While not ignoring it as @Toot1st suggested, the articles main focus is on PS5 compared to Xbox.

I mean if, as commentators suggest, Xbox is dead/dying then it's not that big a victory, merely bragging rights.

Perhaps the main focus should be on devs being "twice as interested" in PC over PS5?

Surely that's a bigger aspect for PS.

I've wondered that also. You'd think they'd have at least 2 people checking. The outlay of the time checking must surely be less than the potential of bad press and losing sales.

The article and comments were generally a lot harsher in just last month's article on the use of AI in another game, Call of Duty.

Going by this, people seem to be becoming desensitized to it already. AI in games news weary, less outrage and slowly getting used to it.

Just started playing this at the weekend.

Some games grab you from the off - for me this is one of them.

I may restart though in "Relax Mode" as I found the time constraints more stressful than I would have liked.

Yeah the Steam store isn't usually the cheapest place to get games.

Monster Hunter Wilds for example which you quoted at 79.99 can be got on a third party site for £30.

A console can play games natively.

This update turns the Portal into a fully standalone streaming device (an excellent one at that).

I.E. It was the use of "console" I was questioning not "standalone".

Still, at least there is a disc (that can be resold), unlike Sony's collectors editions that have NO disc.

As always, I await an article on that.
