Re: Another PS Plus Extra, Premium Game for August Hinted

Gh05tm4ch1n3

@Akila_24 what a load of rubbish. Forza horizon 5, halo infinite are gaming gems, 1st party and i dont see horizons newest iteration on ps plus and i dont expect to see god of war ragnarok day one on that service either. Does ps plus have ea play? All the yakuza library? Guardians of the galaxy? All the bethesda games??.

Sure xbox game pass hasnt got the single player adventure games playstation has but does ps plus have a ***** ton of rts, shooters, racers, indies like gamepass?? I seriously think your trying to low ball what gamepass has too offer. But lets not forget this site is home to ponies.

Re: Immediate Backlash as Sony Asks Players About Purchasing NFTs

Gh05tm4ch1n3

@get2sammyb asking about the idea of buying nfts and which do you like more suggests they are thinking about it. So its not in the realm of in never doing it and more in the realm of "we want to know what nfts we could sell". Please dont defend them when sony/playstation turn around for that uh huh moment and blast playstation with purchasable nfts.

Re: Apologies PS3 Anime Fans! Crunchyroll Is Closing Down

Gh05tm4ch1n3

Seems suspicious to me. A sony owned company "crunchyroll" removing support for its older platform "ps3". Are they trying to say "if you dont upgrade to ps4 or ps5 forget crunchyroll".

Sounds like some fat money bags persons idea considering even most older mobiles are still supported. Ps3 is much more powerful then some of the most recent mobile phones. Yea so suspicious cash grab.

Re: Sony to Abandon One-to-One PlayStation Support on Twitter

Gh05tm4ch1n3

@Uncharted2007 again id fully agree except the fact reaching there support team was hard already and slow to get answer from. Removing options makes it all the much harder. Lots of companies use social media platforms for there support twitter, facebook, twitch hell even instagram.

Re: Sony to Abandon One-to-One PlayStation Support on Twitter

Gh05tm4ch1n3

@Uncharted2007 twitter is an cesspool thats a fact. But removing a option to reach out to support while not adding a better way and just counting on there old ways sound very ...... anti consumer. They didnt need to remove it but decided so without putting anything extra in place elsewhere. Sounds like a cop out to me.

Re: The Last of Us PS5 Remake Is Meticulously Built and Crafted, Not a Cash Grab

Gh05tm4ch1n3

@dark_knightmare2 this is most definitely a cash grab. You can argue all you want but you wont win this one. 90% of the people in the comments section alone are saying its a cash grab. All i see is yourself being argumentative like you have some kind of investment with naughty dog. The facts are they spent neither the time, money, resources to make this game unlike the original yet choose to jump on the $70 bandwagon. Its not a new game.

Re: Returnal Celebrates a Year Since PS5 Release

Gh05tm4ch1n3

Not for me. If you find this game overly punishing and tedious go play outward. Got so fed up of getting my bum handed to me in a platter, robbed, inprisoned, starved to death, froze to death yea environment will kill u and winter is unforgiving and very frequent, dragged to a cave and 2 shot by a hyena..... and thats just the starting area. Walked into a dark bandit fort thinking oh bandits to kill for loot... nope giant killer vamp werewolf thing after opening a gate. This is only the starting area ffs.

Re: Scores of PS Now Games Being Scrubbed from the Service

Gh05tm4ch1n3

@suikoden why is it such a stretch of the imagination that pc already has a unofficial ps3 and ps4 emulator. If sony wanted it too happen you would have a ps3 emulator on ps5. Even the ps4 could of emulated a ps3 but as you know some emulators need header room too run background code and on ps4 that would of been very tight but still possible. The problem is that sony dont want you to know or be doing is running background code like a emulator would do.

There are also licensing restrictions so they dont want you to be able to run unlicensed code/games on a separate system.

Re: Scores of PS Now Games Being Scrubbed from the Service

Gh05tm4ch1n3

@Stocksy that was a really good thought out reply.

I really do think the tiers are kind of stupid imho same with gamepass. The cheap workaround for gamepass will at some point be removed (especially if the rumors are true that they are removing gold and merging with gamepass 1st tier anyways). This would bring the ps plus premium tier along the same lines as ultimate in cost but not in features. What does that leave? Each service has that "you cant get that on that" thing.

Also ive noticed a lot of games being phased out of the smart delivery across generations and have chose too charge more for optimised for x and s... which i think is kind of a rip off.

You dont get ea play with ps plus premium so thats one thing but i would of thought isnt hard to get at least some or all ea play games through normal contracts too service on ps plus premium.

They are really similar services imho and its not finalised or released till june 2022.

