Re: Dead Rising Remaster Adds PS5 Pro Support, Casual Mode

Oh my god the Pro whining is incessant. This is also about a new difficulty. Of course they're going to report it like literally any other game update. This is less about people highlighting something and more about people wanting everyone to know how great they are for not buying the Pro. Which isn't even aimed at them to begin with.

Re: Indiana Jones Looks Like an Adventure Worth Waiting for on PS5

@Fiendish-Beaver how are people still whining about the Pro. Please just stop going on about the price. Stop reducing the improvement to unfounded 'little bit better'. I have one and it's not merely a little bit better. You don't have one so just move on already.

And this game like any based off a visual medium would be better as third person. It's weird shifting to first person when you're using to seeing the character from the other perspective.

Re: How to Transfer Data from PS5 to PS5 Pro

JohntheRaptor

@Rich33 yea mine is a launch ps5. I was able to transfer what I needed via backup and restore so it's all good now, just took a couple of hours.

I'd recommend doing the save sync after if you're going that route as the restore wipes everything on your internal drive except the system updates and your account.

Fwiw I had 110gb of media but I saw a YouTube video where the guy had about 100gb and the please wait phase was almost instant

@Mostik decided to use backup and restore for the capture gallery instead and use sync download for my saves. Backup was stuck on the initial "please wait" for ages and took 7 mins to start the backup after confirming so I reckon the old PS5 is what kept breaking the data transfer.

@Mostik I've tried like 5 times and reset the router. Both on the same wifi band. It's mad how such a simple task fails. I can use ps store and save data sync so it's not being blocked. My last resort left is to check firewalls.

Re: Dragon Age: The Veilguard: Best Character Class and Faction

JohntheRaptor

I hear this has the ME3 priming-detonating mechanic so it's disappointing to know there are no hybrid classes. This feels like DA2 all over again.

Also had the idea of a close range mage that nobody ever really does in RPGs. Imagine a mage that fights like an assassin but fires off magic in their combos.

Re: Mini Review: MechWarrior 5: Clans (PS5) - An Obsolete Model

JohntheRaptor

The appeal of Mechwarrior was always the slow lumbering combat. It felt weighty and realistic like they should be. I always wanted this to be the prime mecha series for that reason. I say this as a long term fan of AC.

This is a short and what seems to be an out of touch review from a reviewer I've not noticed before. Is he new? The reviewer is getting ragged on in the comments section too by people who know the series better
