I don’t know mate, it was fun to finally play it from start to finish at 60 FPS (pronounced like Mighty Keef, LMAO). Now I get a free upgrade. I’m eating good.

I get the price was dumb to begin with, but still. I don’t get all the drama.

The Definitive Edition was much, much worse deal.

I downgraded to Essential and the only thing I miss are the trials. The same thing people thought was useless. LMAO.

@Czar_Khastik I played on my PS5 for several hours today. I didn’t even know.

I bought it to play GT7 but I can’t use it for that because it makes me sick. Everything else I tried so far was either underwhelming or flat out boring.
I’m happy they added games to PS+ for it but that’s about it. I’m about as happy to have bought it as I’m happy I bought a XSX for Halo Infinite. 🤣

@Gamer_X which doesn’t sound very smart considering how bad XBOX is doing, does it?
I’m not against PlayStation games being on other platforms, as long as I get to play them on my favorite one. But the risks of diluting the brand and corner yourself into a spot where the traditional console doesn’t make sense anymore is tangible.
I personally love the traditional console model. I don’t want it to go away. But if that’s what the future is going to bring… I’ll live with it.
Just let’s not put our heads in the sand and pretend what PlayStation is doing ain’t at least a bit risky.

I played the game for several hours but then I stopped and never went back to it. It was fun but I didn’t feel compelled to keep playing. I couldn’t get invested in the characters and the gameplay mechanics aren’t that fun for me.

That said. Lots of people like it and I’m glad more people get to enjoy it.

@nomither6 I might be dead wrong about this but I think no one would have much of an issue with it. Some people really have a bone r for Sony, almost as much as for Apple. Justified or not I don’t understand why the same isn’t for Microsoft that is as horrible of a company if not worse.

But at the end of the day, I don’t really care one way or the other. I’m not piling on it but I’m not defending a big corpo either.

I don't know, I understand Days Gone wasn't a success economically, but it "sold" 7mil copies. Most of them on sale and PS+, but still. It warranted some kind of sequel. IMO. But maybe it is just that I'm biased because I really enjoyed the game and I would want to play more of it.

The remastered is very good and worth revisiting. As for GTA+. Nope thanks. RDR and GTA4 are pretty much the only games I care about, it ain’t worth it to pay a subscription. For me of course, mind ya.

I wanted to get Immortals so that’s a win for me. I confused Minecraft Legends with Minecraft Dungeons, it’s even better. I want to try it!
It’s really a great month for me.

I really don’t understand people complaining about this generation. The console is good, better than PS4 was at the time. The games are good. First and third party games. At least for me, this is the best gen yet. Been in the game since before PS1 came out. The only PS gen I didn’t care a lot about is PS2, I played only GT4. Because I was mainly playing on PC and Dreamcast. Or was XBOX? I always get confused with that gen. Anyway. Best PlayStation yet for me, for sure. My fave too, surpassing PS4? We’ll see. Too soon to tell, but so far I’m very happy with it.

I don’t know. The mention of season content. It’s going to be another micro transaction ridden game?
Graphics are… meh. Doesn’t look any better than any other tennis game around. Which is not a good thing.
Gameplay is the part that matters though. TS4 was fun as heck. We’ll see. Certainly not buying it day one after the World Tour debacle.

With the state most games are at release the physical copy is getting more and more useless. Can you imagine having to play CP2077 with the release code? LOL.
I don’t know, I want to support physical games but I’m guilty. I love the convenience of digital and I buy physical copies only of games I really love, after I bought them digitally.

Wanted to try Unbound since release. That’s great. I already own Outer Worlds Spacer Choice Edition and I highly recommend it.

Astro Playroom was one of the best games of this generation. I would be very happy to see more Astrobot coming.

@Rayman123 oh wait, I see what you mean now. Cloud gaming would be the alternative for those gamers I was talking about. Jesus Murphy that’d be a very bleak and sad paradigm shift. Hopefully it won’t happen. It might turn me off completely from playing new titles.

@Rayman123 I’m skeptical about that happening. PC gaming is incredibly expensive to get into from scratch. Most gamers complain current gen consoles are too expensive. Also most gamers don’t have the knowledge to build or even just pick an already built gaming PC. They’d be losing a ton of players. That would make Nintendo a very happy camper.

The idea of finally being able to play XBOX games with a DualSense is appealing. Certainly it makes me feel like I wasted 500€ on the XSX. But I was already feeling like that to begin with, to be totally honest.

