Everywhere else I read glowing reviews for this one on Xbox. 7 seems kind of low. Smells of Xbox tax, just like Cuphead.

I have yet to find a single real life videogamer fan who actually loves Deathloop. Not one. It is like one of those high-brow European flicks nobody actually enjoys but everyone respects out of fear of being labeled ignorant. Like an cringy Oscar bait film that crashed at the box office but gets 10 nominations out of respect.

Levine made 3 of the very best games I have played in my whole life. I hope he gets his ***** together and reaches the deadlines with another top 50 goat.

Criticizing Guardians of the Galaxy for the corridor gameplay? hmmmm. Last of us, Uncharted and Final Fantasy XIII would have a word with you. But of course Guardians of the Galaxy has the muti-plat tax.

At least it didn't suffer the xbox-timed-exclusive tax that prevents masterpieces such as Cuphead or Rise of the Tomb Raider to be considered for awards at a PS website.

Guardians is a great new IP and in my top 5 of the year. Easily (the atmosphere, music, graphics, performances, writing and just plain FUN are extraordinary).

@Serialsid If you don't see a problem in a multimillion-dollar game company producing just one type of game all the time and how this leads to market exhaustion, then obviously you are not a genius indeed. Keep buttering up Playstation, see what benefits brings you. I must remind you that Sony's best selling console ever was the PS2 which introduced dozens of new IPS in very different genres. PS4 brought 2 new ips, Days Gone and HZD both the same over the shoulder tp cinematic drama. And Sony in all their wisdom already abandoned DG because it wasn´t a ten million seller. With that mentality, PS chances of innovating and creating new genre defying milestones is very grimm. it is sad.

@Serialsid First, brand loyalty is actually incredibly important. Just ask Samsung if you don't believe me. An erosion of costumers is your first step into oblivion. That's why Samsung phones are nowhere near what they used to be. it is actually quite dangerous not to cater to your core audience. But I guess you're not a marketing genius. Second, you just reinforce my point. This is about them making more though to make more of the same cookie cutter third person narrative on rails experience with an over the shoulder camera and a lackey character to talk to through the story. There is ZERO innovation in the last 5 years of playstation "exclusives" good quality games but all of them DERIVATIVE or sequels. I still remember times of Locoroco, Vib-Ribbon, Journey, Flower, Sound Shapes, Tokyo Jungle, to name a few.
Zero risk now.
So, yes, I am right. Zero good news for old costumers, zero advantages for long time consumers.

Sony is obsessed with making games like movies. But their movies are actually crap. Games are so much more than a movie. I wish they dedicated that much energy to making MORE games. One game per semester is not cutting it. I didn't buy a PS to watch tv.

It's Sony's arrogance all over again. People keep yapping about "exclusives". Man, PS5 have exactly TWO (2) exclusives. Two. That's it. And let's not kid ourselves, no one bought a PS5 to play Returnal. Everything else is a remake/upgrade/available PS4/PC . Truth is there won't be a need to buy a PS5 untill 2023. I really miss Shawn.

Why am I not surprised? My beloved Playstation is falling hard into the lack of humbleness and perspective that arrogance begets. They need a failure to get the receptive attitude back.