Yes sony have dropped the ball cause they liturally made ps now obsolete and more expensive, added cloud saves as part of a paid for tier yet you can get that for free on xbox. Then there is day one releases but until microsoft start pumping out them bangers being developed its not much of a shout.

Re: Scores of PS Now Games Being Scrubbed from the Service

Gh05tm4ch1n3

@DualWielding contractual obligations if sega were to be aquired would still remain but exclusivity unless contracted is a different thing alltogether. Say microsoft did aquire sega (which i think is quite impossible seeing as sega has already tried too remain on neutral ground for many years) contracts that were in place would still remain till handover. Handovers arent instant and take up too 1 year after the news hits mainstream in most cases. They could be repricing or as i know removing some sega games for sonic origins.

Re: Max Payne 1 and 2 Remakes Coming to PS5

Gh05tm4ch1n3

For pc, ps5 and xbox series x. Look i understand push square is a playstation centric news site but this article made it seem like playstation are working with remedy and rockstar to make this happen.

It's clearly remedy and rockstar not playstation.

Re: EA Play Members Treated to an Indie Gem This Month

Gh05tm4ch1n3

Everyone who reads this article the take away its.

Its an ea play subscription game in ea play. The game was always playable on ps5 and 4 but you would of had to buy it at full price.

Ea play isnt a part of ps plus library as its a game owned by electronic arts/ea.

Ea play is also part of the gamepass ultimate subscription on xbox.

Re: Sloppy Sony Infrastructure Blocks Ghost of Tsushima PS4 to PS5 Upgrades After PS Plus Legends Claim

Gh05tm4ch1n3

@MattBoothDev if thats true why is sony not hiring them??

Smart delivery has been there since day one.

Its honestly sonys fault at this point they have had plenty of time to do there own version of smart delivery. All i can think of is that sony want people to make mistakes and purchase 2 versions of the same game or pay full whack for upgrades. Another story of sony being greedy and ignorant.

Re: Sony's Backwards PS4 to PS5 Upgrade System Is Still Causing Headaches

Gh05tm4ch1n3

@munstre sorry but regardless of company size and laid out planning for infrastructure on upgrading games it isnt really that difficult of a implementation Sony playstation have had a year and then some to get it right but are still floundering in the "we could still make money from next gen upgrades" jim ryan even stated "we believe in generations" for a little while also promised next gen upgrades with titles and then comes out later on twitter to say "this is the last time you will recieve a free next gen upgrade" its a action of not only pure greed but a very poor attitude towards generations.

Xbox smart delivery has been there from day one. While not all next gen upgrades are free (outside of xbox control) its definitely the right move to get people playing on new hardware.

Im honestly amazed why playstation is selling so well when xbox is doing such an amazing job.

Re: Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok Costs $40, Not Included in the Season Pass

Gh05tm4ch1n3

I see a lot of people supporting this for no good reason. I remember when a season pass meant all future dlc or expansions but here you all are supporting greedy ubisoft. There is no defending this rubbish.

The game itself is getting old you could probably get it on ebay for £20 and get a season pass for 30 thats still £30 that ubisoft are making from each season pass, if they want to see people spending money on that season pass they really need to buck up there idea. £40 for a new expansion on a old game is far too much and should not be justified with excuses "but its as big as a standalone title" so? You still need the base, most likely the previous season pass content and like all the online patches. Im not saying it should be free.

Re: PS Plus Blocks Free Mortal Shell PS5 Upgrade

Gh05tm4ch1n3

@Arnna mortal shell isnt a new game, it had its release and didnt sell well. Why do you think this suddenly ended up on both plus and gamepass. Maybe microsoft is willing too pay more as they have the upgrade through smart play at no additional cost. Secondly both sony and microsoft b9th gave money up front for this game to be on there platforms services. Honestly should be blaming sony.

Re: PS Plus Blocks Free Mortal Shell PS5 Upgrade

Gh05tm4ch1n3

@Boldfoxrd so far this year has been more negative then positive with sony. They need to up there customer care, give free graphical upgrades instead of justifying why they are charging more for a game and then sticking another $10- 20 on top, deliver on promises that they are breaking with "we believe in generations" and then pulling the old....its more expensive to make these upgrades so its justified after this game.

Re: PS Plus Blocks Free Mortal Shell PS5 Upgrade

Gh05tm4ch1n3

@Northern_munkey if psn plus or psnow was free then id say "be happy with what you are given" but it isnt free. If you sell a game on one console and later on make an update (basically a tweak of pc settings though). I really dont think it can be justified to charge people a premium when there is very little work involved. unless it contains content like dlc, expansions, season pass of all released content.
