I'd pay £599 if it came with the disc drive. If that doesn't make economical sense from a business point of view then so be it. The tech costs what it costs so if I don't think the price is worth it for what we are gaining I'll happily continue with my base model. I bought the PSVR 2 because I believed the tech that it came with was worth the price. Sometimes it's not about if you can afford it, but if you think it's good value for you personally. Hope those that do think it's worth it enjoy their purchase.

The saving isnt worth it imo. I'd buy a new one instead 🤷‍♂️ But I do like the principle of it. Just not enough of a saving for me to consider getting a refurbished controller.

Couldn't agree more. Although i have no problem if people want a Pro edition. I just want fully optimised games for my system with every last drop of available power being used.

@Olmaz Mandalorian is excellent. Rouge One fantastic. Ashoka is decent if a bit out there. Actually don't mind most of the new stuff. People forget Star Wars created for Kids/Families. Not super needs that are over analysing ever single thing. For the record I class myself as a Star Wars nerd also so i will be buying the game lol. That's the beauty of opinions I suppose.

@PuppetMaster I really hope this is the case. Its a fair assessment you've made also. They need to recoup development costs etc so once they hit that hopefully they re-visit it and give us a VR version. I will be purchasing the flat version regardless though. Deserves our support.

Wouldn't say the article just focuses on the visuals. He passes comment on it which is what you would expect. My kids love anime/magna stuff so hopefully something we can all enjoy.

Could do with some "kando attitude" when it comes to supporting their hardware. PSVR2 and first party releases please.

I prefer a bit of competition to keep other parties on their toes. Feel Microsoft have an angle here if they go down this route. Not quite sure what it is. Maybe to make further acquisitions easier or similar ploy?

Who makes these so I can commission my own lol ? I really those Sony would have made similar official ones themselves. They'd sell very well in my opinion. Huge IP library to chose from. I originally thought that's what they would do when tge removable plates were very first announced. Colours are good but some graphic design is much better.

@mvhess No not yet. I specifically bought it when I got my PSVR2. I'm a bit weird, I like to complete one game before I move onto the next game. But I believe NMS can be played almost endlessly.

Proprietary Vita memory cards was a massive mistake. Glad they saw sense with the PS5 memory extension. I respect your opinion and agree with some of it. I think Sony have been pretty good at innovation tbf although locked into their system.

@tameshiyaku Profit or non profit they want to keep it tied to their ecosystem. Makes no sense from their point of view to open it up to PC

Agreeing that the Portal only does exactly the only thing it was designed to do as a valid negative point is well ridiculous. It didn't promise to do anything else other than this. Back to the point of the article. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what the general consensus is amongst the whole community once reviewed/released.

@tameshiyaku Sony are probably making PSVR 2 at a loss or minimum profit. They will make money from the purchase of games on their store. They gain nothing by opening it up to PC I think.