I don’t know about best ever and whatnot, but I had a lot of fun as always playing games. I played some great games and some terrible duds.
I certainly look with a bit of skepticism at people who say it was a terrible year and there are no good games. Far from me to judge other people experience but, I don’t know, maybe, they are not into games that much (anymore?). There are other hobbies out there to enjoy. I for instance used to love to watch movies, I watched hundreds. Over a thousand, I’m pretty sure. But nowadays most movies just bore me and I don’t feel the drive to watch them anymore. Happens sometimes, you just gotta realize it and move on. You’ll be happier.

@Bamila The CC asked me the serial number of the PS I used to create my account. My account was created more than 10 years ago on a PS3 I don't own anymore, it died. XD
Fortunately an order number was a sufficient alternative.

Yup, I had the same problem. Bought two games on the cheap and realized I didn’t receive squat. Holding on buying BG3 and Arizona Sunshine 2 because of this. I’m an old man, I want me points. 🤣

@IOI yeah, I love the game, don’t get me wrong. But it was hilarious. Especially considering the game is still garbage on last gen.

I’m looking forward to trying Powerwash simulator. I’d rather do it in real life but it’s winter and I’m always concerned with wasting water, so there’s that. I would have probably bought it if I saw it on the cheap. Like this I get to try it first and potentially not wasting my money like I did on Terminator Resistance.

I played Terra Nil from Netflix, on my iPhone. I believe it’s the first time I actually played a game consistently on a phone.
Did I enjoy it? Yes. Although using a phone for playing any games is a struggle for me personally.
Would I rather have played on my Mac? Yes, I would.

I might try something else, as I already pay for it. But it would be like 100 times more valuable if I could play these games on my computer or console. Like it is it doesn’t add a lot of value for me.

@bpomber I see the supposed demise of XBOX hardware as bad for consumers as well. But Microsoft are not really helping their case, are they? I own an XSX I bought to play Halo Infinite, but it was a huge disappointment for me. So I stopped using it waiting for Starfield. But then they announced it would be only 30FPS on XSX, so I skipped it entirely. The bulk of my games are on PS and I prefer the DS, so I play all 3rd party stuff there. I literally have no reason right now to own an XBOX as I don’t care about GP either.

Microsoft should have pumped some of that money they spent on ABK into developing amazing 1st party experiences, but they didn’t.

I sincerely hope they’ll stick around. I really don’t like Microsoft, I think it’s a terrible company, way worse than Sony. But some competition is better than no competition. Choice is better than no choice. Etc.

My very personal opinion, of course. Nothing more.

@themightyant it is a question of habit, I believe. I played with the symmetrical analog sticks since inception on PS and I’m so use it that when I use the asymmetrical ones my body and brain start to cringe.
Could I get used to it in time? Probably. Do I really want to waste precious free time doing it? Heck no.

As for the buttons. I feel your pain very strongly.

Not for me. I HATE the analog sticks positioned like that. One of the reasons why my XSX is behind the TV collecting dust is that I can’t find a PlayStation like wireless controller for it.

My daughter plays Roblox on her Mac. I’m excited about it being on PS4 because I can convince her to play on her PS4 and maybe she will play some other games as well while she’s on there. On Mac isn’t really an option for her.

I never played the OG game and I basically don’t remember anything before Guns of the Patriots. It legit would be like playing everything for the first time. I want to play this collection on my living room TV. I’m buying this 4k or not. I’m good with 1080p60.
I know, I’m everything that’s bad about the gaming community.
The only thing I don’t accept is blaming this on nostalgia. That’s not me at all. I bought the Wonder Boy collection because of it. But not this one. I genuinely want to play this games sitting on the couch using my DualSense. Sue me. No wait, please don’t.

I bought it day one. I was waiting for something like the Edge for a long time and quite honestly I’m 100% satisfied with it. The sort battery life sucks but it’s not a problem for me. I don’t have enough free time for that to be an issue and I always charge my controllers every time I’m not playing anyway.

I accept it’s not a product for everyone and that some can even see it as unnecessary. That’s fair. Still, I’m happy I got one.

I love PS4 and the DS4 a lot, my favorite gen by far, but the current gen is really shaping up to beat them. Time will tell.

I think the GT movie is going to be like GT7. Serviceable, but not great.

I’m a guy who really, really doesn’t care about these productions, one way or the other.
I also only watched the Uncharted movie and found it… I’ll give you three guesses.
