Lara isn't as vulnerable as people say in the reboot games. If you play well she's a total badass in Rise, taking out groups of men like a sharpshooting Ninja. She's not whiney either. I mean at one point she was about to be shot down as an outsider and then said she understood their decision. Even though I'd be less understanding.

Literally all she's missing is the dual pistols. Which is a shame.

@PuppetMaster you didn't play DBZ Hyper Dimension on the SNES? The best Z fighting game. It even had a solid online community through emulation.

@JDCII we are not conditioned. Each gen has seen significant improvements. People are conditioned to be as negative as possible to feel special. Nobody is winning an award for saying FOMO or saying proudly that they won't buy a Pro. Unless there's an award for spewing repetitive dross where it's no longer relevant or warranted.

@OldGamer999 back to back games as an everyman. Though Isaac is suspiciously good with guns in combat scenarios.

People were playing the PC version for weeks. I mean there was a Spanish dude blatantly streaming it on twitch.

Rebirth failed because they butchered the story to make a weak convoluted sequel trilogy. Part 3 will be even worse because fans are savvy to what's going on by now. All they had to do was remake FF7 and they'd be printing money but ego took over.

I was burnt out on Horzion after the sequel and didn't even bother with the dlc so I'm glad the single player series won't be around for a while. Needs a break to avoid oversaturation.

Kojima is a true artist, unafraid to take risks. Never made a bad game. I can't wait for this and DS 2.

For a technological luxury item it's not expensive. People are kneejerk overreacting as always.

The Pro has been around long enough now. People can stop complaining to feel special. Move on. I got one and, as a Performance mode player, it's a significant upgrade for me.

Still available in Ireland. I got mine. Turned down the 30th anniversary version but got the controller.

I thought First Light was awful. I hope they have upped their standalone game since.

I've also never felt Jin needed to exist outside of GoT. Not against it either.

MGS3 is not simply Kojima's best game. It's the best game. Can't wait for this remake, gonna be playing it on the Pro.

@Cloud39472 Origins and Odyssey was the peak of the entire AC franchise. The Ezio games are horrendously overrated. I'm saying this as someone who has been there since the reveal of the first game (which was originally supposed to be a PS3 launch title).

I'll be buying LAD in February not this. You don't clash with my goofy darling franchise.

Forced diversity/tokenism isn't ok. It's a red flag. This game is not that. Her story as an onna-musha will be interesting. But you can blame other studios for shoehorning diversity as much as you can blame the loons that call literally anything woke.

A lot of people aren't buying it because of the Disney-picked protagonist.

@8bitOG Steam players review bomb games all the time and most of the time for frivolous reasons. Theyre the most sensitive bunch of gamers. It's naive to blindly insult the reviewer here without checking first.

Far Cry 5 and Chernobylite are the only 2 worth caring about and I've already beaten them both.

I want a new Uncharted and a new Infamous. With the original teams. The top pic made me think of the latter and the namedrop of the former made me think of that.

Chernobylite and Far Cry 5 the only good games in that list. Both also have a cool story.

@themightyant graphics cards were being used by crypto miners and there was less of them available. Made sense for scalpers to do their wormy thing.

Cool thing about consoles is you plug n play. Years of PC gaming and nearly every game I got had some stupid issues that required Web searches and 1+ hour to resolve, if there even was a resolution.

The pedestal people stick PC on is too high.

The Pro isn't just a small difference over the base, and it isn't the price of a good gaming PC That's some real sour grapes.

Well this is embarrassing. No doubt most of those sales aren't people who are buying a Pro. Either retailers or scalpers looking to manipulate prices.

I was fine with the launch version. The fps thing was overplayed. Though any performance improvement is welcome.

700/800 isn't a lot of money for a luxury purchase these days. People still think it's 2004.

@get2sammyb I don't know how you can say concord was a very good looking game when the cast of characters looked like you hit the random generator button in an RPG.

@TheDudeElDuderino anyone who says the PS5 is meh or a dropped ball needs to spend time self reflecting. They also seem to be the types of people who think €800 can get you a quality gaming PC.

It's also a shame that some people are turning literally every article into a whining about price discussion. Give it a rest and stay on topic.
