Snake. MGS1 could have been outsourced.

People think any action game with this camera angle and a lock on mechanism is a Soulslike. It's tiring. Demon's Souls incorporated existing mechanics and added its own ideas. Many 'Soulslike' mechanics were around long before From elevated themselves.

This looks more fast paced so it's closer to a Nioh/Team Ninja game than a Soulslike.

We've had good live service games for years and I've been telling people. But they don't wanna hear it.

Now that's a bad month. Dredge is the only game on that whole list that's worth caring about. GTA SA will probably leave again next month.

Always get the wallet top-up and wait for a deal. I've never bought a full price game for points.

I don't care if a game has microtransactions, as long as the game itself is good.

@Deoxyr1bose TN have never made a soulslike. The last few games have been Ninja Gaiden hybrids that become progressively easier with each game. They have some FromSoft inspirations. RotR is the closest but still more Nioh than a Soulslike. Nioh is 100% not a soulslike. If you tried to play that game like it was a Souls game you'd struggle a lot.

William is also a character creation option in this, just like Nioh 2.

Technically America is the East. Since Japan is west of there.

You should be calling this a solid game that's worth playing.

@TheIronChimp Colony Wars was like my dream game back then. Was sad when the series went downhill and died.
