@Striker21 I'm not a Sony fan boy by any stretch of the imagination but what I've read across various platforms and general industry figureheads is that it's been a failure and returned nowhere near the investment. Staff numbers reduced, projects cancelled etc etc. Just going from bits that I've read. Im no expert on the matter 👍🏻

It was never a competition 🤣. Shame TBH as good competition drives up standards and value for money.

@Porco You can define all you like. The metric the actual person reviewing and Push Square define a 7 as a good game. Why do people wet the bed at a 7. Thousands of very enjoyable games get a 7. I get it if you only want to play the best of the best but that doesn't mean you should trash games that get a 7. Just my opinion, ofcourse your entitled to yours. 7= good.

I definitely don't feel as though the PS5 has been pushed to its limit. Wether that's due to poor optimisation or being held back by games still releasing on PS4, I don't know, im not tech savvy enough to have a fully informed opinion on it. Just think there's more left to do with the current gen.

Doesn't matter if this game is good or not. The pile on started a long time ago. Social media now decides if games are good enough or not. Don't get me wrong, im not a fan of live service games etc but I am a fan of letting games get released first then let's make a fair judgement.

They'll still be making games for the PS4 when this comes out along with a GTA 5 definitive edition

@themightyant yeah I get that. It just never lived up to the false hope I had of classic retro games that I had wished it was.

Edit. Now I also have a portal, if I want to cloud game I'll have to remain at premium 🤣🙈

@EfYI I know hence why I purchased it. It just sticks in my throat that it's not really what I thought it was going to be. So the only option I have to let Sony know we're not pleased is to not stay at that level. I agree with you though, most folk will just go to Premium for the minor increase

Totally agree. This is how I feel. Essential and Extra are fine, not much to complain about. Premium I won't be renewing once it expires.

Best way to play them? On the original consoles or the newest consoles were possible?

People just need to clean their PS5s more often. I do mines and the kids consoles every 6 months. Even just the basic clean without removing the fan will make a big difference. I bet there's loads of folk who haven't given their console a basic clean since purchase.
Edit. Original quoted article states they cleaned it recently so maybe not that in this case tbf.

@Questionable_Duck That's what the tech costs if you want a premium VR experience. I get it though when you first see the price. It's an amazing piece of kit that's very under appreciated. Niche product for VR enthusiasts. It's not for everyone, I just can't stand the unjustified pile on regarding available games. Plenty of good quality games for it. Just a shame Sony didnt back one of their one products......again. I'll be playing mine for a good few years still 👌

Free to play isn't really free to play though is it? We all have kids screaming out for V bucks, Robux etc etc

Premium hasn't lived up at all to what I thought it would especially regarding the classic titles that I thought we'd get. Thought I'd get more time with the PSVR2 games so their removal is particularly disappointing for me😕

@madmaxrules loads available now that are very good games imo. Wish Sony would jump back on board though😕

This is a buy for me 100%. As others have said already, needs a patch to optomise it better for PSVR2.

@EfYI Don't think you'll get £329 for a second hand PS5 Digital Edition. A quick look on ebay would confirm this I suspect.

@Cres_Waven1 Please see previous comments debunking this. It's not comparable at all. 93% or thereabouts of PlayStation games can play directly from the disc.
